The best way to explore Brussels' opulent Art Nouveau past is on a streetcar - SilverKris

"Jules Brunfaut’s only Art Nouveau building, recently reopened as a museum, fuses the owners’ passions into an otherworldly house: an indoor greenhouse that spills into the façade, Symbolist frescoes and bas-relief panels, and striking staircase murals combine to create a richly atmospheric example of turn-of-the-century decorative art." - Clodagh Kinsella

Quite an experience. Beautiful house, fair price and not too short or to long of a visit. Just the perfect place to visit and enjoy Art Nouveau. The tickets includes a very informative audio guide. Yo can only visit 3 floors of the house. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Thanks for the experience!

Art nouveau lovers, this is a must-see. Highly recommend the audio guide for additional information. It's a short visit but beautiful restored house.

The staircase and frescoes in this historical art nouveau house are so dramatic and beautiful that they put the rest of the house somewhat in the shadow. Restoration works are still ongoing so hopefully soon we can enjoy more of this stunning house but when I visited in July I found the visit to be relatively brief compared to the entrance fee.

Beautiful and lovingly restored this marvel of Art Nouveau is ideal for a short visit. Currently (Autumn 2025) it also houses an eclectic exhibition on Symbolism. I visited on Sunday noon and find a bit crowded, yet managed to thoroughly enjoy it.

Beautiful place with great explanations available through QR codes. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that the visit felt a bit short. You can explore the first and second floors, but the upper levels are closed to the public - I just wish we could have seen more.

Beautifully restored- a special space from the bay windows to the sweeping staircase, and the murals. This is one of best Horta houses I’ve seen. The details of the woodwork in the doors, framed windows and the banisters are amazing. Can’t wait till it’s completed and the upper floors are open.

A beautiful art nouveau style house. Tickets have timed entry and not open everyday so it is best to book in advance. Well worth the visit.

Beautiful art nouveau building. People were super helpful and there is an audio guide for the house. However i think it would be better if it would be more focused in the process of crafting (building and furniture) than the renovation process -which is still interesting and they have a nice explanation.
