MAGAZES Greek Restaurant

The owner Stefanos will do his best to enjoy your time spent there. The atmosphere is great, music is on the background and there is baby changing table and mat too. Visited many times on my holidays so had seafood, meat, cooked food and are all top.Being Greek I am a bit picky.

Very good traditional Greek food. The suggestions of the day where excellent (our company tried 3). Very reasonable price as well. Would recommend!

One of the best Greek taverns...and not just on this island! Fabulous Greek Mousaka served there! Grilled meat was excellent and super tasty! This tavern offers a great reason to visit this beautiful island again! The staff was very friendly....

Very good service and knowledgeable staff members. We had good food overall. We appreciated the honesty of the staff on freshness and availability of the fish in the island (in August its prohibited to fish lobsters etc) while some other restaurants are selling frozen seafood for fresh.

Great food, nice owner! Went there for a small lunch and then again for dinner. We enjoyed the moussaka that we bought as take-away for the next day at a lonely anchorage - perfect!

Stefanos is the owner of Magazes Restaurant. Stefanos is the Grandson of mr. Georgiou who in the early 50es on a sailboat of his own design without an engine started from New York USA to end in Athens Greece crossing the Atlantic and Mediterranean. The handmade maps of his are in the 3 photos and hanging inside Magazes Restaurant. Stefanos return to his homebase in Kea some years ago to open Magazes Restaurant. Situated right at the waterfrond in Korissia port in Kea is certainly the best restaurant in the area. From Fresh Fish or steaks superbly cooked to several peculiar plates wonderfully flavoured will satisfy the most demanding guests. To top it, Magazes offers a wide choice of excellent wines and beers. Moderate prices and friendly service will conclude your visit. Highly Suggested.

Very nice tavern with traditional greek dishes. We had fresh fish, exceptional zucchini fritters and salad's. Best restaurant in this area.

Excellent restaurant ; I have been going there for years and the cuisine is even better this year. Really fresh fish (not frozen), dishes prepared with care and a very friendly staff . Great venue on the Korissa harbor promenade as well.
