A deeply disappointing stay at Maison Armance (Room 31)
This was meant to be a special family trip for my wife’s birthday, yet our experience at Maison Armance turned into a long list of frustrations.
We stayed in Room 31, leaving in the morning and returning in the afternoon. Not once in three days was the room actually cleaned. Every time we came back, nothing had been done — only the trash taken out and towels replaced. For a hotel positioned as premium, this is simply unacceptable.
The ventilation noise in the room was another ongoing problem — constantly fluctuating between loud and louder — making it very difficult to sleep, especially for someone sensitive to noise. Instead of rest, we were disturbed the entire night.
The bathtub was dirty and full of hair, even though we had not used it. We had to clean it ourselves so our child could use it safely.
The bed linen was never changed, not even once during our stay.
Small details that should have elevated the experience ended up doing the opposite.
I prefer to keep things elegant, but the truth is simple:
This stay was devastatingly disappointing, especially considering the occasion and the price point. We expected care, comfort, and attention to detail — and received none of them.
Unfortunately, I would not return.
