Mahesh Lunch Home has been blessing Fort with the freshest Mangalorean and Konkani seafood since 1977. They show you the raw lobster before transforming it with loads of garlic and butter — rich, indulgent, and perfectly cooked. The squid in ghee roast is bold and full of flavor, with just the right amount of heat. And the spicy, crisp Koliwada-style prawns? Easily the best beer snack you could ask for. Service is quick, the staff knows their seafood, and the old-school vibe only adds to the charm. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality more than makes up for it. A must-visit if you love coastal Indian food done right.

Ordered pomfret tandoori and kings prawns both were amazing. This restaurant is jn historic fort area and the quality of food is still amazing as always was

Food was good and also the service, meat items were delicious, prawns curry wasn't tasty and could feel the turmeric powder

For me it is just over hyped by name, but this restaurant has really very poor service in even their servers are not so polite. We have paid more than 6k but the service does not worth at all. We order tandoori pomfret that was just well marinated from out side but no marination or any proper seasoning inside the pomfret, I felt like having steam fish, also on our main course we received our tandoori roti was cold and soft, which we were struggling to chewing. Overall experience was ok, in my opinion trying seafood is best to go your local restaurant and have some good food with good price. #overpriced #overhyped

Service is quite quicker than I have experienced elsewhere. The delicacies are well cooked and were fine in taste too. If you are fan of mushrooms they prepare them well. Although the paneer dishes were kind of low on flavors, had to twick them with some lemon, pepper & salt. Ambience is good as per area & surrounding, place has good ceiling height although it has 2nd layer for boarding.

One of the most iconic lunch home experience, the seafood options are extensive and the staff is really helpful in helping you choose what fits your palette best. The service is fast and professional.

A safe option to have sea food around the area. The food was freshly cooked. The ambience was nice and calm.

I happened to visit this lunch home on 11/10/2024 evening alongwith my friend to spend my time enjoying seafood .Being Goan I ordered two plates of king fish but instead of king fish they served us fish similar to Kingfish (in our Goa we call it baam) duplicate king fish disappointing us . Accordingly I called one the staff and brought to his knowledge but he was not ready to admit..as a evidence I upload a picture of the same.. bad experience
