A great little hotel with fantastic staff giving good service. It's a garden based haven in a busy city, somewhere to escape. It's definitely not a big western style hotel so don't book it if you want that. My room was comfortable and clean and the location is really good with many options nearby for food / coffee / bars. Good value for money as well.

Room:|Our stay in the hotel was very comfortable. The room was spacious, offering enough space to accommodate an additional bed for a child. The bed itself was large, ensuring a good night's sleep. The presence of two air conditioning units kept the room pleasantly cool. The bathroom was equally spacious, providing ample room to move around. One of the highlights was the private pool, which was quite large and a perfect way to cool down after exploring the temples. The hotel also provided filtered drinking water at the breakfast area, allowing us to refill our water bottles conveniently. Overall, the room felt homely and welcoming.||Breakfast:|The breakfast menu was simple but satisfying. While it wasn't an extensive spread, the quality of the food was good, making for a pleasant start to the day. They even provided breakfast in a take-away box when we had to leave early for our flight. ||Hospitality:|The hospitality at the hotel was exceptional. A special mention goes to Kimyon and team, who was remarkably quick in attending to all our requests. The taxi and tuk-tuk drivers arranged by the hotel were also commendable; they were not only good in English but also provided excellent service. Security was available during night hours, offering an added sense of safety and assisting guests in crossing the road.||Location:|The hotel's location was very convenient. It was just a 5-minute walk to Pub Street and the market area, where there were plenty of restaurants and shops. For immediate needs, there was a mini-mart just opposite the road. Additionally, several street food vendors, restaurants, and shops were in close proximity, making it easy to find something to eat or shop at any time.||Areas for improvement:|There were a few areas for improvement. The room and facilities appeared somewhat dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. The towels provided could have been newer. The water pressure in the bathroom could have been better. Additionally, while the breakfast was good, a more varied spread would have enhanced the overall experience.

Stayed for 4 days (March end) at the Suite with Private Pool of Maison 557. The pool was a respite after full day temple hopping around and across Siem Reap. Maison 557, a boutique property is like a gardened oasis in the Wat Bo locality. So the best part is its location and proximity to all the happening places around Siem Reap. It is just a 8-9 mins walk from Pub Street. The staff are courteous, amiable and professional. A shoutout to Gauthier, Joan and team for being perfect hosts and how can I forget Austin, the welcoming and friendly pug at the property whom you can hardly blame for occasionally taking a dip in your pool in the Siem Reap's sweltering heat. Maison 557 ticked all the boxes from cleanliness to comfort. The suite is spacious, perfectly air conditioned and the wifi is pretty good. Overall had a wonderful time and the suite with pool is highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay! The staff was amazing! The owners were SO nice! In fact, the owners wrote us the sweetest note before leaving, which left us with so much joy, and therefore, it made us wanting to come back.

Absolutely lovely, staff is very friendly and helpful, the owners check in with guests personally and have the cutest little dog Austin who also mingles with all guests. The rooms are very nice, the ambience overall is peaceful and perfect for escaping the real world. The one thing that was a bit disturbing and nothing to do with the resort is the direct neighbors have a dog that cries all night, seems like he's being left outside and needs attention. Could the resort do something to ensure the dog is treated better?

We loved our recent stay at Maison557. Our Garden View Room was gorgeous and generous in size. Our family were very comfortable and felt really relaxed during our holiday.|There was wifi, filtered water, air con and a yummy restaurant on the premises.|The staff were all amazing. So friendly and helpful. Everyone always greeted us with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. They organised all our tours and gave us lots of great ideas for places to visit and eat. |The pool was so fresh and divine. In the afternoons we had the pool to ourselves, like our own private oasis. Such a great way to end a hot day exploring.|Breakfast was delicious!! Fresh fruit, juice and a hot cooked meal every morning by the pool. And if we were lucky, we had a visit from Austin, the friendly pup.|I would definitely come back and stay at Maison557 if we are in Siem Reap again.

Was expecting something much better according to the price we paid. The room was nice and clean, huge bathroom but open to the room with open toilets also. No privacy at all. What made us regret our stay there was the frequent electricity shut down in our room during the day and a constant one from 1am till 7am so no AC and no fan for the most part of the night.. with almost 40 degrees outside during daytime. Clearly not worth the price.

Great location - Staff always happy to help- very kind people. Great bar and restaurant outdoors- the staff booked busses and tuk tuks recommended cooking classes- really went the extra mile. Lovely villa with pool highly recommended - rustic and natural - not too posh - great local feel close to river, museum, night markets, circus and not too far for taxi to sunrise @ Ankor Wat - would highly recommend a stay there!
