We had such lovely service from the gentleman who ran this shop. So kind and friendly that we came back twice to buy more souvenirs. He was happy to speak English and tell us a little about himself and the beauty of the town.

Very reasonably priced, great assortment of teas and drinks! Highly recommend the hotel chocolate with e'spices (reminded me of Christmas!) and spiced chai. Be ready to wait as sometimes there is only one person manning the cafe and he is really doing his best!!

We had a wonderful coffee and wine here since we only visited during the teashop time. Jean- Francois and Lydia are wonderful, warm people and I loved the art and conversation that Jean- Francois offered. Beautiful space and warm atmosphere - people would join into song at times and it was great to spend a moment to slow down here. Check out the jewelry that is handmade in the shop section as well!

This is a quaint (and apparently historical) little place with garden at the back. We very much enjoyed our lunch there during a day trip to Dijon. The pork we had (marinated in soy sauce and coriander) was particularly tasty. Service was ok. Worth a stop.

Traditional food at its best in Dijon. Place: it is on an alley on the side to notre dame cathedral in Dijon. The place is beautiful and very traditional, so is it decorated. It is charming. Service: you need to book here for dinner, we did by luck. The service is super kind they are young people that is looking forward to help you and recommend you the best. However they are only 2 and they lack sometimes attention Food: Starters, snails and poached eggs on wine souce. The scargots were one of the most beautiful things I have ever tried. Covered on a freshly made puff pastry. If you come here just try it. The eggs were also good but compared to the snails was nothing. Mains. seabreem with a risotto and Turkey with potatoes and roasted vegetables. Both perfectly cooked. Lacked a bit of extra taste on the turkey. Dessert: creme brule and caramelized pumpkin with mascarpone cheese. Just one word, delicious. I strongly recommend this place. Great value, authentic cuisine and kind service.

Charming interior, good and efficient service. Traditional local cuisine, and great value as well. Just by the side of famous lucky awl. The wine we had was delicious and not expensive at all.

Very interesting and cozy place to buy something from Dijon and also take a rest and enjoy with coffee & fresh cakes. During weekends to eat in restaurant it's better reserv it

What a time machine. Medieval cafe with eclectic art, unusual decor and casual feel. Amazing experience. Great choice to sit for an afternoon chat or just to take a load off.

Yelp
We had an excellent meal here the other evening; I wish that this restaurant were local to me so that I could repeat it, more frequently. The biggest challenge was choosing options on the menu, as there were very many enticing options. I began with escargot, in a delicate broth served in bowl covered by a puff pasty. My main course was a very well-prepared duck that has not escaped my thoughts, since.

Yelp
This is a very cute English style tea house in the historic city center. You can have a full meal or just a snack. Ice cream is also available. We had dessert and coffee. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating in the garden. The garden area is lovely and there are even shades available if it begins to rain or if it is too sunny. We began eating outside and then moved inside. If you are coming during the summer, I recommend making a reservation as it is a popular spot. The restaurant is dog friendly. Service was warm. English is spoken.

Yelp
We were lucky to get in without a reservation but I recommend a reservation if you can. It is at the top of the stairs and it had a very lovely atmosphere. The place had tons of history to it and is a historic landmark. The food came up from downstairs via dumbwaiter. My husband was dying to have the boeuf burguignon and this seemed like the best place. We were not disappointment. We started off with the cassolette of snails. It had a nice rich mushroom cream sauce with a flaky pastry baked over the top. The boeuf burguignon was so moist and tender and the sauce was a very nice rich flavor without being too cloying. I had the Pikeperch with mustard and blackberry cream. It was very moist and had a great crust to it. The mustard with the blackberry cream was superb and was such a great compliment to each other. I had the chocolate fondant and it was so rich and delicious!! The wine was wonderful and had a great selection. The staff were very helpful and friendly!

Yelp
While in Burgundy, I felt I simply must have boeuf burguignon. Here, I was not disappointed. The restaurant is in the old section of the city and is a historical landmark building. The plates came up to the second floor on a dumbwaiter. Cool. The service was more friendly than most, perhaps because she was young and I smiled a lot, ha ha. We had mushroom soup, which was creamy and tasty, and had very strong mushroom flavor. The cream did not dull the soup at all. The cheese tart with salad was a bit soggy. The beouf bourguignon was fantastic. The beef was fork tender (a must) and the sauce was deep and rich and lacquered. Even the wines that we picked, 2 different glasses of white, and a Marsannay were very good. Very good meal!
