This was an amazing place to come eat. My wife and I came here on our honeymoon on a recommendation from someone and it didn’t disappoint. Everything was so perfect to make our special night out one to remember!

Upon arriving, I was greeted t the door by Melissa, soon to be our server. Although I was early for my reservations, she showed me to our table without hesitation. The restaurant is gorgeous inside. So quaint and pretty. Seating is a bit tight, but after seeing how many people came to eat that night, I understand why. As I waited for my guest, I took the opportunity to check the decor. Not a speck of dust anywhere. I ordered a glass of house wine and Melissa brought the bottle for me to see and allowed me to taste it before committing. Very professional. It was time to order. I had the beef tartare for my appetizer. Delicious. My main course was a lobster salad which contained the entire lobster. Simply delicious. My guest ordered the duck and loved it. Honestly, it was the best food I have eaten in a restaurant, EVER! Melissa was amazing, the owner came to chat with us. I cannot say enough about the restaurant. A MUST visit. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would. Be prepared to bring your wallet, but it is more than worth the price. I cannot wait to go back

This is is my 4th time at Maison 1890 and we went to celebrate my birthday. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and catered to beyond any restaurant I have been to. The food is impeccable and impressive and so tasty. The atmosphere is also wonderful as every other table feels just as blessed to have been there like us. We love everything about Maison 1890! Tara and family

We happened to go there ever so randomly on a Wednesday night. It was our honeymoon’s last night in Mt. Tremblant and we had such a pleasurable night in general with genuine and sincere service and ever so delicious food. Thanks for being an unforgettable part of our honeymoon. Strongly recommend

This charming resto never lets us down. The service is impeccable and the food simple out of this world. Every visit, every year. The infamous avocado/lobstertail/grapefruit salad is a big boy's meal with citrus explosions.

The truffle spahghetti and walleye (fish of the day) were amazing, the flavors of everything on the plate compliment each other so well! The service was great, multiple servers came to our table throughout the night and we never had to wave anyone down. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and definitely would go here again!

My wife and I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in to the time we left we felt important to the staff. The service was incredible! The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable! We had the lamb and filet mignon. This was the most delicious meal we have ever had! So fresh and full of flavour! Definitely a must stop! Make sure you book a reservation! Even though this restaurant is 9 hours from where we live, we will definitely be back!

Yelp
Wonderful ambiance, and I can't say enough about the amazing food. We had the grilled octopus and oysters to start, followed by the short rib and halibut. Do not skip the crème de citron... amazing!

Yelp
The apple pie tasted like a apple made in a factory The roasted duck is terrible it feels like rubber in your mouth and Tate's like plastic The only reason I gave it 2 stars is the crab cakes so if u go get that

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant brimming with old-world charm! Cozy and spacious, and a lovely patio for the warm weather. The food was fantastic with a lovely blend of flavours. The Serrano ham was delicious in a sandwich, and looking forward to trying the plate of it on our next visit. Dessert was a great finish to our meal, and the lemon meringue tart was the best I've had anywhere. The service was delightful. Polite and friendly, quick, and very accommodating. We'll be back again soon!

Yelp
Charming little French restaurant with good food. The waitress is very nice however the owner is very rude, sarcastic and insulting. She has no manners and does not know how to treat her customers in case they find one of her dishes very distasteful.

Yelp
Enjoying a trip along the Laurentides we stopped for lunch here. The restaurant was lovely and the menu had a lot of options. I ordered the smoked salmon salad and it was really good. The portions were very generous. I'll likely to be back if ever traveling that way again.

Yelp
Best meal in a while. Great French onion soup, delicious pumpkin soup, imaginative goat cheese over perfectly grilled vegetables. Our main course of roasted duck and lake fish over risoto were perfect. Cooked just right with nice touches of glazed vegetables and sauces. Our by the glass white wines happily married our food. Local cheeses cured just so. Apple pie with marzipan, home caramel and fine ice cream. A deliciously well-rounded meal. Service was super warm, friendly and efficient. A bit pricy but well worth the expense. At last a chef who doesn't use sugar as the main ingredient in each disg! A joy to be able to write my best yelp review to date. :)

Yelp
Here to snowmobile and Had lunch here. Was very impressed. Had the octopus, Osso bucco, prosciutto sandwich, Cajun salad, and onion soup. Best onio soup that I ever had. Everything was delicious and can't wait to go back and try the dinners.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our meal last night. Oysters, followed by salmon tartar, and then the lobster salad. All fabulous. Also tried the veal, the tuna salad, and a bunch of desserts. All delicious. The ambiance is vibrant and the staff is great. No complaints from me, though another guest we were with was disappointed with the crab cakes. I did not try those. Great place.

Yelp
Accomplished casual French food at its "foodie" finest --a real find in the small town of Ste Agathe des Monts in the Laurentians. The restaurant is named after the origins of the house which was built in 1890 and it has been renovated with a French Provence feel to it. The owners and staff are friendly and attentive and the service was efficient. Their salads are fresh and inventive as well as their entrees. Highly recommend their daily specials as well as their beef bavette, pasta, and lamb entrees. Their desserts are also delicious--you can try their creme brûlée, cheesecake and lemon tart among others. Dessert portions are done right --not oversized but just right after a full dinner and their cappuccinos and espressos are excellent. They also offer lunch and take out in a lovely bistro setting.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience at Maison 1890. Food was great, waitress was very nice and I liked how there were no mosquitoes outside. It had a very chill vibe and I liked that a lot. Overall it's an amazing restaurant.

Yelp
Great little cozy restaurant in Ste Agathe! We stopped here on a 130k ride from Tremblant. Our group had a variety of foods - salads, burgers, sandwiches and great cappuccino! They also had a garden to park the bikes! We'd come back here again!

Yelp
Fun experience in a very french and cozy restaurant. Food delicious and the hostess and server did speak a little english. I had a seafood special - scallops were amazing - and my husband had a steak special, also delicious. Expensive meal but worth it for a special occasion.
