My son and I spent 3 nights at this beautiful boutique hotel. We both loved it. The staff whom we met were all polite and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Whilst the rooms are small, that wasn’t a problem for us. The beds are very comfortable and our room faced the rear and was very quiet. The bathroom was gorgeous and the shower had good pressure. There were soft fluffy towels and robes. Nice touches, e.g. an automatic light in the wardrobe and free to use safe. No kettle tho. The location was fab, very central. We walked to most of the tourist sites, or hopped the metro to go further afield.

We’re currently staying at Maison Athénée and couldn’t be happier with our experience so far. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted at the door and had our luggage brought up to the room. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room is absolutely beautiful—luxurious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The service has been excellent—by far the best we’ve had compared to other hotels we stayed at earlier in our trip through Rome and Portugal. We are a gay couple visiting Paris with our parents. The staff are welcoming and attentive, and the assistant manager and reception has been fantastic. The room is perfectly air-conditioned, the bathroom is pristine, and the bed is super comfortable. Breakfast has also been delicious each morning. So far, everything has exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

A gem of a boutique hotel in Paris, full of Parisian charm and in a fantastic location. Thibeau welcomed us warmly at check-in and was wonderfully hospitable throughout our stay. The rooms are small, but with so much to explore in Paris, we didn’t mind at all. The water pressure was excellent, the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. The hotel also served the most delicious scrambled eggs, soft and fluffy. Their coffee was also excellent. Hotel is within walking distance of the RER Auber station, the metro, and surrounded by countless restaurants, shops, bakeries, department stores (Printemps, Galeries Lafayette) and the Opera House (Palais Garnier). There are truly endless options right at your doorstep.

Lovely hotel and staff, great location on the right bank, right near the Opera House. The room is clean albeit very small. We were only there for one night however for longer stays it could be a bit difficult. Great towels and bedding! Could provide a bit more in the way of room amenities, shower caps, body lotion etc. I will stay here again for a longer stay if the rooms were larger. Paris Hotel rooms are what they are, most are usually small, but this was particularly small.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Maison Athénée is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by truly wonderful people who made us feel right at home. The location is unbeatable—tucked on a charming side street that’s filled with fantastic restaurants and cozy bars, perfect for a night out without straying far. What really sets this hotel apart is its character. Each room is unique, blending art deco elegance with a modern twist. Every detail feels thoughtfully designed, creating a space that’s both stylish and comfortable. And the music—what a treat! We loved the clever mix of 1980s hits reimagined in 1940s styles. It added such a fun, unexpected vibe to our stay. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel with personality, warmth, and an incredible location, Maison Athénée is it. We can’t wait to return!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Maison Athénée. The location was excellent, the room was very comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly. A special thank you to Thibaut for all his assistance throughout my stay, and to Sylviane Sanz for her warm card upon arrival—it made me feel truly welcome. Will be back!

We stayed here for four nights. We were upgraded to a superior room facing the back. The room was quiet and clean. Staff was very nice and helpfull. Breakfast was great despite limited choices (it is a very small hotel). The location is very central, and close to metro lines but on a relatively quiet street despite quite a few open restaurants/bars on the same street. Rooms are small but that can be expected in paris and especially in old buildings. The hotel is named after the nearby theater and has a strong nostalgic theater theme. The only downside to that was that the room was a little bit dark even with all the lights on. We would certainly love to stay there again.

So much praise for this hotel and it's location. Location is ideal for all the popular spots, walking distance and trains nearby. And the staff, just amazed at their hospitality and kindness. Maxim truly is a star and he made our stay so special, taking every request and delivering high standards. Also Limone from the Night Shift as well as Theobout, who was always looking out for the guests. Apologies for the spelling errors of the names. Truly a wonderful hotel in a great popular location. Will definitely choose this hotel again for the next visit to Paris

Yelp
This hotel is conveniently located in one of the best neighborhoods in Paris. Only two blocks from all the malls and surrounded by a lot of restaurant options from inexpensive unique French places to walking distance to Hotel Costess. I stayed at the hotel for 9 nights and I got to deal with every employee who worked the front desk. What an amazing team. Everyone showed me great hospitality. they were very nice giving me directions and even helped me booking a private BJJ class in Paris The hotel lobby was my favorite part. Wifi always works. And the €18 breakfast is delicious and they bring it to your room

Yelp
Just returned from a few days stay in Paris with my partner, where we stayed at Hotel Athenee. The hotel itself was a great find. It is beautifully decorated, perfect for a romantic getaway. The room was very clean, everything from curtains to towels seemed to be brand new. The bathroom is spotless, with a big bathtub. The room itself is quite small, which is not unusual for hotels in Paris, but it is beautiful and cozy. We had one of the two rooms with a terrace and were lucky enough to have warm, sunny days throughout our stay, so having a croissant and a coffee on the terrace in the morning was pure bliss. The staff was extremely friendly, offering advice and help without being overbearing. As for the location, the hotel is not only close to main attractions in Paris, but also to three metro station: Aubert, Havre-Caumartin and Madeleine. During our first evening in Paris, we took a stroll from the hotel to the Eiffel Tower and saw on our way Place de la Concorde, Alexandre III bridge, Quai Branly Museum. Galleries Lafayette are also 5 minutes away, as is another big department store, Printemps Haussman. I cannot comment on the quality of the food, since we chose to have all our meals outside. All in all, we absolutely loved this hotel and we're already planning for our next getaway, in spring, when we will stay at Hotel Athenee again.

Yelp
My husband reserved the hotel based on the neighborhood and the reviews he read. The location is perfect and walkable to so many things. The staff was super friendly, especially Bassam, who was full of hospitality. The room was very nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. The room is tight, its Paris...you are not getting loads of space! The bathroom was great with a fantastic shower. Minibar, fridge, safe, etc. I would go back to this hotel again.

Yelp
Wonderful place to stay! The staff, especially Apollo, was charming and very helpful. The room was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Our room faced the back of the hotel and was very quiet for great sleep. Location is perfect. Close to everything including the Metro. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Stayed here 3 nights at the end of a 2 week vacation to France and loved this place. Rooms are beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds, cool (important in July), very clean, and the staff is awesome. Size of the rooms is comparable to what I have heard about most nicer hotels in Paris - not big, but definitely big enough. As I said the staff is awesome, gave us great recommendations for restaurants and generally very helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we ever get back to Paris

Yelp
We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had problems the entire stay. The sink would not drain and the toilet seat was loose. We returned one night with our door wide open with no explanation. The last day we had a leak from our ceiling. No one arrived to help us take care of it. It was a very disappointing hotel.

Yelp
We stayed here for four days toward the end of a two week vacation in France. Staff was quite friendly and helpful. Room size was comparable to other places I've stayed in Paris. No complaints. Would definitely stay here again. Convenient to metro, restaurants, and roissybus.

Yelp
The team there is absolutely great, and cannot stress that enough. Special thanks to both Thibault and Alexandra! Thibault always had an umbrella handy for me (as the weather wasn't the best during my stay) and gave fantastic recommendations for restaurants for things I couldn't find on my own. ...Alexandra was super awesome when I got back to the hotel in the evenings after running around Paris all day, and made sure I was comfortable with snacks, delicious wine, and just a general joy to be around :) The hotel itself was very comfortable with a boutique aspect and feel, and really liked the design in both the main areas and the room itself. It's in a great area of town! Made sure I spent some time in the lounge as there were little alcoves that had comfortable seating areas w/ excellent decor and perfect lighting for the ambiance so it was a brilliant spot to sit down and relax with a cocktail whether you're coming or going. Basically a winner on all points!!!

Yelp
Service and location are excellent. Room was a disaster. Superior room is very small and on 5th floor roof beams literally cut room in half. I hit my head twice. Bathroom is microscopic and missing shampoo and most everything else. They offered to move us to room without the roof beams for another 80 Euros. Forget it and go elsewhere for the money.
