Maison Volver

Considering this is a 4 star hotel, here is my experience : Strong points : + Cheap in November (90€ or more) + The bed is comfortable. Weak points : - The service - depends on the receptionist and their mood. - The view - Beautiful view of a parking lot complete with drug dealers. - The noise - Not sure if it's the nighttime personnel or other customers but I woke up several times in the span of 8 hours due to loud noises and shouting at the phone. - Cleanliness - The walls are dirty. (see picture) - Convenience - The architect had no idea what he was doing (if one was hired at all) since the only outlets available are on the opposite side of the table, the "smart" TV doesn't work properly (glitches out all the time), is only compatible with Samsung devices (even with a driver or an Android app) and only has the free channels. There is no space for putting a chair at the table... - The bathroom - The towels, or rather, the rags are dirty. The shower system is stupid, as there is no way of showering without making a mess and the bin is microscopic and without a plastic bag. - The toilet - For some reason, when opening the door, there is a loud beeping noise coming from the CMV which would wake up anyone in the room if used during the night. It is also extremely small, without any space for your legs. Conclusion : I've been to 2 star hotels better than this 4 star hotel.

What a gem of a hotel. Large room with a balcony gave us lots of space to spread out. Bathroom renovated and big.|Good place for both breakfast and dinner. We also had afternoon drinks in the outside areas to watch world go by.|Large number of small restaurants in the area. Very close to all the great historical buildings and a number of churches.|When we first got of the train we said what have we done. But once through the ancient gates a wonderful town emerged.|Arles is a great place to visit for 2 days and this hotel is ideal. Staff fantastic.

Perfectly located little hotel in Arles with a nice restaurant. The staff was extremely helpful and the rooms very clean. The rooms are small but well designed with modern fixtures. The bedroom area could benefit from some more light and no boxes of tissues were provided, but these were small inconveniences. We had a very nice light dinner in the restaurant, and the staff provided some wine glasses and allowed us to sit out in the cafe area even when the restaurant was closed. Walking distance to the cruise boat dock even with luggage. I was not enamored of Arles overall, but the hotel we chose was perfect for us. Highly recommend Maison Volver if you are staying in Arles.

The rooms are elegantly decorated, comfortable and quiet but reasonably small and basic. The restaurant serves a great mix of foods but the prices are on the astronomical side of reasonable. I know this is a popular area but having lived in southern France for 20 years I’m shocked by the prices in Arles around all the tourist spots.

Beautifully renovated rooms with warm, soft lighting throughout. The bathroom layout was really useful in a way that I do not expect from most hotels. The staff was very helpful in helping us book spa days at nearby day spas and call restaurants for reservations because our French wasnt the strongest. They were wonderful Fair warning, the sheets are all linen which are very breathable and cooling but not as smooth as cotton. I like linen sheets but my partner did not.

This is a really lovely, old school place with just a few people at the front desk, who really treat you as an honored guest and care about your stay. It's a decent size room by French standards, it's very well located at the start of a pedestrian area, and there are plenty of places within walking distance. I would definitely come back.

I came with my group of my adult students for 3 nights and we had a warm welcome, helpful staff and wonderful freshly cooked breakfasts in a homely atmosphere. The rooms were adequate but rather small but all equipped well. Appreciated the bottles of water each day. Did not like the bedding at all, was very scratchy and have never had such material in any hotel I've stayed before like that.

Such a cozy, chic small hotel with amazing owner couple & staff. Very service minded and friendly. Atmosphere, interior is fantastic. Easy park just behind hotel, in-house resturant with ”tapas style” concept is great, high quality products cooked at the best. We will be back next time in the area. 🙌🏼
