Maison d’hôtes La Fabrique Alpes de Haute Provence

My husband and I went to this beautiful place and spent three magical days. The facilities are just amazing, the views breathtaking. The food was superb, better than anything we had while traveling in Provence. They bake fresh croissants and baguettes every morning, and they have homemade jams in different flavors along with freshly picked berries and peaches from their trees. We had dinner there twice and they were both fantastic. We dined alfresco in the most beautiful setting with beautiful views everywhere . The experience was just exquisite.||La Fabrique is a beautiful building that was once a hydroelectric plant and it has been converted to an amazing B&B. It has five beautiful guest rooms. Our bedroom was very large with a beautiful bathroom and a private balcony. The views from everywhere were just stunning.||The price is very reasonable for what you get and the people are just kind and generous. |I am always amazed how people make such an effort to speak English to us Americans, who don’t speak any other foreign language. ||Florence and her husband run the place, they do all the cooking and treated us guests with respect and kindness.||The place is impeccably clean. We hope to come back!❤️

A very nice place with helpful proprietor. Excellent breakfast.. croissants fabulous. Bread very good. She served a great dinner one night, which I highly recommend. Family room comfortable and large . No air conditioning.

We had a fantastic time at La Fabrique. Christian and Florence were very welcoming and flexible. The building is beautiful and we definitely recommend joining for the ‘table d’hôtes’ - the food was delicious and we had great company with the other guests!

Highly recommended - a true hidden gem! Beautifully restored property with fabulous views over the valley. The breakfast was lovely with home grown fruit and home-made yoghurt. A few steps up and you're in the village.

Perfect. If you are going to see the gorge du verdun, you cannot miss this place. Also it’s wildly affordable. And it’s walkable to the lovely town center. Breakfast is included and it is fresh and delicious. We ate ripe figs from the tree in the garden. I can’t say enough good things. Thank you Florence!

The is the warmest B&B stay I have ever had. Every part of the journey from getting there to leaving, was perfect. Florence, our host, was warm & lovely throughout the entire time. Actually everyone there from her husband to the rest of the team was so sweet. They all had such relaxed & calm aura about them that made you automatically feel at home. ||I booked La suite familiale for my husband and I, and two other close friends. I also booked La chambre standard for two other close friends, a couple; the room was right next door to La suite familiale. This was perfect since our group wanted to be together. The views from the rooms were gorgeous. It really felt like living in a fairytale. Florence and her husband keep a lush garden right outside and hills and greenery that extend beyond the garden. ||The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and there were enough pillows. The shower room was so pretty too with the open concept shower and a little plant by the window! There were so many details in every room of that B&B - the tiles in the bathroom, the indoor plants, the armoires, the doors, the mirrors. Everything.||Our stay was too short as we stayed only a couple nights. We left Sunday but enjoyed a breakfast outside before we left. They served croissants, other breads, yogurt with fresh apricot compote, coffee, and more. It was really a relaxing way to say farewell.||I am so impressed with how they built this place. It's incredibly beautiful and definitely a one of a kind gem! I want to come back one day - Hopefully sooner rather than later!

We booked for 3 nights in August 22. The hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking spaces. The property is amazing and the hosts have done a fantastic job of renovating this building into a unique destination. You get the wow factor as soon as you enter the main building with a massive open plan living space with high ceilings.||the bedroom was large and comfortable with views out across the countryside. The rooms were always nice and cool despite it being 35+ outside. It is only a short walk to the centre of the village but you need a torch to get back if you are out after dark. Breakfast was usually in the main hall on the long communal dining table and was always tasty with fresh yoghurt and bread.
