Okay gonna be honest ate several macarons from different highly recommend places. But this places had the best. Macarons were amazing very delicate and tasty. Must try place. I'm sure other pastries and foods were great. Keep in mind No place to sit.

I bought a baguette and it was overcooked and BURNED! I've never been to a single bakery in Paris that burned a baguette. They should be ashamed of themselves for even putting the 1ere baguette from 2007. Worst baguette in Paris

We stumbled across this gem while strolling Rue de Martyrs, without a doubt the best pain au chocolat we tried in Paris and only gutted that we couldn't fit in time to pop back before we left!

Google
Gordon Ramsay is right, this is one of the best bakeries in Paris. Amazing croissants which are still decently priced. The boulangerie is mostly visited by locals and seems to be a hidden gem as there is no line and there I spotted no tourists inside. If I lived in Paris I would visit Arnaud Delmontel often.

Stumbled into this place walking to my hotel after dinner and wanted something sweet. The eclair I had was the best I’ve had in Paris!!! Such a fantastic surprise and will be back to try their other baked goods

Yelp
This is my favorite bakery in Paris and I have been coming here since 2011. A small space filled with the most amazing pastries. I always get the almond croissant. Everything here is amazing but I always get the same thing bc it is that good! Love the neighborhood as well. Def worth a stop if you are nearby but still worth going out of your way for!

Yelp
Delmontel single handedly made me fall in love with macarons. They are amazing here. Ahhmazing! C'est magnifique! I stayed in Montmartre and over the week or so I was there I visited delmontel's gorgeous store many times and tried many different things. A big stand out for me was the Saint Honore. Gorgeously made, light and airy inside with just the right amount of cream. I have recommended this place to all my friends who visit Paris because a trip to Paris isn't complete without visiting Arnaud Delmontel's!

Yelp
SOO delicious macaroons (I got to taste the padlocking macaroons), and their croissant and bread are not that bad either (not a big fan of croissant, but I'm in France so have to try). It was actually easy to find the place, lovely area with a lot of restaurant, and cafes. Okay prices compared with the quality.

Yelp
When I day dream about my trip to Paris, my mind always wanders back here. I consider this one of the best bakeries I visited in Paris(and believe me, when I say that's an extensive list). Their baguettes are worth lining up for--soft, fluffy, with a hard exterior--a quintessential example of a French baguette. We could easily polish off a baguette each person! Their croissants are equally as impressive! Flaky and buttery, I highly recommend trying their pain au chocolate, or their almond croissants. Though the plain ones were the ones I found myself gravitating towards every time. If your craving is more on the indulgent side, their bugnes--French donuts--are airy and light while their Palmiers are crunchy and sweet. Either way, this bakery is worth the trip!

Yelp
By far my favorite boulangerie at my stay in Paris. I walked in because of the line that I saw as I walked by. The croissant amande was by far the best thing I had eaten throughout my entire trip. The texture is nothing like an actual croissant. The outside is crusty with powdered sugar and almonds and then biting into it, the inside is so soft and gooey that it is almost like custard. Their baguette is unbelievable. On a Sunday morning when everything else was closed, a line was out the door and I simply ordered what everyone else was ordering, a baguette. It was freshly baked and still warm. Now that is a great breakfast, straight Parisian fresh baguette. No butter, no Nutela, no bells and whistles. I will be on a quest to find bread as good in New York, but maybe I won't and it will always be "the bread I left in Paris." (Geeking out, I actually saw this as the bakery Gordon Ramsay visited on his show.)

Yelp
Baguette is crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. Not too hard or crunchy where it hurts your teeth The pain au chocolat, chocolate croissant, maybe I'm biased but it was the best I had in Paris. Slight crisp on the top and flaky enough to enjoy. Although I would like my chocolate to be spread round but this was jus superb. Super light as well. They have many other pastries and desserts and I had tried few but the baguette and chocolate croissant is a must!

Yelp
For my last day in Paris, I planned to make daytime visits to the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower, having visited both in the evening hours. Waking up bright and early on a Sunday morning could have been problematic since it seemed like many patisseries and boulangeries were either closed or opened later on Sundays, but thankfully, the well-regarded Arnaud Delmontel boulangerie and patisserie is open early even on Sundays, and conveniently enough, there was one location just a couple of blocks away from my hostel. Arriving once again to a just-opened bakery and greeted with warm baked goods, I walked out with a Pain au Chocolat, a Croissant aux Amandes, and a baguette. Their award-winning baguette was perfect: a crisp, light crust with an airy, pocket-filled interior. Don't worry, I'm not fat enough to eat a whole baguette in one sitting along with a bunch of other pastries; I only ate half of it. See, self-control. The gigantic Croissant aux Amandes was a bit sweeter and much more dense than Ladurée's, though I really enjoyed the fantastic outer layer covering the top, as it was entirely reminiscent of the topping you would find on a Chinese Bo Lo Bao (pineapple bun). I think I preferred this version of the Croissant aux Amandes, namely because it was so much more dessert-like and luxurious. The Pain au Chocolat was right up there with Julien's in terms of sheer amazingness, though I think Julien's benefited from being a bit warmer at the time of consumption. All in all, everything was delicious, but the Croissant aux Amandes will be what I remember most fondly. Arnaud Delmontel is a great place to pick up a baguette or some baked goods, and I highly recommend it.

Yelp
I visited Paris for a few days and stayed in an apartment right by this pastry shop. Each morning, I would come to this bakery and choose a pastry that looked tasty, and each morning, I was never disappointed. The pastries were fluffy, light (not too buttery), sweet but not overly sweet. Unfortunately, I don't know what the name is of each pastry that I ordered. The first one was a long pastry with chocolate chips and some filling in the middle. It was so tasty! The second looked like a clam shell with a light green paste/filling in the center. This pastry was my favorite!

Yelp
Came here because this place was listed on a few lists for the best bakery in paris. I have to say I was disappointed. Tried a chocolate brownie - moist, not bad, but nothing special. Also tried a pistachio, pear, and fig tart. now this sounds fantasticcccc, but it was only ok. half a fig, no pistachio flavour, moist but meh. whatever they used to stick the tart to the paper tray it sat on, legit glued a good 75% of the bottom of the tart to the paper. cool.

Yelp
Just finished dinner at Bistrot Smiley and looking for dessert. Walked into this patisserie across a small side street on same side of rue des martyrs. Busy place. Selected the apple tartlette and tart. Also the pear tartlette. All just under £5. We had one of each on the photos. Came to €13.90 Delicious melt in your mouth buttery flavors. The crust is almost crunchy. Must come back for a quiche tomorrow morning before we fly off. Worth a visit if you are in Montmartre area.

Yelp
After looking up the best bakeries in Paris and scouting out my local haunts, I finally made it to Arnaud Delmontel. The baguette I got was decent but honestly I wasn't all that impressed. Maybe it was the fact that I was expecting to be blown away due to all the hype, or maybe it was because I came in the afternoon - and the baguette wasn't hot and fresh, but I have definitely found better baguettes in Paris. That being said, the bread wasn't bad, and I would still recommend checking it out!

Yelp
We tried the sourdough baguette and it was fine, but not as good as Le Grenier a Pain. Unfortunately their almond croisant was sold out.

Yelp
Had some of their tartlets, they tasted ok, sweetness level was good (not low as many French sweets). Nothing too exciting but ok.

Yelp
Delmontel is quite a boulanger. His Renaissance baguette is great-very light and airy on the inside, but boasting a crisp outer crust. His viennoiseries (breakfast pastries) are likewise excellent-very flaky, buttery croissants with a moist and chewy, yet well-done interior, same goes for the pain au chocolat. I also really enjoy the croissants and pains au chocolat aux amandes. Though quite sweet, they are nice and crispy on the outside, with an almond topping, but moist on the inside. Though a bit heavier on the almond extract than I'd like, I would still choose to indulge in this delight on almost any given day :)
