"Maison Rouge has stood in the heart of Strasbourg for almost a century, a landmark celebrated for its Art Deco character and enduring legacy. Its 131 rooms and suites carry that heritage forward with contemporary detail, some offering views of the cathedral’s spire while others look across the historic streets below. The Salons Mistinguett evoke the glamour of the 1920s, contrasting with the spa’s atmosphere of a calm retreat. French classics are served in the restaurant, completing a hotel that feels both timeless and deeply connected to the Alsatian capital." - Tablet Hotels

We don't usually stay in Marriotts but this one was well-sited near to Old Strasbourg. Reception is well-staffed with a full-time concierge. The room we booked (Chambre Privilege) seemed small for 1133 euros for 3 nights, considering it was mid-Sept. It had a balcony but the view was of the street and some modern buildings. There must be other rooms, bigger and with better views than ours. The trams start quite early in the morning but the soundproofing is good.||My advice is to research the rooms better than we did. It seems from other comments than some of the rooms have a cathedral view, and therefore must be at the back of the hotel. We would consider staying here again but would do more price comparisons of what else is available in the area.

We spent 2.5 weeks in Europe and this was our favorite hotel. Extra roomy rooms, VERY comfortable beds, good pillows with options of different kinds, highly quality linens. VERY clean including the carpets. Quiet rooms. I would say they are soundproof because we didn’t hear anything at all despite being one of the first rooms off the elevator. Big tub to soak in and great water pressure. AMAZING food within walking distance and very central to everything we wanted to do. ||Highly recommend Grange Restaurant. Make a reservation. BEST FOOD ever and reasonably priced. We are big foodies and we know food. This was our favorite restaurant in Strasbourg.

We started two nights at the Maison Rouge. The hotel was recommended by my cousin who lives here. The hotel is definitely in a great location, not too far from the cathedral, Petite France, and the train station. There are plenty of cafes, bars, and bakeries close to the hotel|The hotel itself was very nice. It was so hot when we visited, and it was honestly one of the only places in town with a very good AC in both the lobby, bar and rooms. |Check-in was easy, and the staff was very friendly and informative at the desk. Our room was very nice, spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice with Clarins products. |The bar downstairs was a nice place to relax after a long and hot day in town. |The spa was nice and the staff was very friendly. |This was an enjoyable stay, and when we come back, we will definitely visit this hotel again

Stayed here with my husband for the first leg of a milestone birthday trip. It was fantastic! The staff was so amazing, accommodating, and friendly! The breakfast buffet was delightful and the servers were extremely attentive. We had wonderful massages and enjoyed the spa area. Make sure to book the spa in advance as they limit the number of people per hour - a good thing! It was in a great location. I look forward to returning in the future!

My stay at Maison Rouge Strasbourg was truly exceptional. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better, as it's right in the heart of the historic city center and next to a tram stop, making it incredibly easy to explore Strasbourg on foot or by public transit.||The room itself was spacious by European standards, beautifully decorated, and well-appointed with a comfortable bed, an excellent espresso machine, and a stunning, modern bathroom. Housekeeping did a phenomenal job keeping everything immaculate throughout my stay.||What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. I want to especially recognize three staff members who went above and beyond:||Léo at the bar was warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about wine. He asked thoughtful questions about my taste and recommended the perfect glass, plus, he created such a welcoming atmosphere that I returned more than once.||Pascal and Marta at the front desk offered exceptional service. Although my check-in experience wasn’t ideal, their professionalism, kindness, and genuine warmth completely turned things around and left me feeling truly valued as a guest.||Because of these three, Maison Rouge is now my go-to hotel in Strasbourg. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Highly recommend for anyone looking for charm, comfort, and truly remarkable hospitality.

You can only base a review on your own experience and the low rating reflects the room we were in. Of course others will have a different experience. Our ‘privilege room' was on the top floor- in the roof space really. There were rafters in the way - mind you don’t bump your head! It means that the room is in a strange shape with the TV facing in an inconvenient direction as there is only the bed to sit on. Also being up with the gutters and drainpipes and roofs made it noisy when it rained. We were tolerant for our two night stay but would have requested a change had we stayed longer. Some positives - good location for visiting Strasbourg; good breakfast; helpful concierge.

We’ve stayed at this Marriott many times and are very loyal Marriott members. This last time the team went even above and beyond more than usual - they upgraded us to the signature suite as it was our wedding anniversary of 10 years! Norman with guest relations is so kind, as is the entire staff. Best Marriott we’ve stayed in on our travels.

I am currently staying at this hotel with my husband and two kids. It is so beautiful and a very central location. The room is a very nice size for us and is clean and well decorated. The beds are very comfortable and they offer Clarins products which is a nice feature. We have also noticed that everyone we have encountered at the hotel has been incredibly friendly. Very happy with our choice to stay here.
