The hotel is not a new one but it is comfortable and value for money. The plus value is the big and clean swimming pool where I could enjoy my days when hot doesn’t allow me to go around. Starting from 5 pm local students come here to exercise and swim. Before nobody is around and there is only peace. Breakfast is correct. Staff is beautiful, kind and always smiling. I felt like at home thanks to all of them but a special mention to the lady of the reception speaking English… a wonderful soul ! 🥰🩷🌸

Stayed 3 nights in standard room on 5th floor. Booked via Agoda. Note the walk-in rate was double so book online.||Directly opposite the laneway to bus terminal but about 2km from the centre of town. A 20 minute walk to the night market for excellent local food.||Staff were welcoming despite the lack of English. Yes it's an older hotel catering mostly to Thais. Decorated in Lanna style with lots of wooden carving reflects Phrae as a centre for the teak trade.||Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Good hot water shower. No English TV channels. No hot water kettle in room but available in the lobby.||Breakfast included mostly Asian foods or American breakfast with eggs. Buffet on weekend when there were more guests.||Nice clean swimming pool to cool off. Unfortunately this is also used by local swimming class and gets busy with noisy kids in afternoon.||There are bicycles for rent 100 Bt per day which is good for sightseeing as everything is too far to walk.||Lots of parking at the front.||I had a pleasant stay but would have preferred to be closer to the old town. Phrae is lovely and quiet with many beautiful old teak buildings, a terrific Saturday walking street and lots of great little cafes. Very friendly locals. It doesn't get the hordes of tourists that clog other places

I had a nice stay here at this very centrally located hotel. The rooms were in decent condition and very clean. Air conditioning, hot water in the shower and all outlets worked to perfection. The hotel also offers room service with food or massage. Big and clean swimming pool. The hotel is not new or newly renovated but it’s nice and comfortable and the employees are very sweet and welcoming. The hotel is only a 8 minute walk from Phrae bus terminal and the main restaurant and bar road. Definitely a recommendable place

Very happy and would happily stay again. Easy to find central location. Had some small shops in walking distance for dinner or beverages.. Plenty of parking. Older but big lobby area, big dining area, wide hallway, large rooms. Beautiful wood everywhere. Chairs, carved murals. Room had an entire wall of built in wood for storage, My only issues is as I'm older now the bed is low for me. Difficult for me to stand up. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a tub that is tall. Difficult to step in and out. They had grab bars on the wall that help. The shower is an older fixed style not the flexible style. Water was good pressure and hot and cold knob to adjust tempature. Bathroom also had a bottle opener screwed by the sink. It was clean, staff was friendly and breakfast some items made to order and some bread, ham, cereal, coffee, milk. The pork rice congee soup made to order was big. A meal by itself. Swimming pool looked nice and if I had more time I would use. At check in staff mentioned ask for a pool towel. Do not use the room towel at the pool. If room towel used there was a seperate charge of 300 baht..

The “deluxe” rooms on Agoda are not worth paying extra for, their windows are small and very dirty so you can’t really enjoy the mountain views. Only the corner units (at the end of the corridor) are deluxe rooms, and they don’t have a full set of windows facing out. The room felt dark and dingy on arrival. The shower is above a bath (not safe for people with mobility issues), the bath is not clean, and has a dirty and torn shower curtain. Some room furniture is clearly broken and needs to be repaired or replaced. It is not worth 1,000B per night & I wish I’d stayed somewhere else. The hotel feels bit soul-less and (way) beyond its prime. There are ads for bicycle rental for 100B per day — on enquiry, it turns out they are not available, and old. On the plus side, the room is spacious and the reception staff friendly. Overall, a disappointing experience. Update: incredibly loud, banging drum and bass music at 23:30h on a Saturday night, that’s even audible with earplugs in. You have been warned. Avoid at all cost.

The long-established 6 storey hotel is located in the centre of Phrae city with about 2 km from the Saturday night market and about 1.5 km from Pratu Chai market. Its decoration and tone mainly focus on "Charming east Lanna" plus many carved teak furnitures. Staffs were nice, especially a cutie red fish at the lobby that swam toward us, opened and closed its mouth like talking to us, such a warm welcome! (we were playing with it while checked in & checked out). Our room was on the fourth floor. It was clean and comfortable. Bed runners and pillowcases were traditional Phrae style "Mor Hom". Breakfast was a buffet line with various menus. We had a pleasant experience here. 900 Baht/night was worth spending. Recommend!

A bit tired and old but the price reflects that. The receptionist didn't seem too impressed with me turning up in motorcycle gear but was a bit more welcoming after I had cleaned myself up to visit the pool. I would likely choose another place nice time though. The buffet breakfast in the morning was ok. The pool was quiet at first but is open to the public so it became a bit busy and noisy.
