Mahesh Lunch Home - Seafood Specialty Restaurant (Juhu)

This is our favourite place for seafood. I plan to eat my lunch at least once here whenever I'm in Mumbai. I have tried Rava masala fry pomfret fish, Butter garlic crab, Butter garlic prawns, Lobster curry in both North and South Indian curry and obviously dessert - coconut payasam. Their cocktails are also good and this time we tried sunset margarita and true love. My personal favourite is Lobster in south indian curry with neer dosa. It was lip smacking delicious. Best for seafood lovers. I highly recommend this place.

Hey, if you're into seafood, you gotta check this place out! We had the prawn koliwada, tawa kingfish, and garlic prawns – everything was amazing. The service was great, and the staff were super nice.

Food was good except the prawns curry. Something was odd about the curry. When we asked to check we were told that everything is fine with the curry and this is how it should taste - Disappointed about the service! Except the prawn curry food was good.

Super amazing place to have a soulful experience of sea food in Mumbai!! Would love to visit again !!

Had fish and vegetarian rice dishes and it was great in taste. Service and atmosphere was also very good. Nice place for lunch and dinner with family.

Mahesh Lunch home is one of my favourite places for dinner when I visit Mumbai. This outlet is located on Juhu Tara Road near JW Marriott. The place is usually busy during dinner hours, I was lucky to get a table for two. The service is good and they recommend dishes which are really nice. We ended up ordering slightly more than we could eat, but all the dishes were great: for starters we had Prawns Crispy Fried with garlic they were big, juicy and really yummy. We also ordered Boneless Crab Butter pepper garlic which is one of the best dishes they have, I have eaten it before as well and it is very consistent and tasty. For the main course we choose Rawas Vijayawada Curry with rice, the curry was spicy and flavourful. Just like we wanted to eat. We also ordered beer which came chilled with peanuts, over all the meal was very nice and a definite visit for people who love seafood. Overall my experience at this outlet was really good as it always is. The cost for the meal including 2 beer was 4800 INR which is on a bit higher side being Mumbai, but the taste and experience was worth it.

Always a pleasure to go to this place. Would like to go in a big group so can try more dishes 😃. Located is Juhu and always get there easily.

Update: After visiting here for 20+ times I am updating my review. Don't ever go here, after being a regular customer here and paying service charges always because I was frankly okay with it but today they surpassed all their limits. The manger behaved like he offered the food for free and was forcing service tax saying it is mandatory regardless of it being not mandated by the govt. He was trying to ego bash us in paying it but i didn't care and removed it, he said this is the only time he is removing it. So this is the last time I am visiting here and not recommending anyone to go here; Your dishes are already overpriced over that you want to force the service charge for pathetic service? Which is not mandatory (they'll just force it regardless) Hope they start respecting customers 👍 Previous review: Amazing Experience at Mahesh Lunch Home, their staff is awesome and welcoming plus the sea food is next level.
