"A short hop from Rondout into a more residential part of downtown, Maison Après is part cafe and part retail where upcycled fashion pieces are sewn and tailored in the same building, and we love how the team reworks classic menswear into new silhouettes." - Coolstuff Team

Wow wow wow! This place is so magical. Whether you're stopping in for a quick visit to the cafe or looking for a wonderful shopping experience - you really can't go wrong here. The coffee is amazing, the boutique is beautifully curated, and Kaitlyn is beyond talented. It's hard to believe this is right here in Kingston. I'm already getting excited thinking about my next visit!

I had a delightful visit to Maison Après. I started with a delicious cappuccino in their cozy café. Then, I browsed through the thoughtfully curated collection and purchased a cropped button-down flannel top and matching skirt set. Kaitlyn was incredibly friendly and offered great suggestions on different ways to wear the pieces. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be back. Helpful tip: If you want a coffee to go, bring your own takeaway cup.

One of the most unique, lovely small businesses in Kingston. It’s part cafe, part up-cycled fashion boutique, part community space. She does the most playful embroidered elements on pieces. Kaitlyn is always opening her doors to bring people together. ♥️✌️

My absolutely favorite store in Kingston!!! The most beautiful space. Their clothes are sustainable and always fit me perfectly. And they have the best selection of locally made pottery and wellness. The cafe is my go to and I love coworking in their space during the week. On top of all of this they also host events! And they run Hudson valley sustainable fashion week. All must experiences if you live in the Hudson valley or are visiting !!

This is a beautiful space with a welcoming vibe. It's always pleasure to stop by and see the unique clothing creations. But in addition, it's the best matcha in town!! Good quality and made perfectly. And served with a friendly chat.

I don't often write reviews, but Maison Après certainly deserves one, and it’s a positive one. I have visited this boutique several times and also received their monthly newsletter. Kaitlyn, the owner, is an experienced young woman in the garment industry who created this beautiful shop, which stands out from any other boutique I've seen. Kaitlyn has a clear vision, and I completely align with it. Firstly, the store is gorgeous and elegantly decorated with vintage pieces. When you enter, you feel welcomed, and there's a stylish café where you can enjoy a delicious cappuccino or espresso. A few steps up lead to the boutique itself. Kaitlyn transforms used clothing, shirts, and more into beautiful, glamorous pieces. Today, I purchased my first shirt, and I absolutely love it! Each shirt has something special, like a mini embroidery; some are short, some are made into dresses, and some are long, fitting all body types. I've also bought a vintage suit and a wool coat. All the pieces are clean and ready to wear. What I especially appreciate about Kaitlyn's efforts is her desire to foster a community where people can come together. She organizes monthly community mending sessions, pop-ups, and community dinners, bringing in musicians as well. One memorable event was the New Year Holiday soiree, where we met new people as well as familiar faces. It was a lot of fun! Kaitlyn also hosts clothing swaps, making the store a vibrant and enjoyable place to visit. It has a unique energy and aesthetic vision. If you're passing through Kingston or live in the surrounding area, Maison Après is a must-see destination!

This store is chic beyond compare. Every single detail has been considered and designed to feel welcoming and curated but not fussy. Love that everything they do stands behind sustainability from the up-cycled and vintage clothing to the "for here" cafe. A truly beautiful gem with genuine and flawless execution

Warm hygge vibes, the shop offers an innovative take on vintage wear. Walking in feels like you’ve entered a portal into a slower more considered time. The shop functions as both a storefront and studio where the designer creates the clothing from upcycled garments. Will be checking in here before I buy new from now on!
