Beware: Cockroach on the table.
We were shocked to find a cockroach nymph right on our table while we were eating. After killing it, we alerted the waiter, but his reaction was nonexistent, he didn’t clean it up, didn’t apologize, and didn’t bother informing the manager.
When it came time to pay, we explained the situation to the manager. To her credit, she was very polite and waived the bill, but the fact remains: a food establishment simply cannot have cockroaches, and this issue needs to be addressed with the utmost seriousness.
Beyond the hygiene concerns, the service was a mess. It took half an hour just to be acknowledged, and they completely forgot one of our orders. We weren't the only ones frustrated. Other customers in the cafe were clearly unhappy with the service as well.
While the coffee is good, the food quality has significantly declined compared to a few years ago. It’s clear that management is no longer interested in improvement, but rather coasting on the reputation and good reviews they earned years ago.
