What a gem of a find! We needed a location to have a meal and enjoy some wine before going to QPAC, and I stumbled across this place after doing a search for places nearby. The wait staff are absolute standouts—attentive, friendly, and always immediately there when you needed them. The food? Incredible. We had a variety of small plates and everything was amazing. The wine selection is a real treat too—something for everyone. The ambience ties it all together, striking that perfect balance between stylish and cozy.

What a spectacular hidden gem! Stopped in for wine and snacks and were not disappointed! The oysters and pasta were sensational and excellent service. Can’t wait to visit again!

Came to Maeve as a solo diner (having booked bar seating). Food was incredible, oysters were as stand out, so fresh and their house made hot sauce was divine. Their wine selection was modest but thoughtful, having a great selection of by the glass options which are rotated frequently (as told by the bartender). The service was fantastic. Matthew and Chris were incredible, coming through with great recommendations and hilarious conversation. Will definitely be visiting again.

I really enjoy Maeve. Great friendly service in a bright sun filled area. Plenty of great share plates to share over some great wine options. Will be back again.

Nice decor and friendly dining environment with great service. I like the idea of sharing and minimum order can be only one piece so that we were able to try more dishes. Seafood dishes were great. Steak was a little overcook but the sauce was fantastic and unique. Wine menu could be perfected.

A tragically under-appreciated Brisbane restaurant, in my opinion. Maeve should be mentioned consistently among Brisbane’s best restaurants. Beautiful food, attentive and professional service, great wine list. And the Maeve Coffee Martini is one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had!

Travelled to Brisbane, and had the occasion to catch up with some lovely friends, and wanted good food, wine and a good atmosphere to catch up with friends. Maeve, a revelation. From the outset, Matt served us with warmth, the food is outstanding, there is lots of choices for everyone's tastes. Wine list was very well put together, lots of interesting, small producers from all over. Will be my new staple when in Brisbane. Well worth a journey.

Honestly, every time I go here it just gets better. From the wine list which is always rotating some exquisite drops, to the food which is never less than impressive. Contrary to what I read here in the reviews, the staff are very professional, hard-working and understanding when we’ve ever had a comment or feedback. This is the type of restaurant that Brisbane needs more of.
