Mai House Saigon Hotel

This hotel deserves is a true 5* rating. The room is spacious and very clean, tastefully furnished. The buffet breakfast has a good selection of choices from the European continental breakfast to the various Asian taste Vietnamese, Japanese and Korean . The service from the restaurant staff is impeccable especially Mr. Phong and Ms. Vy made sure that the guests’ every need is met. I can’t expect more than that. Due to such a great experience, my husband and I invite 15 friends to come to the Seafood Buffet this weekend. I’m sure it will be a great feast. Thank you Mr. Phong and Ms. Vy for your attention to details.

I had an excellent time at The hotel. The property is amazingly beautiful and it’s like a picture postcard of luxury within Saigon. The staff were incredibly nice at every turn, including the Bellman and our best bartenders at the pool area Mr. Sinh and Mr. Long. We loved our room, which was a King. The breakfast buffet is out of this world and one of the best I’ve seen in Asia so many great things to say about this property. Can’t wait to come back. You won’t be disappointed if you make this your stay while in Ho Chi Minh.

This is a 5 star hotel yet I can hear the faintest of whispers from 3 different rooms while sleeping. Our flight arrived pretty late and I don't think the employee knew my friend spoke Vietnamese and audibly complained to his coworker that we were checking in so late. You can get a better experience out of a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City for a fraction of the price of this one. Having to whisper in your room because you're scared of bothering other rooms in a 5 star hotel is just insane to me. We stayed at plenty of other hotels in Vietnam and didn't have this problem in hotels that costed a quarter of this price. The hotel looks nice in photos but that's pretty much where it ends.

We stayed from September 8-11. Checked out this morning. I must say that everyone was at their best. I was very impressed by the Concierge Quy (Kelvin) who helped us with so many things. The breakfast is to die for!! Overall service was excellent. The room was very good too. Will highly recommend for comfort and luxury seeking travellers.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was impressed from the moment I arrived. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and made check-in quick and effortless. The overall environment of the hotel is calm and welcoming, with a design that balances elegance and comfort beautifully. The lobby and common areas are tastefully decorated, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout the property. My room was modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it a pleasant place to unwind after a long day. I truly appreciate the attention to detail and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

I was very disappointed with my massage at Mai House. I had booked the massage as a non-hotel guest, and while the spa itself was clean, beautiful and very conducive (they even offered a shower at the end) the massage itself did not meet my expectations. Some parts felt uncomfortable; not just in terms of pressure, as I did try requesting adjustments but still couldn’t quite relax. I eventually asked the masseuse to skip certain areas because it was getting stressful. I had also hoped she could focus more on the areas I initially requested (my head and feet) but those ended up being quite brief, and the session finished earlier than scheduled. I shared my experience with the receptionist, who initially offered me a discount for a return visit, but I declined as I honestly didn’t feel it would be worth it. She then applied a small discount to this visit instead. Appreciated her gesture! To be fair, based on my brief interaction with the hotel staff, the service was excellent overall — would definitely consider returning as a hotel guest, even though this particular massage fell short for me as a walk-in..

Pleasant breakfast experience. Both Mr. Phong and Ms. Y were very attentive and helpful at all times, it made our breakfast buffet felt like a sit down dining. All staff were kind with professional service. There were variations of food choice. Mi Quang and Banh Mi Xa Xiu were my favorite. I would not mind having more choices of fresh herbs to choose from. Cafe was normal not close to Highlands or Katinat.

Loved my stay at Mai House Saigon so much the first time that I didn’t even consider another hotel for my return. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the bathrooms are pristine, and the breakfast spread is something to look forward to every morning. The location is ideal—just outside D1, so it’s central yet not overwhelming, with easy access to other parts of the city. The gym is actually usable (not just for show), and the spa staff are fantastic—perfect if you don’t feel like venturing out for a massage. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. Everyone was wonderful, but Son, Ngoc, and Joey went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Honestly, I’d come back to Mai House just to catch up with Son and Ngoc and see how they’re doing. They’re a big reason why I’ll keep returning. Highly recommend!
