Magna Quies Bed and Breakfast

We love this cosy bed and breakfast! Quiet and peaceful. Always a warm friendly welcome. We have stayed several times as a first stopover from the UK heading south or last stop on the way back. Conveniently located on the Avenue de Champagne to visit the champagne producers to taste great champagnes and near the centre of Épernay for dinner. Simple, delicious breakfast with fresh croissants and baguette. Be prepared for the squeaky floors!

It was amazing! Very friendly host, good breakfast , amazing view and beautiful rooms! The major champagne houses are within walking distance, so it really is a top location. |It was a Experience to stay in our memories for ever!! We will definitely come back again , and we will recommend it to everyone.

Our stay was AMAZING! Our family split between Magna Quies and Parva Domus down the road. 7 of us were in Magna Quies and we had a wonderful stay. From the very beginning, communication was clear and Francois and his family were helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was served when we requested and it was very easy to come and go as we pleased. In addition to the B&B being fantastic, the location could not have been better. You are right on the Avenue de Champagne and across from all of the champagne houses. I cannot recommend this accommodation enough and we are so grateful to Francois for making our visit to Epernay hassle-free and memorable. I cannot recommend more highly!

Magna Quies was the perfect place to stay for our group of 5, as we were able to book all 3 rooms for our 4 night stay in Epernay. All correspondence during booking and prior to arriving was all answered quickly which was greatly appreciated. We received a very warm welcome from Francois upon arrival and received a tour of the rooms, plus providing us with a list of local restaurants and the offer to assist with anything that we needed. Francois provided a fantastic breakfast each morning at whatever time we requested. There was beautiful, freshly baked baguettes and croissants each morning, plus boiled eggs, meats and cheese, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, jams etc......we didn't need to eat lunch! The location of the property is fantastic - an easy 10/15min walk into the centre of Epernay, and what a walk it is down one the most famous and majestic streets in the world. Staying on the Avenue de Champagne makes the time spent in Epernay truly memorable – if you are Champagne lover, you will think you are in heaven! All of the family members that we met were delightful to deal with plus the family dog, Pasha, who we gladly would have taken with us! This B&B was perfect for my husband and me, hoping to be centrally located in Epernay! It is a short walk to the town center, but surrounded by Champagne tasting rooms! We were here in September, 2018, at the tail end of harvest season! Francois took such great care of us! He was very helpful in recommendations and helped with our laundry needs. We felt like royalty having breakfast in the dining room, overlooking an old castle tower. There are only 3 rooms to book, which makes it really special. While our room was on the front of the building, it was very quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable. The shower room is in the middle of the 2 bedrooms, which might be a little awkward for a family, but perfect for a couple. I would highly recommend this little gem, and hope that we can return someday soon! Thank you for everything, Francois!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is right on the avenue de champagne so extremely convenient to all the local houses. The house itself is beautiful, gorgeous architecture and decor and a very welcoming feel. Our host was wonderful, meeting us for check in and even though we were the only ones staying at the time putting out a full beautiful breakfast everyday (fresh croissants, breads, meat/cheese, fruit, yogurt, cereal... anything you could want). He was friendly and welcoming and made us feel very at home here in Epernay. We had some bad luck coming during a heat wave but he did his best to help us keep our rooms cool by bringing up fans. Overall, a wonderful stay and great part of our trip. If I’m back in this region I would love to stay here again.

We stayed here before and we will again! Francois invites you into his charming and beautiful home, offers you Champagne (own production! which became one of our favorites, EVER!), great breakfast, big & clean rooms, advice, smiles ... it won't get any better. You are in walking distance to anything in the small town of Epernay which is great if you think about tasting(s)! Located in the vineyards you are not far from other fabulous villages. Meeting other guests over (excellent!) breakfast is fun and enriching. Reasonably priced. Great comfort and service! Aloha et Merci, Francois!

Great place to stay, very comfortable and the host was awesome and accommodative . The location was amazing, just a brisk walk to the town center, we left around 7 am and the host Francois had a nice breakfast spread laid out for us. Thank you so much for a great time
