This is truly lovely hotel. We stayed 3 nights. The style is a fantastic mix of Gaudi with elements of Diego Rivera. We really enjoyed the layout and the architecture. We do not mind climbing 4 flights of winding narrow stairs to our room but it can be a major obstacle for some travelers. The room was spacious but basic. We had a pleasant balcony with chairs to sit. The room had no fridge or microwave or tea/ coffee station. Tea and coffee and hot and cold water were available downstairs in a lovely meeting cove. The bedding was a little hard but okay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was sufficient but nothing to write home about.|We were satisfied with our stay.

There is quite a bit of difference across the room options and we were lucky to get our own balcony and big windows. The room was clean and quiet but the bed was a bit too stiff. The breakfast buffet was fine and the staff were all very friendly. A few things that were not so great: no black out curtains, no coffee /tea maker in the room (standard in most hotels), and a horrid toilet situation under which no paper can be thrown in the WC. I know this latter issue is out of concern of the local sewage system but still: they should then install bidets in the bathroom.

My Retired brother and I stayed here for 3 nights, as part of a Tour package. What a treat it was to get away from modern hotels! It was away from the main tourist roads and it had a very charming appearance. Some people might find the winding stairs difficult to maneuver with luggage, and some might dislike the bathroom sink having only cold water, but we had no problem----especially since the shower was so nice and hot! The breakfast was eggs/omelets, toast, fruit, and drinks----all cooked near the tables and served to you by pleasant staff. Being a small hotel, checking in is quick and handled by very welcoming staff (who also sell beer). We would definitely return here, especially since "touristy town" is only about 5 minutes away.

Decent place, great location. Breakfast limited and just ok. Some strange rules, turning off the air everyday...the room got so hot it melted chocolate I had purchased to take home. Had to turn key in everyday. Positive was definitely the location, staff was friendly.

Cute and clean, hot shower, good location with nice breakfast, included. Friendly staff there 24 hours a day. Free unlimited drinking water and hot tea available anytime. They are helpful and held our bags for early arrival and late departure.

Location is the only thing that is good about this place. However many other hotels in the neighborhood that maybe worth the dollar. Hotel is dated. Breakfast leaves little to be desired. Rooms are dirty. Our bed covers had stains on them. The toiletries were never restocked which meant that they barely cleaned the bathroom. I wouldn’t stay here again and neither will I recommend anyone to stay here again.

Peaceful spot 2 blocks from the Main Street in Puerto Ayora with lovely staff and very nice breakfast. There are balconies with views of the ocean. The only downsides are the weak WiFi signal, which the staff say should be upgraded soon, and the fact that one side of our three person room was not ventilated at all. It gets hot at night.

We had two rooms there for one night, booked through the tour agency, on our way to Isabela island. Very basic room, no frills, no amenities, no black out curtains, only cold water in the sink. In our room, there was no window covering on the patio door at all, so at night, with the light on in the room, everyone was able to see in. The building is very old and very tired. On the good side, the location is great and the management were very nice. Would not stay there again.
