The highlight of our trip to Penang. Went there on a Tues night, not too crowded. Drinks were delicious, bartender great and singing and guitar just enhanced the ambiance. While we were full we ordered the octopus which was yummy.

Really loud music feels like a club, but there is no dance floor The atmosphere is quite nice and the drinks are pretty good, but for this price I would’ve expected at least the Dancefloor given the type of music that they’re playing

Another Speakeasy bar with a DJ who plays from about 10 pm till the wee hours. The selection of songs ranges from retro to current. I understand that on certain days there will even be a Live Band. We went on a Saturday night, which had DJ music. There was enough space to drink with friends either at the bar counter or tables or you could dance if you wanted to. Personally, I preferred this because of the music. Just a heads up, the place needs a bit of searching. Opposite it, is an open-air carpark. I've attached a video to help.

This is a fun hidden bar to come to, enjoy live music, try creative cocktails, and take in the decor. The staff were super friendly and made great cocktails. Fun place to bring friends. Bathrooms could be nicer/cleaner.

We had an amazing night at Magazine 63 with friends! The cocktails were absolutely delicious—creative mixes with just the right balance of flavors. The lively atmosphere was made even better by the great DJ, whose music kept the energy high all evening. We loved playing with the dice games (such a fun touch!) while soaking in the beautifully decorated space—chic, moody, and perfect for a night out.

Traditional chinese style speakeasy bar. The entrance is quite intimidating, the interior has an industrial vibe. The music is a bit too loud. Drinks are interesting. Good for an experience of a speakeasy.

We discovered a nearby speakeasy bar with a charming and unique ambiance, styled like a traditional Chinese guesthouse, complete with a live band. The cocktail menu was equally intriguing, offering a variety of creative options. I love the not shootable cocktail However, the downside was that smoking is allowed inside, and the place was quite smoky. Unfortunately, the lingering secondhand smoke made us leave sooner than we had hoped, and we left with the smell of smoke on us. Therefore rated low for the atmosphere
