The staff was attentive and ensured that every detail of our experience was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, with a focus on vibrant, tropical flavors that perfectly complement the relaxed, island-style atmosphere. Every bite felt like a little taste of paradise! I ordered the shrimp curry, and it was absolutely delicious; full of rich, bold flavors. I also tried the Painkiller cocktail, which was both strong and incredibly tasty, definitely a drink that delivers. Our waiter was very accommodating and even allowed us to film our content, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this spot to others.

We came to Mahala for brunch and had a fantastic experience. The space is stylish and inviting, perfect for a relaxing weekend outing with friends or family. The brunch menu had something for everyone—a thoughtful mix of local flavors and classic favorites with a twist. I tried the eggs Benedict with local Swiss cheese, served on a Panamanian tortilla instead of the usual English muffin. That change elevated the dish in a really unique way—crispy, flavorful, and more connected to the local culinary culture. It was very good, and I’d definitely order it again. We also tried a few other items to share (including some cocktails and coffee), and everything was consistent—great flavors, fresh ingredients, and beautifully plated. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the pace was just right for a laid-back brunch. All in all, Mahala was a great find—perfect for a relaxed outing with delicious food that celebrates local flair. Highly recommended if you're in Panama City and looking for a quality brunch spot.

I really liked the outdoor patio. The drinks and the service were ok. The servers didn't come around enough outside and I had to flag them down more than once. But the 3-star rating is for the food. Really average. The smash burger was surprisingly dry. Not hot, greasy, and cheesy. It was kinda stale, if that's the right word to use.

My husband and I had a great breakfast here at Mahalo, it’s a walkable restaurant here in casco viejo. The atmosphere is very peaceful, the food is delicious and the service was good. I ordered the classic breakfast and my husband ordered the chicken and waffles, both delicious.

Great restaurant for having some breakfast or brunch. The staff are amazing. Food is good. They made sure we had a good seating area. If you're in Panama, this place is a must

Amazing patio for escaping the heat. The service is top notch and attentive. We had the pleasure of meeting Franklin. He was delightful. We only had the fries and chicken flautas, good but the fries needed salt. Great spot for relaxing awhile in the late afternoon with a book.

We had the Lox Toast, Huevos al montuno, cappuccino,French toast and a green smoothie. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection and brought out at the ideal temperature and fast. The service was excellent. This place satisfied everything on our list. Decor, cleanliness, happy, quality ingredients and the cappuccino were not over extracted, they were perfect.
