La Maison Sainte Barbe is definitely a great B&B. The building itself makes you travel back in time, my room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was great, home made with quality products. The location is ideal, in the heart of the historic centre of Autun. Finally, Marie Luce and Jerôme are friendly, pleasant hosts. I totally recommend La Maison Sainte Barne and will come back myself.

This small hotel (Chambre d'hôte) was a wonderful experience in all senses of the word. Charming, great location, mindfully restored, great breakfast, very nice owner & hostess. Definitely a high point on our trip. Also the small town Autun is well worth a visit. But do stay in the old part of the city!! The hotel is like a stone throw away from the incredible cathedral.

This a a beautiful place to stay. Metres from the wonderful cathedral and surrounded by restaurants, Maison Ste Barbe is a wonderful historic building which has been sympathetically renovated. Beautiful features abound. The house also has a lovely garden, a treat in the old city. Our room also had a divine parquetry floor and beautiful bed curtains, and the dining room has a fifteenth century mud wall. It was most comfortable and the breakfast was good. The hosts are kind and helpful in the extreme. No down side here, a fabulous experience for couples.

We spent two nights in this charming historic Cistercian priory, which is tucked away on a quiet street only steps from the cathedral and good restaurants. The rooms are cheerful, clean, and tastefully appointed. The sunny garden with flowers and walls dripping with vines provides a peaceful retreat. Breakfast, served in a light-filled room, offers a variety of fruits, drinks, breads, and cheeses. The owners are friendly and helpful. We would definitely return to this special place.

My wife really likes this place. This was our second visit. The hosts are gracious, friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated. Breakfast was wonderful. The location is in the centre of tghe old city, across from the cathedral.

One of the most beautiful places I have stayed. Elegant rooms, with tall ceilings and large ensuite bathrooms, set within a history monastery and tucked away in a small cobbled street in the old town of Autun. It is a magical setting, hidden away behind large oak doors that open to reveal a secret garden. The owners are charming and went way beyond the call of duty when we arrived and had some problems, which were swiftly rectified with their help. Breakfast was both plentiful and delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived in the afternoon and got a parking lot directly in front of the door. The B&B is in the first floor and beautiful redecorated. We were welcommed by the owner in a very friendly manor. I believe she speaks as well English (I spoke French). Our room was large as well as the bathroom with seperate toilet. the room was in the back and very quiet. The furniture was beautiful and original. Everything very clean. - The breakfast was exceptional with a couple of jams, eggs, different types of bread and croissant etc.

Marie-Luce et Jérôme Lequime are wonderful hosts in this converted 15th-Century convent only steps away from Autun cathedral. Enormous room overlooking a old cloister, a comfortable bed, generous breakfast. They could not have been more charming and helpful. Parking can be a little tight in this medieval town, but we managed with their help. Highly recommended!
