Very friendly, great hot mocha, quaint little shop inside to order coffee and look around, and the bus outside is where they cook the food. A great Highwayman Burrito. 😊 Really nice set up and outdoor area to sit, relax and meet new people like Sara and Sean (cyclists from KY). Thank you, I had a nice first

Google
So incredibly good. They had a great variety of options, including vegan and veggie options. I had the Southern Belle and it was the best burrito I've had in a long time. Nice atmosphere also.

Google
This is the place to eat in Escalante! Delicious, savory, well-balanced, flavorful burritos that are the size of a small baby. The Magnolia burrito is insane—sweet potatoes, spanish rice, pinto, mushrooms, and sharp goat cheese that comes together beautifully. There are power outlets on the outdoor patio if you need to charge your devices. If you’re hungry driving through Escalante, you won’t be disappointed by Magnolia’s!

Google
We stopped there after a bike ride for two delicious burritos (the LouBird's vegan one and the Sweet Magnolia). Their naturally flavored aqua fresca was really good and not too sweet. The space is super cute and we were happy to encourage a small local business. We strongly recommend if you are passing through this town!

Magnolia’s Kitchen is a delightful restaurant that’s as unique as it is delicious. With the kitchen inside a renovated old school bus, and the seating spread out around the grounds, this place offers a dining experience like no other. The menu is a creative masterpiece, featuring dishes that are both adventurous and flavorful, every bite is a journey of taste. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a touch of nostalgia that takes you back to simpler times. The staff is super friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and pop in for breakfast, or lunch, or both (which I did), you won't regret it!

Excellent Craft food and beverage. Worth the wait. Not a quick stop, but to get quality you have to make time for it. Would recommend.

Eat here. Burritos blew my mind! Liked it so much we ate there every day during our stay. This is hands down the best breakfast burrito I have had. Fresh ingredients great services super nice staff and owners. Shaded and sunny places to eat. Dog friendly. Great coffee puts this place over the top. And if you like french fries try the loaded fry dishes. TO. DIE. FOR! And if you’re lucky you can grab a spud-nut donut that will leave you wanting more. Liked it so much i bought a hat. Things you have to try are the chili-catsup, and the habanero sauce but mix it 1/2 with green sauce. You can thank me later!

Google
This place is absolutely amazing and worth the stop! We got the garden fries (the crunchy kale in this dish is absolutely INSANE - super fresh and delicious), the sweet magnolia burrito and veggie taco. Not only is this place so cute with great art, decor, and lots of fun colours, the food is SO good. I wish they had more locations closer to SLC. There are lots of tables outside - they have picnic tables with umbrellas outside and also have a fully covered and shaded area with seating. I would highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Came here early afternoon on our way to Torrey. I had the Loubird's vegan burrito with sweet potatoes, mushrooms, sautéed cabbage and pickled onions, and pinto beans. Very tasty. My BF had the Piccadillo burrito minus the cheese, with local spiced ground beef, pickled jalapeños & carrots, and he really enjoyed. We also got a side of fries which were very good, skin on. This is a charming place, you order from the cute cottage and collect your food from the turquoise blue chevy Bluebird bus. We sat outside on the patio with shade from a converted barn like shed. Service was great as well. Would highly recommend this place. There also a cute little gift shop with lovely local art and clothing on sale.

Yelp
We loved our lunch stop at Magnolia's Kitchen! It's absolutely worth stopping to grab a bite to eat on your way to or from Bryce Canyon. We each enjoyed the pork and beef burritos which were full of flavor and fresh. I loved the pickled veg in my pork burrito - it gave so much flavor and just the right amount of crunch. My son enjoyed their aqua fresca which was so refreshing and they brewed my lovely day iced tea right in front of me and it was so delicious! The guy who took our order was super friendly too and the food came out pretty quick. There's also a great little gift shop in there too if you are looking for a memento of your trip! Definitely would love to come back here - it was so great!

Yelp
The food was mid for the price. One of the highest priced places in town, even if it does use locally sourced ingredients. Others nearby also do this and charge a third the price. You can tell a lot of love goes into the food as it's cooked but don't expect to get out of here fast. Plan for a longer meal.

Yelp
Cute place off Scenic Byway 12. You order inside then wait outside by the bus where they make your food. Plenty of free parking and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Wait time was about 30mins. Burritos are a lot bigger than they look in pictures. I didn't think one burrito would be filling for my husband but he left feeling full.

Dave M.

Yelp
Very good burritos. Super large. Took them to go in the way to canyons. Coffee very good. This is our second time coming here.

Roy K.

Yelp
Great funky little place Great coffee Incredible French fries. Tacos Fun ambiance with covered outside tables

Yelp
Awesome taco spot! Friendly staff. Thank you Yelpers for recommending! Taco portions are generous :)

Yelp
We had the Cubano sandwich and it was delicious. I'd put it up there with the best we've had. The house made kimchi on it was the chef's kiss. It was loaded with ham and carnitas and the holding device, a panini like bread, was perfect with just the right amount of crunch and not too much bread for the sandwich.

Jody D.

Yelp
10 stars! The red dirt girl sandwich is one of the best things I ever ate. Local sausage. Kale & onions. 2 eggs. Goat cheese. Ciabatta. I would drive back to Escalante just to get breakfast.

Ron M.

Yelp
Really nice people and great food. Loved the mushroom and sweet potato burrito. Homemade hot sauce was fantastic!
google avatar

Yelp
OMG YUM! Garden fries and Cuban were my favorite. Tacos are unfortunately a skip... Definitely California prices here, but considering how remote the location is and the quality of food they serve, I say it's worth it. Good service and very cute shop wares. Nice drinks, too! Wholeheartedly recommend, if you got the cash.
google avatar

Yelp
Very cute place with lots of outdoor seating with shade and pretty landscaping. There is a nice clean restroom and cute little gift shop in the store. The service was prompt and friendly. They are open till 2pm.
google avatar

Yelp
I really liked his unique the venue itself was. You order in the building and get your food from the bus. There is plenty of outdoor seating. Staff was incredibly friendly and passionate about what they do. They have three sauces that range in spice level. The spicy habanero has a real kick! My sweet magnolia burrito hit the spot after a long day of hiking in the area.

Yelp
After a short visit at the Anasazi museum, Magnolia's was a welcome offering right outside the door in the parking lot. An old converted school bus offering fresh and tasty food for all. We had a big breakfast and no lunch, so we decided to order. Went with a mix of tacos for mom and dad and burritos for the kids. The sweet potato burritos were huge and my kids liked them a lot. Our tacos of pork, sweet potato, and beef also hit the spot. They came with several flavors of sauces and the hot was hot, the cool was cool. We also got some pork fries and we couldn't finish those even though they were so good. For drinks we had water and San Pellegrino. We had to eat in the car instead of the outdoor picnic tables as the wind was howling constantly. $100 including tip for five tacos, two burritos, fries, and drinks. The freshness of the food and taste were amazing.

Yelp
Stopped here before a backpacking trek and got some espresso and breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was so hearty and flavorful. We enjoyed it so much we stopped by after the trek, to get a vanilla latte and their spin on a Cuban sandwich, with kim chi. It was a nice fusion! This place is a gem. I'm so glad we stopped here, and will definitely come back when in Escalante.

Joshua M.

Yelp
The burritos were amazing!! They also make the food out of a school bus, how cool and original. Seemed kinda sketchy at first because it was off the side of the road and no one was there but you would not be disappointed with the quality of food that they serve. The people were also so kind and amazing and would go again if I ever pass through Escalante, Utah.

Thomas P.

Yelp
Excellent food!! Small place, vey cool. Delicious!. Ate outdoors. Loved everything about this place.

Andrea W.

Yelp
We ordered a breakfast burrito and split it. The food was really good. Next time I'm trying the Kimchi tacos!

Roy S.

Yelp
We had a great breakfast experience here 4/2/24. If you are fortunate enough to see a 'spudnut' in the display buy it. Be sure to ask about it's history. My breakfast burrito was the best I've ever had. My wife and son both say that their breakfast sandwiches were their favorites. This isn't fast food, but it's great food and worth the wait. Great people, outside seating, nothing fancy, but worth the price.
google avatar

Lou P.

Yelp
Best breakfast burrito I have ever had. Fresh ingredients, generous portions. I will go out of my way to visit again.

Yelp
Amazing stop! Drove up here after doing the Lower Calf Creek hike because of a recommendation from another hiking group and it was so good! Very vegetarian friendly. I got the magnolia tacos (yams, mushroom, goat cheese) and would highly recommend them!

Virginia B.

Yelp
The best pork fries and tacos ever!! And gluten free!!! Beautiful location and awesome service. It's a must do every time we're in the area. YUM

Emily C.

Yelp
Incredible! I got the burrito with sweet potato, goat cheese and roasted vegetables. I live in Florida and want to make a quick trip back for this amazing burrito. 10/10 would recommend Magnolia's.

Yelp
Highlight: - Definitely dropby if you're driving through. - Food is freshly made with wholesome ingredients. - Be prepared to wait though. If you're driving through, definitely drop by. This restaurant is a very casual Food-truck type of vibe where you can either eat on some outdoor benches or take it togo. My wife and I ordered the Picadillo burrito. A twist to the typical Mexican style burrito with rice, beans, fajita mix, and a flavorful seasoned ground beef. While the service is good, be prepared to wait a long time to actual get the food.

Yelp
Recently came across this truck on a road trip with my daughter. I'd been struggling to find good vegan eats in some of the places we'd stayed up to this point in the trip. Possibly the best Vegan burrito I've ever had. The combination of flavors was basically heaven and it melted in my mouth. This burrito was hearty, satisfying and delicious. Also the man who took our order was very sociable and made us feel at home right there in the parking lot. Boulder is a beautiful town to stay in and, although I'd never heard of it before planning for this trip, it has become one of the highlights of our trip - partly due to this food truck I found on yelp.
google avatar

J M.

Yelp
As good a food truck as you'll ever find pretty much anywhere. Stopped by on a whim on a Saturday morning back in October, passing through on a roadtrip (this corner of Utah is spectacular and absolutely worth the time & effort, btw) and wow am I glad I did. The kimchi breakfast tacos were mindblowing - perfectly spicy and satisfying what with its fried egg, pickled veg, and cotija cheese. Equally amazing was the corn tortillas the ingredients were nestled in. They tasted like they were made that morning, with that deep maiz-y flavor. I'd gladly eat these every weekend. There was also a tiny farmer's market next door - big recommend there too! Picked up some fresh baked goodies at one stall and a handmade sage smudge... kit(?) at another. It smelled good is all I know. Really cool folks.

Yelp
I couldn't believe the quality of food in Boulder, a pretty tiny town. Magnolia's was no exception. Before heading out for a long drive, we stopped at Magnolia's for breakfast. They had a variety of burritos (both vegetarian and meaty) as well as tacos and a breakfast sandwich. I loved the kimchi tacos - at two to an order, they were stuffed with delicious cauliflower, onion, and cabbage kimchi. They were huge, but I could have easily eaten more before my stomach realized it was too full. They were SO good. The fries are not to be missed either! Magnolia's is located right next to a museum, so you can use their restrooms. The place the bus is parked has plenty of tables in the shade and sun.

Yelp
We were driving along Utah Scenic Byway 12 and saw a bright teal food truck- it spoke to our souls! We grabbed an order of Picadillo loaded fries- it was ready in a jiffy and we enjoyed it on the picnic tables scattered around the food truck. So delicious and a portion large enough for two!
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! We had the Magnolia burrito and the Picadillo burrito with kimchi added. Both were just perfect. We will probably have to stop again to get some to take with us when we drive by on the way out of the area in a few days.

Yelp
What a great place to eat when you're passing through Grand Staircase-Escalante on your way to Capitol Reef. It's located in the parking lot of the Anasazi State Park visitor center, and is in the form of a green bus. The pulled pork burrito is amazingly savory and filling, and the root beer float is just the refreshing thing to have on a hot day.
google avatar

Lynsker S.

Yelp
This was an unexpected find! We went to visit the Ruins and it was parked outside. We were delighted with there tacos and enjoyed them sitting at a picnic bench, outside. It was a wonderful surprise and recommend a stop if you are up there. Beautiful scenic drive to get there.

Yelp
This Place is the bomb! Best food I've had in Utah in a week. This is a must stop. Especially if you're on Highway 12 it was the highlight of our drive. Super friendly staff, and the Cuban sandwich was the best I've ever had. Will definitely come back even from California.

Riley M.

Yelp
Great food! Great vibes! Lovely meadow to sit at with picnic tables! The people are so friendly and gave us so many hike/drive/look out recommendations!
google avatar

Stevi H.

Yelp
I ordered the southern belle burrito without the tortilla, (naked) and my husband ordered the red dirt girl sandwich. Both were amazing. The service was friendly and although it was not quick, it was totally worth the wait. So good! It was fun to play in the park and see people come and go out of the museum thats there. We went to the museum a couple days ago and the bus was closed so we made a point to come back. It's definitely worth the stop if you're in the area.
google avatar

Tiff P.

Yelp
Looking forward to this place to reopen! Food is awesome and the concept is great! We ordered a variety of meals to try and loved everything. Little Bit pricey but worth every cent!!
google avatar

Janet K.

Yelp
I would give this place six stars if Yelp would let me. After a morning spent hiking The lower falls trail at Calf Creek, we needed food. I saw Magnolia's five-star rating and was sold. Fresh chips and guacamole, a piccadillo burrito, and two tacos--one pork and one to-die-for sweet potato and goat cheese--later, and we're back on the road. This food is definitely a highlight of our trip! PS: Thanks to the museum for providing restrooms gratis. If you go but aren't going to pay the entrance fee and see the exhibits, create good karma by making a small donation.

Yelp
Found this cute bus/food truck when we went to the Anasazi Museum. It wasn't lunchtime, but the menu items looked so good, my friend and I decided to split a Piccadillo Burrito. It was the best burrito either of us had had in ages, maybe ever, and served with a smile! Lots of the good stuff in it, like meat and veggies, not a bunch of filler like rice. The tortilla had been lightly browned, and the meat had delicious seasoning.
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Always wanted to write a review on yelp but never had that extra something to write one until today. We were visiting the Anasazi museum and came across a cool looking food truck located right in their parking lot. My fiancé and I were so hungry that we had to check it out. We ordered the picadillo burrito. Probably the best burrito I've ever had. Although the flavors in the burrito were on point, the special salsa and hot sauce complimented the burrito perfectly. Amazing fresh food and their ingredients are local sustainable food. We also had company of their two cute dogs Frank and Serena. Definitely coming back here when we visit Utah.
google avatar

Vivek V.

Yelp
This is food truck serving Mexican Street food and all day breakfast. Friendly service and outdoor picnic tables. Mild to super hot salsa. We had loaded fried that were super loaded and tasty. Plenty for two.

Nikhil K.

Yelp
The food was just magnificent! I had a veggie burrito and was pleasantly surprised how tasty it was. My wife had ground beef taco and it reminded her of her grandma's cooking. I would love to have their burritos and tacos every day if I could! :-D
google avatar

Lee Ann W.

Yelp
We could not bring ourselves to eat the standard motel breakfast buffet, so we looked on Yelp and saw Magnolia's on our way from Torrey to Bryce Canyon. What a neat little place. It was a beautiful morning, and we split a Southern Belle burrito. Oh my. It's tucked away in the parking lot of a state park and museum. Very unusual. We loved it.
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
Just, wow! The food was delicious. The green chili hotdog was awesome, and the Carnitas tacos were delicious. I have a feeling everything from this food truck is great. The picnic benches in the green grassy field are wonderful as well and there's great shade from the trees. Just a really pleasant dining experience... It's not the cheapest food truck I've ever seen, but it's so so worth a stop!
google avatar

Eileen H.

Yelp
They offer build your own breakfast burrito with tons of options and delicious coffee! Lots of outdoor seating and plenty of parking. Service is super friendly too. Worth a stop if you are passing through. Breakfast goes til 4 pm.
google avatar

Adam T.

Yelp
Just amazing. Took a chance. Didn't read the reviews before pulling this up and seeing the 5 star reviews. I'm not surprised one bit!

Emily D.

Yelp
This place is a little food bus gem of fresh, delicious, high quality tacos and food (garden fries, yum!). Everything tastes homemade... great salsas too. We are Utah bred, but live in SoCal and travel to Mexico often, and can say this place is legit. Nice kiddo menu options & jamaica drink is refreshing. Lovely shaded green area outside the museum with trees and tables to eat at and little park for kids to play.
google avatar

W C.

Yelp
Amazing fresh food with amazing service. Big portions and a must stop through Boulder. Even if your not hungry, stop for the fries and share among yourselves.

Kristin L.

Yelp
We first ate lunch here in '18 and having been dreaming of the Piccadillo Tacos every since then. We finally got back up to Boulder (which is a very cool little town) and we were not disappointed at all!!! We had a mix of both the tacos (Picadillo and The Carlos), fries, and the Loaded Fries with a side of kimchee. We loved it all! Try The Carlos taco with kimchee added to it, so tasty! You can't miss the turquoise painted bus at the Anasazi Museum (which is awesome to visit too, don't forget to check out the ruins behind it). There's a nice grassy area and plenty of picnic tables to enjoy your breakfast or (and? because I could definitely have two meals in a day here!) lunch on. Everyone was wearing masks, social distancing and they have hand sanitizer for everyone to use. Oh!!! And they sell their hot sauce in bottles so you can take some of the love home with you! Stop by and try a taco or two! We can't wait to be back!!!

Yelp
This place settled on top of a mountain has some of he best breakfast burritos I've ever had. Also, the peach Agua Fresca they had on special was transcendent.
