Great experience working with Maine Solar Solutions. Everyone was very professional, friendly and competent. Very good communication during the process and answered questions promptly. They did an amazing job putting up the solar panels in less than ideal weather. Everything went very smoothly and is working nicely.

WOW WoW wow!!!! A HUGE shout out to Philip Walter and the entire crew at Maine Solar Solutions for a job well done! We added 10 more solar panels to our roof and 3 more lithium batteries to our bank and upgraded our system to a state-of-the-art smart off grid system to supplement the power we needed for our addition this week. Phil also created a link between our solar system and our new whole-house generator to ensure the generator automatically goes on when the system is low on voltage. This means no more power failures, no more stressing if we lose power in the middle of the night. Phil is a solar genius and I could not ask for better support. Power is magic and he knows magic! Although we had to wait awhile for installation of our solar panels, Maine Solar Solutions did a great job. Installation took less than 2 days and the installers were very professional and efficient. The system worked immediately and we have had no trouble since.

I feel bad that it's taken me this long to write a review, but I've been a very happy customer since the install around 6 months ago. Was a real pleasure working with Maine Solar from the consultation and paperwork to the excellent crew of guys that installed it. Couldn't think of a better team to work with, and I'm so happy that I went with tried and true Maine company that has been here since the start and not one of the hustler companies that came in to profit. Can't recommend Maine Solar enough!

We purchased an off grid log cabin in 2022, and own two EV vehicles. We reviewed the options available and researched multiple solar installers. We settled on Maine Solar Solutions due to their reputation and we wanted a company that we believed would be around for a few years. We went out of town for Christmas, and came back to snow covered panels and frozen water pipes. Our system was down and it was very, very cold. I texted our off grid project manager, Phil, on Friday evening after new years day, not expecting to hear back until Monday. He called me back that evening and walked me through the procedures for restarting, which meant he had to remotely access the system and reduce the power from a generator so that the batteries would accept the power. Our entire system was up and running by the next morning. We were incredibly grateful to Phil and his company for the quick response after hours. We would highly recommend them for anyone who takes their system seriously and wants reliable service.

We just had a 20-panel setup installed in Palermo. Everyone we have talked to has been helpful and friendly, and the crew that came out for the final installation were great. It was fun talking to them all; Everyone was friendly and personable. The final build including electrics is high quality. The SolarEdge equipment and the array itself are amazing technological marvels. I love the SolarEdge app and my wife and I feel that this is going to be a life-changing event. Even after a few days, the difference in consumption is profound. If you're undecided about who to go with, you won't go wrong with this group.

From first contact to installation to final configuration, and all steps in-between (including financing), this company was top-notch! It’s amazing to think that one day one after installation, I started getting paid by the sun. I cannot understate the quality and functionality of the tech, particularly the SPAN smart load panel, the Tesla Gateway and Tesla Powerwalls, which all provide seemless and undetectable power backup to my home. Were it not for my Tesla and SPAN apps, I would never have known about the 2 short power-outages we had in Topsham recently. Complete peace-of-mind for Maine’s weather patterns bringing power interruptions going forward.
