Maison Savoia

Rooms were nice and clean. They were also cleaned daily, with fresh towels, removed trashed. The hotel is like sound-proof; you can't hear any outside noise, so you can sleep with ease. The apartments are close to everything you need, everything is in walking distance from apartments. Enrico was helpful with everything. Even provided the map of the city with suggestions what to do and see.

This accommodation looks nice on the website, but the reality is quite different – just like with many other places. I would consider the breakfast an outright disaster, served by very unfriendly staff across from the accommodation. A small coffee and a croissant for the price you pay is honestly a joke. Unfortunately, I was really not impressed. On the positive side, the location is great, but be aware that if you open the window, it gets very noisy. I truly regret staying at this place as the host was very unfriendly if you express your opinion. Not every guest has to like your accomodation!

Not a good accomodation and their breakfast is ridiculous. Overprised do not recommend. You can find far better places in Cagliari and the host is unfriendly.

Met on arrival and given a map of the city and recommendations of places to eat (pizza, pasta, meat & fish) we tried several of these & they were all great. Rooms were spacious and clean and were cleaned every day. It is in the city centre but the noise was minimal & we slept well. Rooms had air conditioning, fridge, tv & hot shower with plenty of water. Breakfast was in a cafe across the square 7-11 and it had great coffee and a selection of pastries. I would definitely stay again.

Really nice place, right at a small and cosy "piazza". We had a wonderful stay.

Fantastic place to stay in Cagliari and about a 10 minutes walk from Cagliari train station. Enrico gave plenty of information about different part's of the city, with a map pointing out different places to visit. Great location and for me I explored the hole city, new and old, the Marina, the nature park. Stones through away from bars, cafes and restaurants. My room was spotless every time I got back to my room, and alot of credit must go to the cleaner. ||||Big classic Italian room filled with character, with stylish bathroom, with a decent shower. Probably not the best place for the elderly, however, Sardinia have the one oldest families in the World, or thy oldest, and you see people in there 80's running around. So these stairs leading up into my room my not be that bad, for some exersice. Bravo to the Maison Savoia.

Rooms look nice but it has an awful smell of mould. The owner has a horrible way to manage doors. There is a door that if closed by mistake it cannot be opened from the outside, it happened to us by mistake and we had to wait outside in the middle of the night for more than 3 hours until he arrived to open it for us. There are lots of stairs and no lift so be prepared to it. The location looks good on paper however it is in a pedestrian only zone(ZTL) so unreachable with the car. Be prepared to park far and walk to the place with all your luggage, and the closest car park is not free. I won't return.

Firstly, Enrico is very welcoming and has a great knowledge of the area. He provided a map and ideas about what to see and do. My room was in a side street up a steep flight of stairs which would make it unsuitable for the elderly, infirm of people with young children.||The room I had is located in a lovely side street with ample access to cafes and places to eat and only a short walk to Via Roma and the train station. I did not make use of the breakfast option as there were so many nice places to eat. I have no hesitation in recommending this place as an option for when staying in Cagliari but as mentioned not suitable for the elderly or infirm.
