We had a fantastic stay! The rooms were perfect for families and very affordable. It’s the ideal hotel for families traveling with teenagers — everyone gets their own separate rooms while still being connected by a comfortable living room. The décor was stunning, and everything was spotlessly clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all slept so well.||The staff were attentive, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which made our stay even better. The attached Cork restaurant was super convenient, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked our next stay for 2026. Highly recommend this hotel for families!

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the room service staff were very friendly and helpful. I understand that the pool and gym are small, which is fine for a boutique-style hotel. However, the jacuzzi wasn’t working properly, and the bathroom was quite small, with the shower drain not flowing well. The location would be excellent if it weren’t for the ongoing construction on the main road. One downside was that the live music from the nearby bar was very loud at night — the noise continued until around 11 PM, which made it hard to relax. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but a few maintenance improvements and better soundproofing would make it much better.

Stayed for 6 nights and really enjoyed this hotel. The room was lovely, clean and felt nice and open. The staff are all very friendly, full of smiles and helpful which was great to see. A special shout out to Jozi/Jodi? from housekeeping, he was so cheerful when giving us our nightly turn down service. |The breakfasts were great, getting freshly cooked a la cart breakfast is a great touch and they also have a small continental buffet range to add to your breakfasts. The setting was an enjoyable, a close to the beach and heaps of restaurants and shops on the road it faces. Not many pool lounges but I still never missed out, but really only got sun in the mornings. |I also really enjoyed a number of spa treatments too! |Will definitely be back!

We stayed here as a family of 4 for two nights before transferring to the Gili Islands. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was perfect. Beds were comfortable, and space for us all. Service was great and friendly. We also had two massages which were great. Pool was small but fine for us. We also got picked up by the hotel from the airport (pre arranged) which was a smooth process. All in all, great experience and would highly recommend this boutique hotel.

The rooms in the hotel are spacious with a small seating area to relax. The rugs are in need of a deep clean but everything else in the rooms are spotless |The pool is in shade after 12pm, so you only get the morning sun for tanning on the loungers, you would need to transfer to the beach for all-day sun. |Cork bistro is not actually linked to the hotel, so drinks and snacks cannot be ordered whilst round the pool and charged back to the room unlike most hotels. |The in-house continental breakfast isn’t worth paying the money for. There’s a small platter of fruit and a few small croissants/Danishes. |There are lots of breakfast options along the Main Street. I would recommend Republique Brasserie and Rue at Maya Sanur hotel.

We had a brilliant 7 night stay at this lovely, quiet hotel. It’s not far from the beach 10 min walk and the icon centre is walkable too. There are so many restaurants to choose from including the Cork onsite. |The Camelia room was big enough for 2 of us and was very comfortable- housekeeping excellent. Breakfast was enjoyable & the pool area relaxing. We had a massage at the hotel spa which was a good price & so relaxing. |The hotel staff made our experience here so enjoyable and were happy to chat & pass on their knowledge of area. Special shout out to Okky, Akiri, Dwi, Gusti, Trainee (Wayan) and Tanganaki (lovely young lady who manns the desk by front door). Sincere apologies if I have got their names wrong.| We recommend this hotel if you prefer a quieter experience but have plenty of things to do if you wish.

Overall, I had a nice experience staying at Maison Aurelia Sanur. The room was clean and the location is quite central within the Sanur area, which is very convenient. However, I was a bit disappointed with the hotel’s spa service. I had booked a treatment expecting something more refined, considering the price I paid for the room. Unfortunately, the spa fell short of standard practices: they didn’t offer any selection of massage oils, nor did they provide a form to ask about allergies or sensitive areas before starting. The therapist also didn’t clean my feet before beginning the massage, which is normally standard, especially as I had just come in from outside and didn’t feel completely clean. Additionally, toward the end of the massage, the therapist moved on to massage my head and face without first washing or wiping her hands. This felt quite unhygienic to me, as her hands still had oil from massaging my body and feet. This lack of attention to cleanliness was quite surprising and, in my opinion, unprofessional. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend using their spa services. That said, the staff at the reception and restaurant were friendly and helpful, which I appreciated.
