This was supposed to be a nothing special stopover during our two-week road trip through the south of France, but it ended up being our favorite place we stayed. Make it a point to stay at least two nights here because one is not enough.||||A beautiful old building which used to be a mill and then a ceramics factory converted into a fabulous inn with large spacious rooms, tastefully decorated with stylish amenities. The owners spent several years remodeling the building and they did a terrific job creating a contemporary loft-style space while preserving the charm of the original structure. The grounds are picturesque and there is a nice outdoor deck overlooking the valley for relaxing and enjoying a cocktail. The creek, which cascades over a series of waterfalls through the heart of the town, flows through the property and creates a peaceful ambiance. Conveniently located, it's a short walk to the heart of the town and lots of great shops and restaurants.||||Don't miss the breakfast. It was easily the best we had on the trip. Fresh eggs, homemade yogurt and jams, fresh fruit and delicious croissants and baguettes.
