Thank you Jimmy! I was visiting NOLA for a conference. Thanks everyone for being kind and accommodating esp. last minute. I have very difficult hair, high volume thick/dense curly Mediterranean strands, and Jimmy made my hair silky smooth, low volume like I asked but airy with character ! Very very happy, highly recommend , no reservations, just go and have fun with your results

I got my hair done at Maison De Cheveux for my wedding welcome reception and Jimmy did an incredible job! My blowout lasted amazingly well from 4 pm to midnight, even with the muggy weather being outside on Bourbon Street. Jimmy was so much fun during the appointment, and gave great tips for having the style last through the night and how to prep my hair for my wedding the next day. I would highly recommend!

Just moved to New Orleans last month and needed to find a salon / stylist who could help my curly curls look their best. Allie did an AMAZING JOB!!! and I LOVE my new hair cut and color! It's easy to take care of, and the curls just fall into place. I've already gotten a few complements on my fun hair. Very nice salon, and everyone is so sweet and friendly!

I surprised my wife with an appointment st Maison De Cheveux. IFrom top to bottom, this was an awesome experience...for me and my wife. From the owner right down to the newest hire, we were treated like we were part of the family. I never thought things were rushed and they listened to every request my wife had. Expensive? Maybe...but just how much is the happiness of your spouse worth? Knowing that my wife had been struggling to find a decent stylists in our tiny town, I had no problems or second thoughts on getting her a booking. So mu h in fact, she has booked her next appointment...and I get to go visit my spirit city! Win-win!

I have been seeing Nicolle here since Spring 2015 and this is truly my holy grail salon. I lived in New Orleans for NINE years before I found Maison de Cheveux and I've never gone anywhere else since! My husband also has long hair and goes here now as well, along with many of my friends. When i first came to Nicolle I hadn't had a haircut in over two years because stylists were constantly trying to cut my hair much shorter than I wanted. Nicolle has worked with me for five years now to only cut off the very worst of the damage so I am comfortable with the length and has given me countless tips and product recommendations to get my long hair healthy and gorgeous again! One of the best pieces of advice she ever gave me was to think of applying heat to my hair like you think of grabbing a hot pan out of the oven. If you don't use a potholder, you're going to fry your hand when you grab that pan. Similarly, if you don't use products to protect your hair before applying heat, you're doing the same thing to your hair. I'm stubborn but this really sunk in and has made me protect my hair ever since. Nicolle did all the hair and makeup for my wedding (me + 6 bridesmaids + husband's hair + mothers of the bride and groom + sisters!) and she did a fantastic job, as did the stylists who assisted her that morning. They arrived at the salon at 6am and we were all out of there and on the buses to the wedding by 9am. We brought in spreads of food and champagne and had an absolutely lovely morning preparing for our brunch wedding. When you're at Maison de Cheveux you feel like you're at home and you're family. More recently, I also had them do my hair and makeup for my professional headshot and I, the least photogenic person on earth, for once actually loved how the photos turned out! The new blow dry bar is an excellent addition to the salon and allows them to provide fantastic, quick blowouts. Plus, I love that they've recently gone green and are doing their part to help protect the environment. Go here, you will not be disappointed!!

I had a terrific experience at this salon. They accommodated me with a same day appointment. I have high anxiety and everyone was gentle and supportive. Stella was my stylist and she’s warm and personable as well as very good at what she does. She took great care of my colored hair with a specially blended conditioning treatment and gave me a relaxing blowout and curl. I recommend Stella and the salon highly. I’ll be back the next time I’m in town.

Where do I even begin? I strongly advise seeking service ELSEWHERE. This salon is completely unprofessional and irresponsible. I came into this salon with heavily damaged hair, desperately seeking professional guidance. Instead, my hair was fried off. Despite being courteous, patient, and reasonable, they are brushing me off and refusing to attempt to resolve the matter with me, simply offering free product. I have now requested a full refund and have heard no response. These photos speak for themselves, but here is the full story. I am from out of town and decided to treat myself and get my hair fixed up, as I had been doing it myself for months. I was about fifteen minutes late for my apt due to unfamiliarity with the heavy traffic flow and difficulty finding the salon. I called them ahead of time and was more than happy to wait for the 15 minutes it took for the stylist (Jac) to finish another client. When we finally sat down together, I fully explained my history of bleaching my platinum hair myself, and tried to express that I was placing myself at the mercy of her expertise. I said that I wasn’t sure if I needed overall correction, just a root touch up, or what. She takes a look at my hair and says she’ll fix me up. Great! She is the professional. This is exactly why I’m here. She begins by applying bleach to my roots, and at this point I still don’t know exactly what the plan is. I ask “are we doing the whole thing?” And she goes “Oh yeah!” Wonderful! Again, this is why I am here. She knows what she is doing. She finishes my roots and sticks me under a heat lamp, then applies a lightening treatment to the rest of my hair followed by more time under the lamp. When my hair is washed out I can tell that it’s fragile and I mention this to Jac. She responds “yep, we still need to do the keratin treatment and it’ll be a lot better!” Still entirely confident in the years of experience that this stylist has accrued, I push my misgivings aside. So she does the keratin treatment and toner and says that she’ll have another stylist give me a blow out. I wasn’t terribly certain of the wisdom of brushing and blow drying my hair at this point, and I mention that I have a more natural wave. So she sticks me under the power dryer(I was charged $27 for this) I shouldn’t have, but I paid and left. Throughout the day I pulled out more and more of my hair. I called first thing the next day (a Sunday) and Brittany was nice enough to answer despite technically being closed. She was very sympathetic and assured me that they would work with me to get my money back. She offered to have me come in to look at it and send me off with free product, but this was the last day of my vacation and I had to leave by noon. I explained this to her and she was quite understanding, promising that I would hear back from her boss the next day. I receive a voicemail from the salon the next day trying to make an apt for someone else. I call back and explain and also ask to speak to a manager. The woman on the phone, Beth, says she is one and so I begin to explain. She cuts me off saying “I spoke to Jac and Nicolle and they said your hair was already pretty damaged when you came in” at this point I can see where this is going. She continues and says that this is what I said I wanted and at this point it’s between the stylist and the owner and there is nothing she can do for me. I would hear back the next day (Tuesday). I didn’t. Shocker. So I emailed them, again, politely explaining the situation. I received an email back from Beth advising me that I may use Olaplex “every day if it’s that bad” and saying they could send me more if I’d like. That was it. I sent another, extended email back expressing that I had hoped to speak directly with someone who could help me resolve this, and that the only resolution I am now comfortable with is a full refund. I doubt I will see a dime of my money back, nor hear back from the salon again. Go somewhere else.

Yelp
I had such a great experience over Halloween weekend. I had made a mistake (time zone) on my booking, but staff was super accommodating and did an excellent job on both hair and makeup. Would def return here in the future, and highly recommend you give them a try! Thanks so much!

Yelp
I scheduled an appointment online without much to go on , other than proximity to my hotel. What a pleasant surprise! I enjoyed the services and experience with Jimmy, Angela and Brittany. I have A LOT of hair, they were so patient with me, and took the time to make my hair look really nice. The vibe is very relaxed and collaborative. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment at this salon, it will be worth your time!

Yelp
This gorgeous salon has all the elegance and top notch services of a luxury salon in a big city, but what makes it even better is that it feels like you're hanging out with a bunch of forever friends as you're getting your hair done. Live out your Steel Magnolias fantasies here, y'all! And Jessica will be your Dolly Parton (true story, as I was leaving the salon yesterday, Dolly came on the sound system so I couldn't help but think about this). For my first appointment, actually even before that, I had a consultation first where she assessed my hair and we discussed what I wanted and what could be done to it. I wanted a balayage situation with purple, but my hair is almost black so it would need to be lightened... gradually because my hair is damaged/thin so she wanted to be careful. My return appointment was an entire day affair thanks to the color lifting. The purple was amazing, however once I got home, I realized it didn't take in the back and there were some orange-y spots so I called the salon. Jessica spoke to me and insisted that I come back so that she could fix it. And I was there for another two hours at no charge. Ultimately there was a small bit of hair that did not take the dye and sometimes that's going to be the case. I still loved the results and literally got compliments wherever I went. I didn't even need touching up but I went back yesterday after four months and I don't know what she did differently but this color is a gorgeous, rich dark brown with slight purple highlights. And I am in love with my haircut, too (slight shaping and trim goes such a long way). Thanks to Jessica for being such an approachable, skilled stylist (check out her Youtube channel) and Sarah and the rest of the reception staff for being so nice. I'm so happy to have the Steel Magnolias salon of my dreams here in New Orleans!

Yelp
They cancelled my appointment 5 minutes before it was scheduled for. They knew full well I was attending a wedding that day. Not even a sorry or a phone call with an explanation. I unfortunately do not advise going here, it is not a serious business if this is how they operate. I normally don't leave reviews but this was outrageous and I never want it to happen to anyone else. Go to Style House instead - wonderful salon they did an absolutely amazing job AND did my makeup flawlessly.

Yelp
On one of my few trips in New Orleans to meet with vendors for my wedding I asked around for a good salon. We came across Maison De Cheveux and as soon as I walked in the doors I was loving how cute the place was. Someone has great taste. And the place isn't so small either; plenty of staff so if I did have them handle my hair and for my girls then I was at least thinking they have enough staff and chairs. I was greeted by this lady who was dressed sexy-cute and had a great personality. I felt really comfortable so far and when she found out I am from Boca Raton, Florida I felt like it was meant to be since she used do hair (possibly owned at salon) at the Boca Raton Resort (high end for those not familiar with South Florida). Turns out she (Nicole Turner) is the owner; maybe it was meant to be. In addition to loving her attitude and the other staff also being so nice, she was offering very fair prices (not the cheapest but not overpriced either). She was willing to hold a block of open spots so my girlfriends/family could have their hair done for the upcoming wedding too. We made an appointment for another trip for me to come in and have a test run of doing my hair and makeup for a discounted rate. I returned for the test run and I described the style I wanted and she did her thing and even though it wasn't exactly what I wanted, this was excellent because now I could show her what I liked and what I didn't like and she assured me it would be perfect for the wedding day. My wedding day came and I couldn't believe it but Nicole was getting over a cold but she was a rock star. She said she can set me up with one of her best staff but she'd rather still do it if I was willing and she would wear a mask. I wanted her still since she made me so comfortable and she also had another staff member helping and together they made me look amazing. Highly recommend this salon for the knowledge, professionalism and most importantly, they made me feel special.

Yelp
I don't often give reviews but please stay away from this place. If anything they are meant for hair styling only. Not cutting, not dying, not extensions. They over-processed my hair then told me if I use enough olaplex I should be fine. If you know the hair game you know that story. My hair started breaking like crazy like 2 weeks after being dyed. As far as the extensions go, they were slipping down knitting and pulling on my hair (despite my careful application and treatment of them). More hair than necessary was falling out, my stylist admitted he used too few strands for the beads, then asked if I would go on a "hair journey" with him. Like noooo thank you. This place has talks big and looks good because the owner knows the formula to getting high up on your yelp list. I just don't want anyone to go through what I did.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience working with Jessica. She did a fabulous updo and eye makeup for a wedding I was attending. What I really appreciated was her honesty, she educated me about other hair concerned I had such as highlight (this had nothing to do with my updo consult). Even though I wasn't there to get highlight she was honest and mapped it how she would approach doing my hair because it's so dark. She took her time, and made me feel comfortable. I 100% recommend Jessica!

Yelp
We found this salon on The Knot and made appointments for a wedding party of 4 women to do hair and makeup in March of 2023. Being from out of town, we took a chance and hoped it would work out well. We could not have been more pleased with the quality of the services, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, and the total experience. They got us all in and out at the same time. I highly recommend this salon.

Yelp
This place is so amazing. The environment is so awesome . Also during covid they are following everything to a t. I feel safe also being here. But let's talk about what they do for me there. I like to have fun . My hair is an expression of that for me. Alicia who does my hair there always makes that possible. She does amazing art with my hair. If you are looking for a salon give this amazing place a try.

Yelp
Y'all! When I give praise to a business or person it is well deserved. My compliments this large don't come often! Having been a natural brunette of the darkest shade of brown there is, basically Noir, going gray from the root out with solid white hair was none too pretty. It forced me to go blonde. The process took about 10 years. I had one hair dresser who got it right but she was in Alabama. I have struggled to find a salon in New Orleans who could do it well. My gray is extremely hard to cover and there are large patches of the natural black still mixed in. Too much bleach and my hair was falling out and dry as could be. Enter my friend. She said I should go to her salon. BEST DECISION I COULD MAKE!! Maison De Cheveux is incredible. James took me on a client and went to work like a scientist finding a new cure for something. He not only did incredible things with my hair but he said the magic words "I'm not just thinking about what it will look like when you leave the salon. I am thinking about what it will look like 3 weeks from now". He also didn't use bleach and lets just say my hair is now in rehab. The owner Nicole came over and checked it out and when she saw his work she high fived him. Clint, another stylist, came over and checked it out numerous times and gave James praise. A room full of stylists practically applauded when I was complete. Maison de Chevaux is top notch and the eclectic style of the salon is so fun and chic. It's right on St Charles Avenue too! I CAN WALK THERE! This was an amazing visit with an amazing outcome! I cannot praise them enough! You leave there looking fabulous but feeling even more fabulous. They are simply wonderful! 5 stars!!!!! 100 A+!!!!

Yelp
I desperately needed a change! New to the area and needed help with my cut and color. Alicia was very nice and helpful making this change. Color is beautiful and cut is great! Feel so sassy now!!

Yelp
First of all my hair was past my butt! I don't just let anyone cut my hair, for fear of them cutting it to short and chopping it up! Alicia, not only assured me she wouldn't cut it short, but shape it up and make my hair fun and playful with length!! I cannot be more pleased with my services today and am just so pleased with my hair! Thank you again, so much Alicia!!

Yelp
Got the hair style I asked for. Professional and friendly. Only problem was that they were out of the hair product suggested for me.

Yelp
I'm in town for a wedding and with the intense heat and humidity I thought it would be wise to get an updo. I called a few days ahead of time and they were able to squeeze me in, and I even added a haircut. Clint did my haircut and Nicole did my updo. They were both super nice and did a great job with my hair. Nicole gave me hairstyling tips as she worked her magic.

Yelp
Ok so i want to do justice to this so let me start by saying that I was on a clock and on a budget. I needed to color my hair which goes down to my waist, think persian mane. I had to turn to Yelp and decided to reach out to some salons. Nicole from Maison de Cheveux reached out to me and said she could fit me in. We then spoke on call and she listened to me explain what i need for like half an hour, super patiently, asking questions when she needed to. I was really on the edge for a cut too because i didn't want to comprise on my length but still wanted a fresh style with some layers. Once we were done discussing my colour process, Nicole gave me the confidence to trust her with a hair cut too. Lo and behold, three days later I was in the seat for a miraculous service. Jimmy at Maison de Cheveux did my colour, blow and style and Nicole did my haircut. Both of them are absolutely delightful people and the salon is stunning as well. I didn't even realise i was there for like 4 hours , every minute was worth it. Not an inch of damage, unwanted cut, colour or style. They literally gave me a personalised service and accommodated me on such short notice, I really could not ask for more. They have secured a permanent customer. I think for the price point, the professionalism, the location, the services and the incredible hospitality of this amazing place in the heart of CBD, there really is no equivalent. I would recommend this hair salon to EVERYONE.

Yelp
It's really a hard pill to swallow when you're paying good money to get a simple cut and get the obligatory lectures and talking down to on basic haircare, only to have the expert (I had to pay more for the higher level stylist) turn around and use high heat up close on every inch of my very fragile hair. I was incredibly clear on the fragile condition my colored hair was in. Now I have a ton of "flyaways" sticking out at all lengths all over the place due to the length being cooked off. My longer swoop bang (which was never addressed) was cooked off to a wisp and laying limp with no body or shape. Now the texture of my hair is course and frizzy. I was never asked where I part my hair, and when I decided to announce it instead, was told "it won't matter because of how I'm cutting your hair." I was getting a blunt cut. So I'm pretty sure it does matter. I'm really not sure what the point of taking the time and money to go to an expert is. I've been successful at being gentle with my hair when brushing and drying for years now. It really isn't that hard. My whole reasoning in getting a cut was to trim off the dry and damaged at the bottom. But all that happened was that I sacrificed long hair for damaged hair all over. I would have preferred to keep my length and my money. Not to mention what I'll be spending on conditioners and smoothers while my hair stays in a bun for three months. No matter what the condition of your hair going in is, you should never leave a cut and blowout with it more damaged. Period. Like my stylist said about hair as I sat in the chair, "Once it's gone, it's gone."

Yelp
Best salon experience ever!! Brittany Bond gave my daughter magical hair for her 16th birthday!! It was her first time getting her hair dyed and Brittany made sure it was done just right. She walked us through every step and was just a fun person to spend time with!! The salon itself is fantastic! Beautiful ambiance with a delicate marriage of antique and industrial decor. First class service, highly recommended

Yelp
I love this place! They are very professional, yet a super comfortable environment and vibe. They do color better than anywhere I have been, and I especially appreciate the conditioning they use that keeps my hair staying very healthy. Recently I had wanted to try a red, changed my mind after a couple weeks, and they did a redo with brown and blonde that looks amazing. I'm a client for life!!

Yelp
I went there for a color correction. My friends recommended that salon when i talked to Nicole i trusted and decided to make an appointment. She told the other lady make sure i will be here also during her appointment. Anyways the other guy who did my hair told me he is okay he can do it. I asked him to make my hair completely blonde again and the roots gonna be JUST A LITTLE BIT DARK! Not black not chocolate just a little bit dark! But now it looks like it's been two months since i had my last hair treatment and i need to get my roots done again! Which it hasnt been that long, i was there just 3 days ago! I left salon crying and unhappy yet i paid 200$ plus 40$ tip. And he told me he was gonna talk Nicole and see what she can do to fix this but just because i tip him he must have been misunderstood the whole situation. This is a disaster.

Yelp
Claudia is my girl! Been seeing her for years. I have long thick hair and she anticipates what I want every time. I originally saw her when I moved from another city. Nervous since it's always a gamble going to someone new. She took the time to get on the same page as me and errors on less is more approach. I love this b/c you can always take more away but you can't add hair!! I've been seeing her ever since, highly recommend!

Yelp
Looking for a full service salon for your wedding? Look no further! Nicolle and her crew at MdC do it all and they do it well. I take other Yelper's advice seriously, and when I saw Ms Morgan the yelp queen herself used this salon for her wedding, I had to know more! I started with a visit for balayage. I needed blonder hair for photos but nothing too dramatic. Nicolle worked her magic and by the end of my visit that day I knew I would be in good hands for my big day! I returned to the salon for several appointments - trims, trials etc. Jeanette with the facials is a MUST for any bride or really anybody wanting a little relaxation. She gave my skin that wedding glow and also did makeup for the gals and me on our wedding day. After a small fit by bridezilla (who me? I never wear makeup so I'm a rookie) she gave me the natural face of my dreams. When Nicolle, Ali and Jeanette arrived at my hotel room on the wedding day they set up and knocked everybody out like clockwork. I was ready with time to spare and Nicolle had my hair looking the most gorgeous I could have ever hoped for. Now a note on Ms Nicolle- not only is she highly skilled and professional, but her personality is the icing on the cake for me. She is no-nonsense, which I appreciate since I'm orig from NY. She doesn't pull any punches, tells it like it is, and then sends you out into the world feeling like a million bucks. She's. The. BEST! Bonus for making it to the end of this review- the salon serves wine because RELAXATION. Win.

Yelp
Five stars for the whole experience! It was easy to request an appointment online. I received a very rapid response and was able to speak to someone directly on the phone for my "special needs" hair: color treated, Keratin treated, and extensions. I wanted a very fancy up-do and special care was needed to 1) not accidentally dislodge my extensions and 2) get my hair to retain a curl since Keratin straightens it. From the moment my foot crossed the threshold of this chic, fun, inviting salon, I knew I'd picked a winner. The decor was full of lovely color and traditional New Orleans patterns. I could lounge in a comfortable upholstered chair with my feet propped up on a footstool and I was instantly invited to have water, coffee, tea, or even wine! Clint is an amazingly talented stylist who performed a miracle on my long, slightly disheveled tresses and created an up-do masterpiece complete with braiding, rolled height in the front, tumbles of curls on the side, and bejeweled! His crafty mix of braiding and curls brought out the complimentary violet balayage and burgundy pieces, creating a symphony of shiny locks. The cost was very wallet-friendly and for a modest price I walked out of there looking like a million bucks. All night I was complimented on my hair. Definitely recommend this salon for an outstanding experience from start to finish!

Yelp
With this pandemic it's not just the quality of work and talent I search for, it's the salon's willingness to adhere to the CDC guidelines that makes me feel at ease. I always feel safe when stepping into this place. COVID-19 guidelines followed to a T! Thanks for taking such good care of my mother!

Yelp
I usually love to try out different hair colors but am scared to trust people with my hair, so I figured I'd give it a shot here after seeing their instagram and I'm SO glad I did!! This is my go-to hair salon now. They know what they're doing and are super experienced, not to mention they're extremely friendly and personable. I personally recommend Sophia, who did an AMAZING job on my hair this weekend!! She knows exactly what I want and the outcome is always way better than expected. So far I've gotten my hair done by her 3 times now from rose gold, to ashy blonde, to a silvery white and each time was beyond successful.

Yelp
If you don't feel like reading a long review, this is for you: Maison De Cheveux is the only salon in New Orleans you need to be going to. The ladies (and gentlemen) that work here are all amazing people and ridiculously talented. They want you to leave the salon nothing short of ecstatic and will do everything in their power to make you feel beautiful and special throughout the whole experience. But I can't leave it at that-I had just moved to New Orleans and found the salon through yelp. I went in for a blonde balayage and although it looked great when I left, I very quickly realized that it was not at all what I wanted. My hair (naturally brunette) was more gold/orange than blonde, and I was extremely upset about it. I ended up returning to the salon twice and the owner and staff were extremely apologetic and they did my hair all over again, only to make it even more beautiful than I had ever imagined they would, at no additional cost. I HIGHLY recommend this salon for anyone looking for amazing color or a cut. I will surely be back!!!! Thanks to everyone there who were so kind and patient with me and made my hair dreams come true :)

Yelp
called up last minute to get a blowout for a wedding on Friday evening. one of the best blowouts I've ever gotten! slick, smooth and it still looks fabulous 3 days later! Jimmy you are wonderful at your job, I wish I could have brought you home with me! Salon so cute, highly recommended you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
I went here to get hair and makeup done for a formal event. I showed a picture of what I wanted for hair first, which was an updo. I stressed at least 10 times that what I didn't want was a traditional updo with curls hanging down on both sides. After 2 different people worked on my hair, it was the most unattractive and typical updo that looked nothing like what I asked for. My makeup was also a nightmare, eyelids full of glitter that had fallen all over my face, thick black liner that took up half my lid and under eyes that were so white they glowed in every picture I took. My 8 year old could have done my makeup better. I do not recommend this salon!!

Yelp
How is it another two years?! The five stars still stand. My past reviews still stand for my personal hair-ventures and this review is more about my experience with booking them for my wedding! The women ( and men ) of Maison de Cheveux do me right and for my wedding this past weekend they made me and my loved ones sparkle! My girl, Jac, made me a beautiful blonde with the perfect streak of dark green to match my bridesmaids' skirts and my personality. We did an updo for my Friday chapel wedding hiding my little green streak, and then for my Saturday wedding, we let the green streak shine in a beautiful half up look (pictures to come). The MdC krewe (Jac, Jessica, and Jimmy) came to my AirBnB that Saturday and perfectly timed out hair and makeup appointments keeping us all stress-free and I love them for that! To be honest, I've always been a bit hesitant about getting my makeup professionally done 'cause I'm always worried about the color not being right and feeling weighed down by layers of makeup that I don't usually wear. Jessica, you are a lady magician. She perfectly matched my skin tone, contoured, and gave me a classic look that didn't look overdone. And another aspect that is incredibly important to me is that my face didn't break out the next day, so I can tell they're using good products. I couldn't have been more happy with how I looked at both my wedding ceremonies, and can't thank this team of professionals enough! Highly suggest them for all occasions!

Yelp
I flew in from out of town and desperately needed a hair appt, and they were flexible enough to accommodate my very tight schedule. Saw Clint and he did a fab job on my color and cut. The next day, the lady sitting next to me at my conference spontaneously leaned over and told me she loved my hair and would kill to have that color! So thanks Clint!

Yelp
HANDS DOWN THE BEST BLONDE IVE EVER SEEN. Im very fortunate I get to come here now because NICOLLE , you took your time in understanding what it is I'm looking for and you took your time in the process so my hair looks super healthy. Now that I know You're a full service salon and day spa I'm scheduling to have a facial and get my nails done while I get my hair processed next time. And the blow dry bar is the bomb my sis is booking her wedding party there next week

Yelp
Would give zero stars if I could. I said that I wasn't sure if I needed overall correction, just a root touch up, or what. She takes a look at my hair and says she'll fix me up. Great! She is the professional. This is exactly why I'm here. She begins by applying bleach to my roots, and at this point I still don't know exactly what the plan is. I ask "are we doing the whole thing?" And she goes "Oh yeah!" Wonderful! Again, this is why I am here. She knows what she is doing. She finishes my roots and sticks me under a heat lamp, then applies a lightening treatment to the rest of my hair followed by more time under the lamp. When my hair is washed out I can tell that it's fragile and I mention this to Jac. She responds "yep, we still need to do the keratin treatment and it'll be a lot better!" Still entirely confident in the years of experience that this stylist has accrued, I push my misgivings aside. So she does the keratin treatment and toner and says that she'll have another stylist give me a blow out. I wasn't terribly certain of the wisdom of brushing and blow drying my hair at this point, and I mention that I have a more natural wave. So she sticks me under the power dryer(I was charged $27 for this) I shouldn't have, but I paid and left. She cuts me off saying "I spoke to Jac and Nicolle and they said your hair was already pretty damaged when you came in" at this point I can see where this is going. She continues and says that this is what I said I wanted and at this point it's between the stylist and the owner and there is nothing she can do for me. I would hear back the next day (Tuesday). I didn't. Shocker. So I emailed them, again, politely explaining the situation. I received an email back from Beth advising me that I may use Olaplex "every day if it's that bad" and saying they could send me more if I'd like. That was it. I sent another, extended email back expressing that I had hoped to speak directly with someone who could help me resolve this, and that the only resolution I am now comfortable with is a full refund. I doubt I will see a dime of my money back, nor hear back from the salon again. Go somewhere else.

Yelp
Alicia is Amazing! I totally went with her suggestions on a color and a haircut, and I'm so glad I did! This was my first time at the salon, and I will definitely be back. Thank you!

Yelp
The stylist who did my hair was great! Very talkative and made me feel comfortable being a new client. She got my hair to the blonde that I wanted doing a different technique than Iv been doing. Unfortunately, after a week or two I realized why I always just got full head highlights. My hair now looks multiple different colors and it's driving me insane. Also, I was beyond shocked of the amount I was charged at the end of my 4.5 hr appointment. Never have I paid $300 for just color and blow dry. Of course I know needing toner or anything else would cost extra. I still never paid that much. I didn't even get a hair cut. But with all that being said the salon was very nice and clean. Most of the staff was friendly. Just one female stylist was rude but not to me. Mainly to the other employees. Even though I loved the stylist who I had I will not be coming back.

Yelp
Great service from start to finish. My request was answered at an ungodly hour and I was in the same morning getting a great haircut by Alicia. Working with my unpredictable schedule was a huge plus. My haircut was EXACTLY how I wanted it and that never happens!

Yelp
Clint is AMAZING! He is an artist. My hair is alive again. The scenery is clean and well kept. The shampoo station isn't cluttered like most places.

Yelp
Brittany and her team were an absolute DREAM. Our bridal party looked so gorgeous. We all did what felt right to us - super glam to a bit more natural, and it was all amazing. I can't say enough about their kindness, promptness and fun attitude. It was everything we could have wanted!!

Yelp
This was literally the greatest experience I have ever had going to salon in my 25 years on Earth! Allie Artigue was the best hair stylist I have ever had in a long time, she made my hair feel young and fresh and brand new. The color that she did complete 360 on my color and made it brand new. I have been trying to grow out my hair for a while now after one bad haircut to the next, but this girl and salon literally gave my hair life again. My hair is curly and wavy so the cut I have received in the past from other salons has never met up to my dream haircut. But today I feel fresh and new and it feels amazing. Thank you to everyone at the salon for being so welcoming and really making the experience for me!

Yelp
Claudia is AMAZING! I'm new to NO and have been too afraid to find a stylist. I've been traumatized by bad cuts in the past. Claudia made me feel so comfortable and was very thorough with communicating exactly what I wanted. She really wanted to be sure I'd be happy when I left the salon. I have very long hair and she knew exactly how to give me movement lightness without taking too much off. Only thing I didn't like was the manager interrupted my cut to discuss the purchase of wine for the salon. I think this could of waited till I was out do the chair. Not taking off any stars since Claudia is amazing, but manager was a little unprofessional in my eyes. All in all my anxiety is gone, I have a great cut, and a new stylist is NOLA! Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Great experience! I was lucky enough to meet the owner of this super cute salon at a New Orleans Chamber event. I showed her a photo of color I wanted and she assured me her salon could take care of me. Senior stylist, Clint was so flexible and fit me Saturday for a cut and color. I'm loving it!!! He listened to everything I wanted and talked me through what he was thinking. He did a great job and was super nice to boot! I got a great cut of long layers and ombré color! Would definitely recommend this place! They have the main salon as well as a dry bar if you're looking for that...the ambiance has a cute boutique feel with a open layout. I got to see an awesome unicorn color applied from start to finish and it looked fabulous! They do both men and women and I also overheard them talking about their makeup services. Seems like a great one stop shop for all your pampering needs.

Yelp
I LOVED my experience here! I made a last minute appointment prior to my engagement party and got my hair done with James/Jimmy/Jamie (he goes by all three!). He was amazing... I can be really picky about my hair/makeup looks and I'm so used to getting ready myself that I often choose to do my own look. Given that it was an engagement party, my mom suggested I let someone else do my hair and I begrudgingly agreed. I find that most times when I get my hair done, I show someone a look that I want and I am often not satisfied with the final result. Jimmy was such a great communicator - he asked me for my feedback often and tried a few different looks once my hair was done, and he was SO open to my suggestions. I felt like he truly listened to what I wanted and he gave the exact look I asked for. 100000% recommend this salon and recommend him. Thanks so much Jimmy!

Yelp
Have no idea about the aptitude of the hairdressers. However can speak with certainty about the attitude of everyone I came into contact with. Sign said walk-in's welcome. So I walked in and wrote my name on a list. EVERYONE in the place totally ignored me. Regular customer walks in, was told to have a seat at a hair washing bowl. I then stood up and announced that I was right here and could use some help please because I am a human being, In a conversational tone. Someone got up and took my number. They later called and stated that they did not have an appointment until 6 days later, NEVER MIND!!!
