Maelgwyn House

A very good B&B in the town of Harlech. The property is situated in a nice location with great views. The property is clean, well maintained and rather tastefully decorated. The breakfast was great too. The hosts: Bridget and Derek are one of the friendliest persons I ever met. Had many enjoyable chats with them during the breakfast. Derek is also very knowledgeable about North Wales and provided me with helpful tips regarding the palaces to visit. I will return to this B&B in my next visit to wonderful Snowdonia.

I’ve finally found it after 50 years of searching...the perfect guest house! I’ve stayed in hundreds of guest houses in my time. This one is honestly the best I’ve been in. I stayed here with three friends as part of a golf holiday. Bridget and Derek could not have been more pleasant or accommodating. The rooms, bathrooms and public rooms were beautifully appointed and absolutely spotless. The breakfasts were extraordinary. Whether you’re looking for a place to sleep on a golf holiday, a family break or a business accommodation, Maelgwyn House is the perfect place to stay. I’ll be back.

Simon and I chose this bd and brekfast for our first wedding anniversary, and it was indeed a very pleasant and enjoyable experience! The house is amazing, beautifully presented, with lots of very pleasant paintings on the walls, and stunning views from our bedroom. The room itself was very welcoming, clean and attention to details made the difference all throughout our stay. The breakfast menu was excellent and the Welsh full breafast cooked to perfection! The hosts were welcoming, very knowledgable of the area and of Wales, and they had plenty of character and brilliant sense of humour! They made everybody feel at home and cheerful! We strongly recommend it if youa re planning a trip to this stunning region!

Had a magical time with B&D. Overwhelmed by their hospitality, kindness and knowledge. Full of beautiful art and drawings, not to mention the views!. Would even recommend it to my worst enemy! Breakfast was spot on. . X wonderful. Thank you.

I've been in uk for a short time but its the best B&B i've seen uptil now.Starting from the breathtaking view where this place is located to the amazing,comfy and peaceful rooms.A worth visiting place with a great hospitality by a lovely couple.

Friendly, warm, clean, fab breakfast & hosts couldn't have done more to ensure you had a good stay. I will be back!
