Magic Tree Bookstore

My daughter and I walked into this bookstore, two ladies were behind the counter. Having been in the store for well over 5 mins, no one even acknowledged that we were there. Not a hello, thanks for stopping in, what can I help you with, what can I help you find, NONE of it! My daughter proceeds to the back, having never been inside this bookstore, I asked one of the ladies if she could assist in finding a particular book. She did walk over to the area, but never directly showed myself or daughter the books in question. At this point I was livid, I instructed my daughter to put the book down that she wanted to purchase! I also told her we would not be spending any of my hard earned money in this establishment! This was a very unfortunate experience dealing with such rude, unwelcoming, and formost an utter lack of customer service, not only for myself, but for my 9 year old daughter! However; I was able to teach my daughter a very valuable lesson that is to NEVER spend your money in places that you're not appreciated!

Great curation of children's books (plus some adult books, too!) and wonderful service. They can also order any books they don't have in store. Joining the membership program gets you 10% off.

Great selection of children's books and if they don't have what you're looking for, they are quick to offer to order it for you, free of charge. They also offer Teacher Discounts! Highly recommended.

A great children's book store with books for Mom and Dad too. They have a good selection and knowledgeable staff who can help you find books for you kids or recommend one for presents etc. There are many personal recommendations for books that the staff have written which I find helpful as well.

I pop in here all the time to peruse the books. There is a great children's selection and they are very friendly. Always have a positive experience.

Very nice people that work here. It's a peaceful and very clean and spacious environment. Their prices are great! 1st visit and def will come back now that I'm a member!!
