Mago - Parrilla de Mercado

We have absolutely fallen in love with this spot! We came on our first night in Buenos Aires. We are here for two month and we have already come back twice. The staff are extremely kind and the chef is so friendly! They put care into all of the food and details. We will be back more for sure!

Disappointing overall. Came in to a nice vibe and welcoming staff. Took a very long time to get apps, a good 45 minutes. Then another hour before the mains arrived. Stupid long waits for food. They left out part of the order and substituted a main dish with an inferior protein. 135usd for two apps two mains, only water. Not worth it, left hangry.

Mago Resto a superb restaurant in Belgrano a nice neighborhood of Buenos Aires. A hand picked menu, including meat, fish, pasta, great sides and outstanding desserts. The decor is trendy and the tables beautifully set with white crisp linen tablecloths and napkins . For dinner we had a fresh green salad, and a Provoletta grilled cheese. As mains we had a steak, and house made potato gnocchi with pink sauce. Before we chose dessert the Chef Victoria Santos came to the table to introduce herself and to give us some feedback about the restaurant and brought as a courtesy some special sweets she prepared for Easter. We expressed our gratitude for the amazing meal. Then we ordered for dessert a Flan de Dulce de Leche, the typical Argentinian Crème Caramel Custard, and Caramelized Pears, heavenly desserts. We thank Oriana for the great service. We definitely recommend this restaurants. Five stars plus! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+

Went here for the first time and it was so delicious! The waiter was so nice and even spoke a little english to me. I got the cesar salad with longostinos and the dressing was the best i’ve ever had! Best parilla in Belgrano, maybe all of BA for the quality to price ratio. Service, which is a weak point even in finer establishments, was exemplary. Attentive without being obtrusive, made great recommendations on sides and appetizers to pair with our Asado Americano main course.

We have had amazing meals at Mago. It one of our favorite restaurants in Buenos Aires. The service is extraordinary, better than any restaurant I have been to in Argentina (been to several provinces). Our favourite server is Agustin. Occasionally they have a special menu and it’s a great deal if you eat meat because you get a 3 course meal with wine pairings at a significantly lower price! The decor is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the food/wine are divine!

MAGO is awesome!! Sometimes, Buenos Aires give you the opportunity to find places to enjoy the best of our “parrilla”, and the guys make you feel incredible!! You can miss it, try the “mollejas” and the “ribeye brows” with a good Pinot Noir.

A grate place to eat a very good meat ,the service was wonderful!!! and the location perfect!!!
