Went to Madrid plumbing today and gentlemen I met was absolutely phenomenal. Very knowledgeable very helpful. Prices were very fair. Great atmosphere parking available delivery available. Support your community! This is a mom & pop hardware store that has a great selection of tools, you can find almost anything you need, new and lightly used. The customer service is great. My only complaint is...prices don’t match quality for some items. The name brand “Tuff Stuff” is tough but have quality control issues and can’t be priced competitively like “Black & Decker” or “Husky”, if you know what I mean? Still I spend my money there, eyes closed because they give a damn about service to the community.

Hardware (store) is good. Large selection, very competitive prices and the owner is very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend this store. However, the Plumbing guys are no good. They came to my house after I explained IN DETAIL what my issue was and exactly what I had done to remedy it. (I installed a new thermocouple which I suspected to be bad) They said, they will fix or no charge!! I agreed. They did NOT fix; told me I would have to change out the entire control valve unit on my hot water heater, and brought me a very USED unit for a 50gal tank, when my tank is 75 gal, to install would be $350. I did not agree and told them I believed the problem to be a bad thermocouple.. The plumber said there is no way that could be the issue and when I refused the used unit, he then demanded I pay $75 for NOT FIXING MY PROBLEM.. The next day, I got a new thermocouple for $8. and installed myself and problem solved.

The place is ok. Prices are relatively reasonable. Sales staff are very helpful. I recommend it for everyone. Late opening hours are convenient.

Very nice neighborhood store. The owner is nice and helpful. You can find almost everything u need for the house maintenance.
