Situated on a hill, it has a rooftop restaurant and terrace offering city and lake views. Located in Ganesh Gati, Madri Haveli is a 5-minute walk from a clock tower, lake and Jagdish Temple. Udaipur Airport is 25 km away. Built using lime and stone materials, the air-conditioned rooms have a seating area by the window and are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV. Private bathroom with shower is included. Guests can enjoy a massage service in a dedicated massage room. Free Wi-Fi is accessible in the property’s common areas. Beautiful haveli, well restored and well maintained. The staff were nice and helpful — they picked us up at the taxi drop-off point and arranged a tuk-tuk for our check-out day at a reasonable price. The room was beautiful and clean. The location is convenient, right in the heart of the city, with a rooftop offering a nice view, even though it’s not on the lakeside. The Indian food was good as well. The breakfast is okay but with limited choice and a bit simple.

Loved our recent 3day stay in this haveli during our trip to Udaipur. Located very near to Gangaur ghat, Bagore ki Haveli, City Palace (walkable distance of 10mins) - this is really a hidden gem. Perks of staying includes a pinteresty stay, a great rooftop restaurant, supportive staff and a tour of the entire property and its stories. Clean and comfortable rooms,washrooms.Food at Skyfall restaurant tastes great and service was prompt as well. P.S - Please include a mirror in the room. Would love to visit again!

The haveli has been beautifully restored. The architecture, rooms, and terrace views are absolutely lovely. The food was delicious and the overall ambience really gives a heritage feel. However, there are a few things that could be improved. The mirror in the room wasn’t very convenient for use, and it would be great if the property had a few more activity or relaxation spaces. Also, autos can’t go all the way up to the haveli gate, so be prepared for a short uphill walk (around 5–7 minutes) from the drop-off point.

We booked 3 nights at this hotel and loved our stay! Our superior room was upgraded to the executive suite, which was such a lovely surprise! The room was so clean and comfortable, as was the bed and linens. We slept so well! We really loved the courtyard/sitting area outside the room. While we didn’t use the pool, it was nicely maintained and clean. Breakfast was included and made to order - the food was so good! We tried things from both the Indian and western menu. We also recommend the hotel restaurant in their sister property around the corner - excellent food! Many thanks to Satvir and also the general manager for their excellent service and help in arranging transportation, currency exchange, and providing us a truly wonderful experience in Udaipur!

This property gives you a true feel of a Heritage stay. This 300 years haveli is a budget heritage and best in terms of amenities it offers. The room service is also very prompt and professional. The rooftop restaurant offers a beautiful lake view.

My favorite hotel in Udaipur! I stayed for a week and had no complaints. The front desk staff is extremely helpful and kind. I was feeling sick during my time there and the front desk staff thoughtfully brought me a lemon ginger tea which was so comforting and much appreciated. Breakfast is made fresh with Indian and continental options that taste amazing. The housekeeping staff is also very kind, and the rooms are a good size and very clean. ||The location is excellent — making it easy to explore the city. Lunch and dinner are just a short walk away at their Madri Haveli location, where the food is delicious, and the sunset views are beautiful — a perfect way to end the day. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable and memorable stay! Thanks Madri Haveli team!

Nestled away in the by lanes of the old city, Udaipur is this beautifully restored -300 year old haveli. We stayed for 2 days in 2 different rooms - first superior room with very regal feel of a front veranda styled sitting area and a bedroom that has all the modern amenities combined so well with the haveli architecture that you’d not want to leave the haveli. And a second smaller but quaint and cute room that somehow fit 2 sitting areas and a bed. Special mentions goes to the staff here from - Sunil, Jitendra, and several others who attended at the helm of our needs. We had the privilege to meet with the owner from France who pulled all the stops to help us find us a roof over our heads when the next hotel cancelled our stay, unprovoked. Overall, we loved madri and can’t wait to be back here! Merci beaucoup Madri!

It was a pleasure staying in the Madri Haveli - the hotel is well located, with easy routes to explore the Old Town. The staff are all exceptional, providing amazing service and care for all guests.|The buildings also have gorgeous rooftops, which will let you see a stunning night-time panorama of the city.|On one of the rooftops there is a restaurant, which has delicious food, which accompanied by the city panorama is a fantastic experience.
