Among the best pastry shops of this kind, offering excellent desserts and drinks. We tried baklava and other delicious Turkish specialties, all freshly prepared. We also had Salep, a unique and interesting drink. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

The cheesecake at MADO was as delicious as ever rich and smooth, just like I remembered from another branch. The strawberry coulis was great, but I was hoping for more variety in toppings, like pistachio or other flavors. With the size and production capabilities of the place, I know they could offer more options. As for the service, though, it left something to be desired. The staff were a bit too intrusive too much checking in, asking, and flirting, which made me uncomfortable. Still, it’s a nice spot with a good view, and the cheesecake makes it worth the visit.

Not impressive. Typical tourist trap location telling old sweets with over priced menus. Not recommended.

Good food. Good services. We had breakfast . Tried the Burma kunefe also. Only the prices are not mentioned in the menu. So will be hard to choose for people with a limited budget . Rest the desserts are amazing. Different variety of turkish sweets .

We came in for a big Turkish breakfast and the food did not disappoint. Everything was delicious and fresh. I will say, however, the server was a bit mean and seemed very frustrated with everything we ordered.

Extremely unpleasant experience
I had an extremely disappointing experience at Mado in Istanbul. Upon arriving, the manager showed us a breakfast menu with pictures of all the items included and the price clearly stated. Based on this, we decided to stay. However, when we were taken to the restaurant room on the 7th floor, the staff informed that the menu shown was incorrect. They claimed that the menu was for four people and that many of the items pictured were not actually included in the meal for two persons. Despite the fact that is was clearly priced.
This felt like a deliberate bait-and-switch tactic to trick customers into ordering something far more expensive than advertised. We felt deceived and upset by this lack of transparency. Thankfully, we didn’t place an order, but the lack of transparency and honesty left us feeling upset and disappointed.
Honest communication and accurate menus are the minimum expectations for any dining establishment, especially one in such a popular tourist city.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and hope they take steps to improve their practices.

It is the best Mado to go to in the area since it has the best views when you sit on the top floor. We ate cold milk Baklava and had tea while enjoying the view. You can eat very delicious Turkish desserts at Mado without any doubt
