The cafe below has changed hands but the restaurant above is still going and is fantastic. Varied and tasty vegan food plate with awesome tempeh, rice, edamame beans and grilled vegetables. All the very good. Homemade kombucha was too sweet for my palate. Friendly service and good views across beach.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch with a amazing view. The food was incredibly fresh and well thought out. Pricing is on point and the service was amazing.

I love this place for the amazing location and view. Very convenient to bring friends and customers when in Kamakura. However, the other day I went for lunch and the vege lunch (which I liked a lot in the past) set was pretty tasteless on this specific day and the vegetables were rubbery and undercooked. The vege gyoza and vege spring rolls were great though. Next time I’ll probably stick with sides until they make a better vegan set. I remember the curry was pretty good too though. And the dessert was yum! I haven’t tried the drinks but they look fun. And the staff is super nice!

Beautiful view of the beach. You can sit here and eat and watch people outside. We had the cakes and fries. Fries were perfect but the cake was a little dry.

This restaurant is in front of beach of Kamakura. We stay there in the evening and we toke a plate by lunch menù. The menu was all vegan and some of dishes was gluten free. Very good piece of cake with fruit. We were happier for the taste and the service.

Really great location and view, and cozy hipster place with chill atmosphere. There are a lot of hemp choices for vegans, the staff is friendly and laid back, main issue was only a brief language barrier. The food was extremely good, the cake was delicious and if it weren’t just a tiny expensive portion I would’ve ordered a second one. The menu doesn’t have a vegan symbol next to the items. It is mostly easy to discern by reading ingredients, but for example 2 dishes which were described in a general way were made with fish. This was explained by the staff as I asked, with patience and care, but I think having symbols for quick choice and avoiding the one vegan customer just ordering and not asking further beforehand would be good. Be also mindful not to come too late. As they don’t have unlimited reserves of food and it’s a very valued restaurant. I would give only two recommendations to the owners: slightly bigger portions and indicating on the menu with a symbol which dishes are vegan, otherwise great place to continue or conclude your trip to Kamakura!

Bright and airy beachfront restaurant, serving health-conscious food. Their vegan set was delicious and hearty. It included fried tempeh, whole grain rice, miso soup, potato salad, and various salads and vegetables. It was a bit pricey at 2500 yen, and they don’t accept credit cards. Although the closing time is listed as 8pm on Google, they seem to stop taking customers around 7:15pm or so, although they were kind enough to let me in.

Really delicious and healthy food served by friendly staff with great sea views! Such relaxing atmosphere.

This restaurant is one of my favorite in the world! The food is very delicious and unique. The majority of the dishes are prepared with hemp, which is pretty awesome. There are several great vegan, vegetarian, and seafood options. There's something here for everyone. The restaurant is on the second floor of a building overlooking the water. We actually found it by accident just walking around looking for somewhere to eat. They have an english menu as well, which was great for us. We shared several dishes while we were there, including the Hemp Curry Plate (curry, brown rice, side salad, hemp pickles), Hemp Spring Rolls (baby sardine and seasonal vegetables), Magokoro Hemp Coleslaw Salad, and Hemp Fried Potato (we had the Harb Soy Cheese ones). We both ordered hot green tea, as well. I consider this one of the best meals I've ever had! Aside from the restaurant, there is a small gift shop inside with some really cool hemp stuff. Little accessories, crafts, bags, etc. It was great! The staff was very kind and helpful!

I am writing about the 1F standing bar - not the restaurant upstairs. Great place for a bar - right across the street from Sagami Bay. This was the first --and probably last-- time I tried a natto omlette! The space is small, so it is easy to socialize the others at the bar.

This place rocks. It's got a laid back ethereal surfer vibe but the food is awesome!! They play reggae and have great views of the beach and water. Came on a rainy day and it was still great. Staff was very friendly and seem to take pride in what they do. Food was really, really good.

I stumbled on this place with a few friends while we were visiting in the area. The food was superb, the staff was very friendly and informative and the view was to die for. I will definitely try to go back and visit the next time I am back in the city.

Highly recommend if you're in the Kamakura area. The curry is fantastic. We also tried the fish plate which was really good. The views of the beach were also amazing. Everyone was super helpful and spoke great English!

Hip. Hemp. Beach view. Nice staff, one of them spoke English! They had an English menu too. Food was good, and revolves around hemp and organic. The atmosphere overall was very easy-going, is this the usual by the beach? Not that I mind, it was just a little unexpected. Note that the place is upstairs. I walked right past it the first time.

Found this place after a day of hiking and loved it! Peaceful and tasty. Like bed all the hemp options and the view of the water made it even better. It made our trip even better.

Food was great. All hemp based. Homemade drinks were good too, recommend the ginger ale. Atmosphere was great.

I stumbled upon this place after a long day, and it just happened to be salsa night! Not that, but they had great food, cute stuff for sale, and the people there were so nice & welcoming! I won't ever forget my evening at this place... It was raining like crazy and finding this place was like a saving cozy haven right on the water. Perfect way to end my Kamakura experience.

I had hemp curry plate, which was heavenly. The food, atmospheric interior, and the ocean view made for an experience we will not soon forget.
