Our stay at Magma was fantastic! Perfect location. Roberto and Chiara are wonderful and super helpful and knowledgeable. The vibe at Magma is perfect. It's a guest house, so you're bound to meet a few folks also staying there, and, the place itself is SO COOL that you just want to be there. Even tho the city is wild and amazing. It's a little hard to describe the different rooms (all decorated by local artists, and all spectacular, seriously) just trust them to put you in one, and stay long enough where you can move around if you like, or not! It's just the best. Hands down, would recommend to anyone.

We had a really wonderful stay at Magma Home. This was our first visit to Naples and we couldn’t have asked for a more kind and welcoming introduction to the city than that given to us by Roberto. He was in contact as soon as we made the booking, giving recommendations on where to visit, eat and drink. He also organised our transfer to and from the airport which was amazing. Magma is a stones throw from the Museo Archeologico Napoli making it easy to navigate to and from anywhere in the city on foot. The home itself is beautiful, quiet and secure. Our room faced the street with its own small balcony. The best feature however are the terraces available to guests. Breakfast is served from 8am and there’s a delicious selection every morning and we really appreciated the fresh coffee made for us each day. Hands down the best part of breakfast is being able to enjoy it on the roof terrace/oasis and look out to stunning views of the city and Vesuvius. A fabulous stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Our room and the staff were excellent. The Breakfast was good. The hike up from the street and 4 flights of stairs, not so great. Area is a little rough, but there are street light at night. This is a 5 star for people under 40, and a 3 to 4 star for older adults. The rooftop terrace was very nice at night and in the morning for breakfast. I would have given it a five if we had a small refrigerator in our room. It was hot and we were craving cold water. We ended up buying a lot more water than we should have, even though Naples water is ok.

This is a lovely arty boutique hotel. Very cool interior design with lots of quirky features and street art in the walls. We had such a lovely welcome when we arrived. It’s in a central location with easy walking to all attractions. Breakfast was lovely with lots of homemade cakes. The rooftop was very nice with a great view of Vesuvius. The room was spacious and quiet with a good power shower. I would recommend this and would stay again.

Unique and charming oasis of hospitality and tranquility amid the hustle and bustle of Napoli. Perfect location to visit the Museo and everything else you’d want to see. Roberto and Sunnita and Miguel took care of everything we needed while we were there. Breakfast on the stunning rooftop and drinks on same at night were highlights. Be advised that it’s on the top floor and there is no elevator and that it’s on a Neapolitan street — hauling baggage here without a taxi is challenging. But worth it! A dopo!

Went on a family vacation and stayed in Naples for four days. Our rooms were beautiful and creative, the beds were comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the common areas were all wonderfully decorated. The standouts were the breakfast, made fresh every morning, and the fact that our laundry was done for us. We always had fresh towels, and rooms were cleaned daily. All of that is without mentioning the rooftop area with tons of places to sit, excellent views, and gorgeous greenery. Was super walkable to the Old City of Naples, as well as many other cool museums and restaurants. Could not recommend more highly.

Great location, walkable to Centro Storico, Catacombs, metro, and it is right by the archeological museum. Roberto was helpful with consulting on plans. I before getting to Italy, I tried asking a question through the Expedia app, but didn’t get a response. I found this email online, info@magmahome.it, emailed and then we corresponded through WhatsApp. Magma Home connected us with Sabrina for an EASY, affordable pick up from the airport. You could maybe arrange with Sabrina for private transportation to Pompeii.|Good breakfast (bread, cheese, meat, tomatoes, 2 sweet pastry types, mini croissants, yogurt, toast and jam, 2-3 types of fruits, coffee, juice). Fairly quiet. Great rooftop patio (you can bring your breakfast). 2nd and 3rd floor and 4th for roof (Americans add one floor to each of those). Not sure of bed size, but husband and I were comfortable and we are used to a king. Mattress is quite firm. If you are walking the areas around Magma home, there are a number of hills and stairs. In hindsight, Naples was my favorite part of the trip (we also visited Amalfi, Ravello, Capri, Ischia, and Sorrento).

Our visit to Naples was greatly enhanced by our stay at Magma Homes! What a place! Situated in a perfect part of the city, not too close to the build up areas, but still close enough to walk around and get back with any need to public transport. As soon as we booked our stay we were instantly contact via WhatsApp by the hotel manager, who is awesome!! He sent us links to surrounding area attractions and places to eat so we could start planning our trip before we even left our home. We also took advantage of their trusted taxi service from the airport to the hotel and back again! It cost us 25 euros each way and is paid for in cash. But what a relief to get driven by a trusted local. Always confirm your name when being collected. The rooms are beautiful and have access to a couple shared spaces; kitchen, rooftop terrace and an attic lounge. You are truly looked after by kind staff who will honestly look after you.
