Maison Jullian

This was a gem of a place. Ideally situated on the edge of town but near enough to walk along the canal and into the centre. The food was really beautifully presented and delicious. We sat outside in the garden to eat which couldn’t have been more idyllic. Perfect end to our trip to the Languedoc.

A lovely experience! I chose this place as it was offering something different...a Sunday Brunch..and was not disappointed. There was a good selection of dishes, both savoury and sweet, lovely breads and juices. I liked all the dishes, my favourites being the salmon, the eggs and the carrot cake. Although it was a buffet, the staff were attentive and the dishes were quickly replenished. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will certainly look to return.

What a delight! Maison Jullian exudes elegance from the moment you step through the front gate. The hotel is an architectural marvel and its owners, Candy and Charles, are the ultimate hosts. When you stay make sure you include dinner with your reservation. Each course out done by the next, all perfectly balanced and a delight for the tastebuds and the eyes. Breakfast was the equal of dinner. Everything delicious. My only regret; that I wasn’t staying longer.

I have stayed in many luxury hotels and Airbnbs. Maison Julian is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed. Candy and Charlie, the owners, have a great flair for design. Also, they are amazing hosts - attentive, friendly and very professional. Breakfast is served in the most stunning room in the chateau with stained glass windows overlooking their beautiful garden, a dome with hand-painted wallpaper and an enormous glass chandelier. We also had dinner at Maison Julian, which was delicious too. I struggle in France as a vegetarian, but Maison Julian caters for veggies! We will return! Merci Beaucoup Candy and Charlie for making our stay so special.

Maison Jullian is a very elegant, charming place, a really good option if you want to have a calm, relaxing stay. The owners are friendly, kind, and have great taste. The location is very convenient whether you travel by car or by train. We will definitely visit again!

Beautiful, welcoming and relaxed. By far the best food we had in Beziers. An absolute gem right next to the Canal Du Midi. Thank you Candy and Charles for being incredible hosts!

I already cannot wait to return to Maison Jullian and experience Candy and Charles’s hospitality once again. My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon with a gorgeous, unforgettable stay. We were first blown away by the beautiful setting, the house feels like a fairytale. Each room is so tasteful and full of unique vintage pieces – I have come away so inspired by the décor. The garden and pool were the perfect place to relax after a full-on period of organising a wedding, and it was hard to peel ourselves away. The location was completely suited to our needs and enhanced our relaxation, only a twenty-minute drive from the airport, it was so convenient and walkable to the lovely bars and restaurants of Béziers. The breakfast is the best I have ever experienced – beautifully presented, Charles only uses the finest ingredients which all sing on every plate. I cannot stop talking about the breakfast to anyone who will listen. We also opted for the table d'hôtes which was exquisite, Charles’s famous chocolate mousse is not to be missed. Again, beautifully presented and prepared. The drinks selection and wine list are of top quality, and Charles’s knowledge of wines, their makers and sourcing local wines was much appreciated. Candy made us feel so welcome and her recommendations were brilliant, we followed her advice consistently and as a result had the best time! The combination of luxury, peace and down-to-earth hosts ticked all of our boxes. I cannot speak more highly of our experience and we will come back soon. We already miss the sweet cat Chat chou.

Beautifully renovated place in Béziers. Mainly a tea, coffee place but also serve lunch and brunch on Sunday. Nice place to sit and relax. Tea is good, my cup of white coffee was ok, a tad on the light side and luke warm. The desserts were tasty but not wow factor. Charming and relaxing place overall.
