Maison de Tet Decor

One of the worst and disgusting cafe's I have ever been to in my life, not alone in Hanoi. I came here looking at the positive reviews but those are clearly FAKE. They served water in glass with chewing gum INSIDE. Literally how can a cafe let the tourists have such a disgusting experience. We ordered oven baked chicken with parmesan cheese from the large plates section. But it was DEEP FRIED and not oven baked. The potatoes were smelling FOUL OIL. If you care 1% about health and cleanliness, AVOID THIS SCAM PLACE. Quiet unbelievable of this place to make it to the must try places of the city. After all this, any normal cafe should have the basic decency to not charge customers for the AWFUL service but guess they don't have any shame in accepting payments for half consumed food and chewing gum dissolved water. Also attaching some images to show the true reality of the place. And wait the lake view is actually lake of a nearby property. Complete sham and scam. Decide for yourself! Absolutely not recommended.

The food is definitely on the healthier side. But perhaps this is the reason it taste a little underseasoned. We had the Bun Cha Chicken Salad, the Avocado Toast and a Panini Avocado, Bacon and Cheese. The Panini was kinda tasteless. Coffee was alright. Definitely be here for healthy options. Oh, we also had a slice of the GF Choco Banana Bread with their homemade passionfruit jam. It was alright too.

What a lovely place! We love that you can either seat on the terrasse, the balcony, inside downstairs or upstairs! All the rooms are so nicely and peacefully decorated, the atmosphere is great. We love their juices (I always forget the name but our favorite is the orange one on my picture) and we especially love their quinoa and salmon dish. I tried the chicken panini as well, very good. This place is a gem!

Mixed about this place, view is nice and so are the drinks. The bowls are not great. All items are expensive for Hanoi even counting for the organic premium. There are alternative to get much better bowls and the detox drinks at much lower price points. What takes away from the view is the very loud and busy street as well… Maybe brunch is better here

Was expecting a totally different place before come to the place. It’s actually juts a cafe on 2nd level of a building. Which the coffee and food is okay decent . If in the area, can just relax awhile, but not to go purposely to the place

This gorgeous place is alongside the Intercontinental hotel following a path that leads to the restaurant and was probably our most favourite place to eat breakfast/brunch whilst in Hanoi!! The decor was beautiful and the staff were super helpful and friendly. I had the ricotta passion fruit pancakes which were so good and my family had the vegetarian breakfast and eggs Benedict. The juices and coffee were also great. We sat upstairs and enjoyed the view from inside the balcony and the free wifi. Would highly recommend a visit. x

Great coffee shop across from a park. The cafe is has an olden day Vietnamese style of decor. I got a mixed juice which was very big and tasted fresh.

Even though riding bikes passing the place for years, I never thought of getting in cause of the hot balcony outside... not until one day my hubby asked me to. What a cozy lovely place this is!!! Atmosphere is great, having both outdoor & indoor seats, also air-con 2nd floor - whatever you choose, is fine. Food are delicious, I can’t help coming back the next week for the fruit toast :) others’ dishes are also yummy. Definitely a Yes for all day b’fast, chill out weekend in West lake. Another pros is the Quang Ba playground/small park just cross the street, so you can enjoy the coffee whilst having an eye on your kids.
