Hotel Art by the Spanish Steps UNA Esperienze, a Design Boutique Hotel Rome, Italy

"This spectacular converted chapel is now home to the Hotel Art by the Spanish Steps. A daringly modern which takes its name from its artistic décor and its fantastic location. The elegant rooms come with parquet floors and air conditioning. This contemporary hotel effortlessly combines the old with the new. It is set in the heart of Rome’s historic centre, just a few steps from the famous Piazza di Spagna. The hotel’s design however, offers something different from the ordinary, traditional hotels which are common in the area. The trendy materials, chic fabrics and bright colours really make this hotel stand out. The Art by the Spanish Steps Hotel features an intimate bar, courtyard and tranquil lounge area where you can relax after a day of sightseeing. You have many of Rome’s most famous monuments within walking distance including the Trevi fountain and Piazza Navona. Each room features a private bathroom with bath or shower, wired internet access, and a satellite TV. Breakfast is American style." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

What a beautiful hotel this is! Our room, Superior Double was well appointed with very upscale amenities. I think, however, that it was the Staff who made our stay special. Francesca at the Front Desk was always smiling, and she never failed to give us a warm greeting. All in all I highly recommend this beautiful hotel for your stay in Rome!

We found Maison Roma to be the perfect hotel for our needs. It is located in Via Margutta, one of the most roman of the Roman streets. The location was ideal for us because we wanted to be at a reasonable walking distance to the major sites of historic Rome. The hotel is between Piazza di Spagna and Piazza del Popolo so we were able to easily stroll to the various landmarks (Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna, just to mention a few). The Vatican is little far, but we found it to be a pleasant walk. We were in Rome for the Jubilee, and the staff was extremely helpful. For those how need public transportation there is a Metro station, Spagna, nearby. The room was reasonably large and well appointed. The staff was always ready to help without being intrusive. The buffet breakfast was very good and the gentleman there made a good espresso. We shall return for sure

Absolutely one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip to Italy! The rooms were clean, and the location was amazing; we were able to reach all the attractions and shops by walking. They upgraded our room to a spacious one since we had a lot of luggage to feel comfortable. The only point that needs improvement is that we could hear the water circulation all the time, which wasn't very annoying, though. Finally, thanks to John for his support throughout our stay!

Let me start off with the things I really loved: 1) You simply cannot get a better location than this. It's close to everything including the Metro and you will be able to go out every night for a beautiful walk seeing all sorts of architecture and statues and piazza's well after the crowds have left without having to take a cab. It's incredibly safe and lovely. I love that there's a water fountain right outside the hotel to fill up with! 2) The staff! Giancarlo was so delightful every morning in greeting us and making sure that everything was fine and that we were happy. He always put a smile on my face everyday which is an amazing way to start the day! The busboy (I cannot remember his name but he was a young gentleman) was also so kind and gracious and kind. He just kind of puts you at ease. The night staff made you feel like you were coming back to your house. They were so welcoming, and patient with my bad Italian! :-) they taught me new words and make great conversation. As far as things that I would have changed: 1) I really would have loved a little more storage space for our clothes so we could fully unpack. I completely understand that as Americans we are used to a lot of space, but I think that having drawers under the beds would alleviate that problem. I absolutely adored staying here and highly recommend that this be on your list of places to consider

This is a very nice hotel in a good location near the Spanish steps. The room was very nice and would stay here again. All of the staff was extremely helpful, and want to thank Greta for all of her help with our questions and booking taxis and dinner reservations. The breakfast was tasty and had everything you needed.

The hotel was in a great location, near the Spanish Steps and so many restaurants and shops. It was one block off of the main street and was tucked away on a quiet little street. We loved the interior courtyard for reading , chatting and getting some fresh air. Francesca, Alessia, Annalisa and Christian, Grota, John, Sandra and Pasquale from the front desk staff were stellar, helping us with requests we had as well as assisting with dinner reservations in the area. A shout out for Giancarlo as well! Piano, Aurela and Christel from Housekeeping were also very helpful. The staff were all very professional and quick to assist in whatever way they could. We loved the daily breakfast also, very nice selection of items! We would highly recommend.

Location, location, location on top of location is the nice breakfast staff and rooms. Highly recommend staying here as it is a nice part of town with no graffiti seem like there’s any crime in the area at all. Very close to the Spanish steps and exclusive high-end shopping. As well as some of the best restaurants in Rome.
