Maison du Val – Les Maisons de Campagne

FABULOUS. We haven't gone back since a year or two and were pleasantly surprised that service & food are still 5 stars. My husband who can't eat meat had quite a variety of salads. Appreciated having a fish option in all meals. We had only planned to stay 1 night but ended up extending. If there was sauna and some basic gym equipment, we probably would've stayed even longer :)

This place is a real gem in our busy world. Quiet and beautiful, incredible food and the very caring service. We spent around a week there with our 2 kids, and they had so much fun in the Kids club and on the territory. After Paris and Disneyland, this amazing place really seemed like a paradise to all of us, a place to breathe, take it easy and chill. It has a magical atmosphere of calm and serenity. Very thoughtful team, a lot of small details that we truly appreciated (notebooks as gifts, when we were leaving at 7 am to the airport they brought us breakfast , however it wasn’t supposed to be served before 8 am! And more and more). We had the best time there!!! And will for sure come back with more family. Thank you so much! Ps. The massage was the best as well!

We have experienced all-inclusive stay in France for the first time. And in this hotel that was amazing. We spent here few days. Hotel is located in beautifull place far from the city noise, and you can enjoy fresh air and nature beauty even in hotel territory. Impressive hotel interior, equiped with good design. Superior food served many times during a day. Staff very attentive and helpful, altought only few could communicate in english. Superior double room spacious, very comfortable bed, clean. Nice walking directions to Saint Germain: in ca 6km forest walking trip you can reach castle, enjoy impressive Paris views on a way and come back to hotel. I would recommend this hotel especially for families with small children, there are a lot of activities for them.

Overall amazing! My wife and I spent a week end there last week with our daughter. She is 7, and this place is truly amazing. It’s an all inclusive place. There are 3 buffet meals, plus 1 snack around 4pm, every single item is home made, dishes, cakes, macarons, crepes, even the chocolate spread made by a pastry chef. The alcohol is on open bar, and there is also non alcoholic. The concierge Francois and the manager Sara are looking after you at any time of the day and night thank you to them. There are outdoor games, table tennis, football, hot tubs, trampoline, lovely little bicycle carts ( Rosalies) and you are at the gate of a forest , there is no sound, it’s quiet, family friendly. It feels like the best week end of the end of the vacation with family, when there is tension because everyone seizes the moment knowing it won’t last. The kids clubs is great, there is also a pool table, baby foot, flipper, and home cinema. The rooms are honestly so-so, but you truly pay not to spend a minute inside. The showers are a bit depressing. But it’s all fine, because it’s so peaceful and you rest so well there ! Thank you, we will see each other again !!

Perfect two day stay. The place is lovely and peaceful but well placed to visit St Germain by bike (walking would be less convenient). The concept is great: very welcoming and relaxing. We played ping pong, billiards, watched a film in the cinema, read our books on the loungers in the vast garden, enjoyed the great food and went for a run in the woods. The staff were all friendly and helpful : I liked being treated like a human being rather than a customer……..thank you so much for our staycation (we only live 17km away 😀).

We just returned from our second stay at Maison du Val, and once again, it was absolutely amazing—we didn’t want to leave! It’s such a perfect escape from the city, and the best part is that it’s so easy to get to from central Paris. Just a quick ride on the RER A, and within an hour you’re surrounded by the most stunning grounds, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The setting is absolutely breathtaking. The lush greenery and beautiful landscape make you feel like you’re in the countryside, even though Paris is so close by. Whether you’re exploring the grounds or just relaxing, it’s a stunning place to unwind. One of the highlights for us was the Sunday brunch—it’s simply incredible! The variety and quality of the food were top-notch, and it really felt like a special experience. We could’ve stayed at the table for hours just enjoying the delicious offerings. For families, Maison du Val is a dream. The kids’ club and activities kept our little ones entertained the whole weekend. They had a blast with all the fun things to do, and it gave us adults some much-needed downtime to enjoy the other amenities. Speaking of which, there’s so much to do! The game rooms, cinema, and Nordic bath were huge hits for us, and all these free facilities really make the stay interesting and packed with activities. Whether you want to relax or keep busy, there’s something for everyone. As for the rooms, they’re not overly luxurious, but they’re comfortable and have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Given all the other amazing aspects of the hotel, the rooms were perfectly fine for us. All in all, Maison du Val continues to be one of our favorite weekend getaways. We can’t wait to return again and enjoy everything it has to offer! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat close to Paris.

I recently attended an off-site meeting at Maison du Val with my colleagues. What a beautiful place. Charming, sophisticated and ancient, yet breathing simplicity, warm hospitality and impeccable service. I highly recommend this place for work retreats, couple or family week-ends or glamping. How nice to walk on those beautiful grounds among centennial trees! Some parts of the estate are preserved for wilderness and biodiversity. A special mention to the chef who has prepared excellent treats for us and who has warmly welcomed all of his guests.

Coincidence is the spice of life! I happen to read a small write up on Elle magazine about this place, on the same day I was invited to do hike at the amazing forest at Saint- Germain-en-Laye, so I figure why not spend the night. ||This lovely Chateau does not disappoint, beautiful entry, easy ride from the train station and right by the forest. ||François was most welcoming and took us to the outstanding library while we waited for our room to get ready. They had a complimentary refreshments available which made us feel right at home. ||Ours was probably the entry level room, but is was fresh, modern and a decent size, with excellent bed and bedding, and luxurious robes provided for our stay. Bathroom was fresh and bright with great shower and deliciously soft towels. ||Dinner was very good, though dessert needs a little work. ||The breakfast buffet was lovely, and the Jura coffee machine was definitely a huge plus. Thank you for the special attention given, by I believe the chef. ||We loved the vibe and the excellent warm service given by the staff. ||I will most likely return.
