I recently stayed at Maison 557, and it was truly an outstanding experience from start to finish. Every detail of this boutique hotel is thoughtfully designed — each room is beautifully decorated with unique touches that make it feel warm and special. I stayed in a room with an outdoor shower, which was incredibly refreshing and added such a memorable touch to my stay. Breakfast was included, and it was absolutely delicious. The service from Gaultier, Joan, and Sovann went far beyond my expectations — they genuinely cared about making my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Their kindness and attention to detail made all the difference. The location of Maison 557 is perfect — just a 5-minute walk to the main center, surrounded by plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and pharmacies. It’s peaceful yet very convenient for exploring Siem Reap. I also used their recommended tuk tuk driver, Mr. Chea, for my temple visits. He was exceptionally professional, always punctual, and added thoughtful touches like offering cold water and fresh scented towels after each visit. His kindness and professionalism made exploring Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples even more enjoyable. I can’t recommend Maison 557 enough — from the impeccable service to the thoughtful design and perfect location, everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Amazing B&B, if you are looking for a B&B in the heart of Siem Reap this is the place, a colonial house hidden in the middle of the city, walking distance to pub street, night market, Siem Reap River,…. The owner was very kind and nice, he was making sure I was comfortable and enjoy my stay, also happily let me do the late check out. Room can get lots of mosquitoes if you don’t close the doors properly.

This Place was amazing. We booked a regular room for 2 nights, when we arrived Joan gave us such a warm welcome. We got a room upgrade without asking and had our own pool. Great location, awesome Owners and beautiful rooms. Overall amazing experience.

Surprisingly enough, the room is so clean and spacious. The staffs as very friendly and helpful. It's such a great offer. The only thing about the room is there there is no door breaking the toilet individually. 😂 I would recommend this accommodation. 👍

A fairytale welcome in a dream location! The staff were precise, punctual, and attentive, greeting us impeccably and preparing a truly royal welcome in our room. The room itself was large, spotless, and well organized, just like the beautifully maintained garden. The owner, Gauthier, was incredibly helpful, offering great advice and solving every little issue with kindness and efficiency. Breakfast also deserves special mention — every request we made was fully satisfied. We honestly didn’t expect such a wonderful surprise. Highly recommended!

Great location with easy walking distance to so many restaurants and bars. And the air conditioning and hot water were good. That’s the best I can say. This must have been a great bed and breakfast in its day, but now it is worn and not pleasant. Our first room, despite doors and windows being closed, had multiple mosquitoes and other bugs getting in. They allowed us to switch rooms and the new one had a detached toilet seat we asked them to fix for 3 days with no luck. We finally had them at least tape it down. The bed was uncomfortably hard, the window curtains had holes, the floor and rugs were dirty and the breakfast wasn’t great either.

I had a lovely 2 night stay at Maison 557. I was upgraded to a room with my own pool upon check-in which was a lovely surprise after a very long travel. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. I was immediately shown my room to settle down and enjoy a welcome drink before I could even give my name or passport. Once in my room they took care of the normal check-in process. I assume this is because they have 8 rooms and it allows them to give that personal touch. The owner, Gauthier, was there in the morning to welcome me and offer some great tips on where to go and what to do during my stay at Siem Reap. I’d definitely go back!

The standout hotel of my Asia holiday. I would absolutely stay here again. The whole experience was welcoming and considerate. The environment and decor are beautiful
