Wonderfully warm and stylish art nouveau building hosted by Vincent. I stayed early in June to be close to the places where my Grandfather had fought during WW1 and also to visit Bruges. The property is walking (5mins) close to no 71 tram to get to Brussels centrale (take direction of De Brouckère !) I had the king suite with balcony and a bathtub and felt very comfortable and happy in my surrounds. Linen sheets and duvet cover, delicious simple homemade breakfast. Vincent has created a beautiful space for his guests to feel at home, merci beaucoup 🤗

I wish I didn’t have to write this, but unfortunately I received no further response from Vincent, and I now feel compelled to go to the police. We are a family who stayed in the green room at Maison Flagey Brussels for two nights, with our one-year-old daughter — while the elevator was out of order, which already made things quite difficult for us. The total agreed price for our stay was €380, which we paid in full. However, a second payment of €190 was taken from our account **without any explanation or authorization**. I contacted Vincent several times to try to resolve this matter, but he has not replied and has not refunded the sum. If this was a mistake, one might expect at least a basic explanation — but the silence raises serious concerns. One could legitimately ask: Is this intentional? Is it fraud? Guests should be warned. I unfortunately can’t recommend this place under these circumstances.

If you are interested in the Art Nouveau movement then you must stay at Maison Flagey as it's a beautifully preserved Art Nouveau house. The house and rooms are lovely. It is just by the park and lakes and is well served by public transport. The host, Vincent, couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

I was fortunate to visit this amazing place while traveling through Europe with family. The host Vincent was incredibly welcoming, and the accommodation was full of great energy, and decorated beautifully. Our room was immaculate, and we enjoyed looking out to the surrounding gardens and mosaic. The living space was filled with beauty, and I was fortunate to play the piano situated there. Vincent always has a story to tell about the place, and the piano was no exception, with enthusiasum he explained its history, for which he did with much of the building, as each object held significance and a rich history. I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful and magical place. 5 stars. 🌟 From Harry and Caroline

Hotel is beautiful and worth to experience! The building itself is historic and carries art nouveau style. Area around the hotel is calm and lovely. There is a park right next to hotel where people are jogging and relaxing. Neighbourhood is calm and quiet. I highly recommend to walk around the pond. Tram and bus connections are also available and are located close by the hotel. The service is welcoming and lovely. You can have a breakfast in the hotel too. Every month a music concert is organised in the hotel. We were lucky to be around during that time. You can also participate the concert if you want.

This small guest house in the Ixil area of Brussels is a homage to art neauveau. It is a beautifully restored townhouse full of original details and rivals the gaudi buildings in Barcelona. Staying here is like staying in an ander gallery. I stayed in the impressive suite - complete with real gold and mosaic shower and roll top bath. For the quality of the building I did not find the room rates expensive. I booked directly and my stay came with a modest yet high quality full organic breakfast. The owner was incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable on the architectural and interior styling of the 1900-1930s. The only negative point was the limited check in time - only 5pm-8pm. I suppose for those with heavy luggage the lack of elevator could also be problematic.

What an incredible space designed by Art Nouveau architect Victor Horta and lovingly restored as a bed and breakfast. Our room was spacious and so pleasing to the eye. It is situated across from a beautiful park with a pond and ducks. I can not recommend this place enough.

Maison Flagey is a small house, privately owned, in a superb surrounding. The owner made efforts to arrange the building work style and taste. And he did terrific job!||Instead of another hotel go top this place. You will feel like in a fairytale. Unique arrangements, unique details, home made soap (!) with strong fruity scent. Attention to details. It's not another hotel. It's adventure!||
