My colleagues and I had the pleasure of dining there last night, and it was an evening marked by exquisite flavors, attentive service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The Menu - White Asparagus & Sauce Mousseline: Our culinary journey began with a seasonal delight—tender white asparagus paired with a rich and velvety sauce mousseline. The dish was a perfect embodiment of simplicity and elegance, showcasing the chef's mastery of traditional French techniques. Complemented by the 2021 Riesling Grand Cru Kirchberg de Barr from Domaine Goepp, the pairing was a symphony of freshness and subtlety, enhancing the asparagus's delicate flavors. - Chicken Fricassée: For the main course, we indulged in a Chicken Fricassée, featuring confited chicken and a medley of vegetables, all enveloped in a luscious sauce moutarde. The dish was hearty and comforting, with each element cooked to perfection. The 2022 Sancerre Rouge Pinot Noir from Paul Prieur & Fils was an inspired choice, offering a light, fruity contrast that beautifully balanced the richness of the fricassée. - Baba au Rhum: Our meal concluded with the classic Baba au Rhum, accompanied by rhubarb compote and crème chantilly. This dessert was a delightful end to our evening, with the tangy rhubarb and airy chantilly providing a refreshing counterpoint to the rum-soaked baba. The Experience The ambiance at Maison is charmingly reminiscent of a Parisian bistro, with its elegant decor and cozy setting. The service was impeccable, with the staff demonstrating both knowledge and enthusiasm in guiding us through the menu and wine selections. Their recommendations were spot-on, enhancing our dining experience significantly. Maison is a commendable choice for both private and business dinners, offering a sophisticated yet welcoming environment. The combination of classic French cooking, excellent service, and a well-curated wine list makes it a standout destination in Copenhagen’s dining scene. Whether you're a connoisseur of French cuisine or simply seeking a memorable dining experience, Maison is sure to impress.

it's worth every penny food is classic french but very well executed it's probably why this place has been around for so long, really well done congrats. Copenhagen has definitely the best food scene in the world and restaurant maison is part of this

My second visit to Maison and I had superbly high expectations from my first experience which was excellent. The food, service and atmosphere was even better second time round. Oysters were wonderfully presented, so fresh and delicious. The steak au poivre is the best steak I’ve ever had anywhere. Overall a truly fabulous restaurant that is in my top 10 globally. Outstanding!!!

Amazing food - the pepper steak is to die for. Overall very enjoyable and the terrace on the square is nice for people watching. Classic stuff done right makes you happy.

I had a super nice dinner here, for my boyfriend’s birthday. They even put a candle on a small cake for him. The food was super nice, and the service impeccable :) I am French, so I am happy to find good French cuisine in Copenhagen :) The restaurant is cosy, and open late, so it’s good. But for a French person, it hurts me a bit to pay 300 DKK for cider, which is the price for good champagne in France… But I recommend without hesitation!

French style bistro with plenty of specialties like snails, dove, and more. The dove in particular was great, came with an edible 'nest' as well for a complete bourgeoise experience. The outdoor terrace is excellent during summer. The only minus are the prices. Extremely expensive, felt like everything was marked up considerably for what it should be, especially the wine.
