Maison Leblanc (Restaurant & Boucherie)

Service was good by Belgian standards. I ordered a fillet and was slightly disappointed. Even though I did not order the most expensive item on the menu, the steak was full of tendons. The quality of meat that I would risk, buying in the cheaper section in the supermarket. From a butcher/restaurant I definitely would have experience more.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The concept is so unique—you enter through the boucherie, and behind it is a cozy, hidden restaurant. Ivan, our waiter, was incredibly attentive and made the visit even more enjoyable. The dry-aged meat was exceptional—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor—and the bone marrow was a delicious and indulgent addition. A truly memorable experience with outstanding food, service, and atmosphere!

We've visited this restaurant several times for their exceptional selection of meats! It's always a pleasure to dine here; the staff is incredibly friendly. Definitely not the spot for vegans, but an absolute must-visit for meat lovers.

The meat was unquestionably delicious. A little bit pricey but you have a fine dining experience. I give 4 because the stuff were “too attentive” to an extent I can’t enjoy my food anymore

Cool location behind a butcher shop. Meat is good, but not extraordinary, which you might expect from its location. The staff is friendly and swift. Wines are good.

Loved it. Service was excellent. Food was beautiful. An amuse Bouche was served however neither my wife or myself caught the description. Our best guess was mushroom soup along with mozzarella and cherry tomatoe. My wife declared her os a moelle the best thing she has ever eaten. I started with the foie gras terrine which was delicious. I followed that with a wagyu steak. It was perfectly cooked and succulent as expected. My wife had steak tartar which was elegantly cut lean beef, presumably bleu blanc belge. These mains were accompanied by proper Belgian chips cut in house and cooked in beef dripping and a lovely fresh mayonnaise. To end our night we had the curtius sorbet, inspired by a local beer, and a dame Blanche. I understand the deserts were not made in house but the ice cream was quite delicious. At the end of the day the food is not the most complicated, however the care with which it was prepared made for a very special evening.

Great place with damn good steaks. The staff is friendly and speaks Dutch. A place you need to go when in Liege

The manager (bald man) was extremely rude to us when he showed his angry face, loudly speaking and unfriendly attitude during our order. The 50-day dry-aged beef was totally a disaster because they were tough, tasteless, burned (overcooked) with hard tendon, and was served without any sauces. We wonder why a butcher like him has not learned how to work (and behave well) at a restaurant and serve people with good beef. I and my family felt very disappointed about his rude and terrible quality of beef. I don't want others feel like us.

Rockstar steakhouse: a part of the former butchery was refurbished to host guests and offer them an insanely delicious variety of meat cuts, straight from the butchery next door. The service was enthusiastic and they use tablets to show you the food and wine selection. The steaks were savoury and the sides and sauces were yummy too. Definitely highly recommended when you would like to eat a nice peace of beef in Liège.

A modern Liegeois meat restaurant hidden behind the family butcher shop of more then five generations. We arrived without reservation but they managed to give us a little table anyway, and when admitting we wanted to eat Liegeois meatballs - a classic but in this restaurant a children's menu - in stead of the quality aged meat they sell, they altered the children's portion to a grownup one with a smile. Meat was good (huge!), service swell. Decor a bit Milanese tacky.
