Credit to Norman and persons relation for a wonderful time, and his colleague whose name I cannot recall but prepared a wonderful gift for us and champagne and it was magnificent. The hotel staff here are flawless and always ready to help and give you advice and direction where needed. Contains by the barman was excellent, generous. Any time we needed something for the room the service was quick and prompted.||The only reason this did not get the 5/5 is because: (I) needs more seats in reception, (ii) menu in the restaurant was ok, and (iii) food was just ok. ||Other than that, was very good, nice hotel, centrally located, pricey but still very good.

The hotel is in a great location in the city center, on the tram line, and just outside of the old town. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was a good size and was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was the usual buffet plus any one entree from the menu, and was all very good. The downside of being on a main street in the city center is that it could be noisy throughout the night. Overall, an excellent hotel where we would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is fantastic and made everything easy. We arrived by train from Paris and reached the hotel in about eight minutes by tram. Once you are here, you can walk to almost everything, especially during the Christmas market season. Great cafés, restaurants, pastry shops and the main sights are all right downstairs, which makes it simple to explore and enjoy the city. The staff were friendly, welcoming and multilingual. There is also a nice restaurant on the lobby floor, which adds to the convenience. Our room had a comfortable amount of space and a cozy feel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, which was perfect after full days of walking around the city. The room was clean and had its own distinct decor, which gave it some character. This was also a great base for day trips. Getting to Colmar, Eguisheim and other nearby towns was straightforward and stress free. One small thing about the particular room we stayed in is the layout. The space between the bed and the wall with the TV was quite narrow, so moving through that spot felt a bit tight. We enjoyed our time here and would gladly return, or recommend it to people who want a super easy home base for exploring the city.

Hotel Maison Rouge is the jewel of Autograph Collection crown. My husband and I have a special connection to this property that preceded its Marriott branding and we are so very pleased it has retained its commitment to a personalized service that harkens back to the full service hotels of yesteryear. The front desk team, Pasquale, in particular, learned our names on Day 1 and went out of their way to make us feel welcome after an arduous and long journey to Strasbourg. Norman Theiss oversees Guest Relations and deserves special recognition for both his genuine kindness and his diligence in communicating with us multiple times each day to ensure that we were able to make the most of our stay.

Clean, relaxing, overall a very memorable stop on our trip to France. We were a bit stressed about going around town since it was so crowded, but the hotel staff came to pick us up when we could not find our way back. A very special thank you to Paloma for her warm welcome and recommendations!

A luxury hotel in the city centre . |It has a strategic location, as from this point visitors can walk to all the major attractions. |The rooms are well-maintained and beautifully decorated. A perfect spot to explore the fabulous Christmas markets of Strasbourg. A short walk from the station (with luggage service available if needed), the hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of town, with our joke being that everything was a 6 minute walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was exceptionally tasty

The location could not be better, right in the heart of the historic island. The service was fantastic in all aspects with particular thanks to the concierge and his team for arranging a wheelchair throughout our stay as well as on site parking. With mobility issues, it was very important that I did not have to travel with my heavier wheelchair. We stayed in a Junior Suite with my support dog and it was wonderful having the extra space so that I could get to sleep earlier and my husband could watch TV. The atmosphere, decor, and relaxed feeling helped to make our trip truly wonderful. Thank to all the staff, from housekeeping, restaurant and checkin.

Truly amazing service, location, and room (and breakfast!) From the moment we were greeted at check in we knew this was a very special hotel. We simply loved everything about it - the service, the decor, the location, the bed, the furnishings...and yes even the breakfast! Sometimes when a hotel has so many positives it is the little things that make everything special. We arrived late on a rainy night and after being greeted so warmly (and dropping off the bags in our room) they made room for us to dine at the heart of the restaurant's winter wonderland display. I rise long before my dear sweet wife and every morning the restaurant made me coffee in a 'togo' cup before welcoming us both for breakfast. The concierge was incredibly helpful when we needed lunch in the early afternoon and medicine on a Sunday. They offered us a 4PM checkout before our 5PM TGV to Munich. And I know it's a silly thing, but even the built in shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers were placed at the right height for the first time in our experience - you could reach up while taking a bath or down when taking a shower to get what you needed. I simply cannot thing of a single reason as to why you would not stay here if you are visiting Strasbourg. And a thousand reasons why you should.

My friend booked a really nice room here and suggested that if I wanted to, I could check out of the Hilton and move to here for our remaining night in Strasbourg. You bet! Even though I was on the fold-out, the bed was decently comfortable. The hotel did the servicing and set it up complete with sheets, blankets and pillows. Definitely awesome service there. Despite being over a main shopping roadway, it was really quiet in the late night. There was no noise from neighbors or the hallway. We had a corner suite on the third floor and it was quite awesome. Huge bathroom with a gigantic tub, a very nice shower cubicle (none of that half-wall stuff here) with a large vanity that had two sinks and even a separate "toilet room." We called down each night for ice and they cheerfully brought it to us. Breakfast buffet was absurdly awesome with some items made to order. Definitely get the French toast, but the sausages and bacon and breads and other continental options were excellent. Lots of pastries and the coffee was fabulous. Really worth it here. Amazing service. I love this gym! And the spa! The people in Strasbourg are some of the friendliest in the world

I have stayed in this hotel 3 times. I absolutely can recommend this hotel whole heartedly. The facilities are wonderful and spotlessly clean. Has a great location. The staff is universally outstanding. A special shout out to Antoine in their very excellent spa. He is a most talented and caring masseur. Always undoes the damage that traveling does to my back. He is absolutely incredible. He himself, is worth the stay!!

I didn't think I'd find one of my favorite hotels in the world in Strasbourg. I am a sucker for Art Deco, so when I arrived at this hotel, I was blown away. In the U.S., Art Deco buildings are usually crappy or the actually nice Art Deco interiors are not maintained or focused to one room. But this hotel's entire interior was well-maintained, well-designed Art Deco. I stayed at the Park Hyatt in Paris afterwards and I would prefer the breakfast here. I got a room with a queen bed, which I should start doing in the future because, in Europe, most hotel's "king" beds are actually two twins combined. The fitness center had amazing wooden equipment that I had never seen before, but I would prefer dumb bells. My only complaint was that the balcony was locked - you would need to contact the concierge to open it, but I didn't feel like doing that. Most of all, I was able to use my 35k free night certificates from Marriott, which are increasingly becoming difficult to use. However, given my experience, I would gladly pay the 200 euros per night here. I believe that during my stay in July, the price drove up to 300 euros per night.

Madison Rouge Hotel is part of Marriott Autograph Collection, which is a selection of unique upscale hotels. Unique decor throughout the hotel, which is well located in the center of Strasbourg. The room was charming and well appointed. We enjoyed wine on our balcony. The lobby and reception area were beautiful and the staff was tremendously attentive and helpful. The breakfast was among the best hotel breakfast buffets I've seen. I don't know if it is complimentary for all guests, but it was complimentary for Marriott bon voy platinum guests.

Excellent Hotel Great hotel situated very close to the Cathedral and Petite France. The hotel is an older hotel with a huge lobby and grand staircases. The breakfast is pricey but well worth it with a huge spread. The parking is not associated with the hotel however it is discounted if you ask the front desk. They will provide a special ticket to cut the rate in about half. The parking garage is in a central square and very tight to maneuver. If you plan to park, make sure you have a small car! Rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. Front desk staff were exceptional!

The Internet is vey poor. It is provided by orange and requires login. Thereafter the speeds are super slow or not at all. The hotel is pretty good or I would give 1 star. Internet access is important, especially when traveling. Location is perfect though so if you don't need Internet this is a good place.

Very accommodating desk attendant and very clean room. The breakfast was ok: nice teas but pastries and cold cuts could have been better. The price we paid was way lower than the price listed at the door; maybe the list is for high season so it's worth asking.

We got very lucky because of a free upgrade into a stunning suite. No idea how that happened, but we lucked out. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful, which we appreciate. The location can't be beat, other than the fact that we parked a few blocks away and it wasn't free.

Quite happy with our stay here. Cute, old world hotel with a great central location. The tram is right outside the door and the train station is a short walk with all sorts of shopping and restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning which is included in the cost. It is not luxury but it is quite nice, convenient, and a good value.
