Maison Savoia

Met on arrival and given a map of the city and recommendations of places to eat (pizza, pasta, meat & fish) we tried several of these & they were all great. Rooms were spacious and clean and were cleaned every day. It is in the city centre but the noise was minimal & we slept well. Rooms had air conditioning, fridge, tv & hot shower with plenty of water. Breakfast was in a cafe across the square 7-11 and it had great coffee and a selection of pastries. I would definitely stay again.

Rooms look nice but it has an awful smell of mould. The owner has a horrible way to manage doors. There is a door that if closed by mistake it cannot be opened from the outside, it happened to us by mistake and we had to wait outside in the middle of the night for more than 3 hours until he arrived to open it for us. There are lots of stairs and no lift so be prepared to it. The location looks good on paper however it is in a pedestrian only zone(ZTL) so unreachable with the car. Be prepared to park far and walk to the place with all your luggage, and the closest car park is not free. I won't return.

Fantastic place to stay in Cagliari and about a 10 minutes walk from Cagliari train station. Enrico gave plenty of information about different part's of the city, with a map pointing out different places to visit. Great location and for me I explored the hole city, new and old, the Marina, the nature park. Stones through away from bars, cafes and restaurants. My room was spotless every time I got back to my room, and alot of credit must go to the cleaner. ||||Big classic Italian room filled with character, with stylish bathroom, with a decent shower. Probably not the best place for the elderly, however, Sardinia have the one oldest families in the World, or thy oldest, and you see people in there 80's running around. So these stairs leading up into my room my not be that bad, for some exersice. Bravo to the Maison Savoia.

Firstly, Enrico is very welcoming and has a great knowledge of the area. He provided a map and ideas about what to see and do. My room was in a side street up a steep flight of stairs which would make it unsuitable for the elderly, infirm of people with young children.||The room I had is located in a lovely side street with ample access to cafes and places to eat and only a short walk to Via Roma and the train station. I did not make use of the breakfast option as there were so many nice places to eat. I have no hesitation in recommending this place as an option for when staying in Cagliari but as mentioned not suitable for the elderly or infirm.

Simple accommodation with authentic charm facing a small square. It's situated conveniently for exploring the harbour and town by foot. The train and bus stations are also near and it is easy to use a bus to get to and from the airport, as well as go along the coast to visit better beaches. The room at the back was quiet, functional and comfortable but there was an unpleasant smell from the bathroom/drains. The host was very friendly and helpful. A small and simple breakfast was available each day at the quaint cafe across the square by using the provided vouchers. If you needed more to eat, e.g fresh orange juice or an extra pastry, then this of course could be bought. Many other restaurants and cafes and shops are all around.

Stylish apartment, renovated perfectly and with taste. Located within the old town and close to Harbour and Castello it is the perfect place to start exploring Cagliari!|The host is really nice and will explain how to make the best out of your stay.

It was a nice short stay at Maison Savoia. Very clean, central and walking distance to places of interest, shops and restaurants. You get breakfast at an opposite bar, a coffee and a cornetto. The bar does not open before 7.30am so if you are leaving early you'll miss breakfast. But still can have a coffee another time. Would stay again if visiting Cagliari.

The "green door" next to the cafe/bar opens to reveal a tastefully restored inner building. We were looking for a comfortable B & B in the centre of town and this certainly ticks all those boxes. On arrival Enrico was very welcoming and helped us to get our bearings.
