I had a lovely 2 night stay at Maison 557. I was upgraded to a room with my own pool upon check-in which was a lovely surprise after a very long travel. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. I was immediately shown my room to settle down and enjoy a welcome drink before I could even give my name or passport. Once in my room they took care of the normal check-in process. I assume this is because they have 8 rooms and it allows them to give that personal touch. The owner, Gauthier, was there in the morning to welcome me and offer some great tips on where to go and what to do during my stay at Siem Reap. I’d definitely go back!

This place is a gem. I loved the pool, the comfort of my suite and the fact, that is very very private. The service is discreet, yet they make you feel like all your needs are addressed. They also have a restaurant - we had our dinners a couple of time there: the food by is authentic khmer cuisine. You should go for their meal on a banana leaf- it'a true experience, visually and culinarly. We will return soonish.

Went to Maison 557 few years ago and everything was perfect! The location, the place itself, the rooms, the food, the swimming pool, the staff, the owners - everything was great. I left with very good memories:) Really looking forward to go back to Maison 557!

What an absolute gem of a place! For a starter they upgraded room for free on arrival, and to an unbelievable room, honestly one of the best I’ve ever stayed in! The garden and pool area is a little paradise spot, with lush greenery everywhere. The staff are lovely and friendly (although to be honest that’s not unusual in the most friendly country be ever been to!!) And to top it off the restaurant Pinakpou is, for the price you pay, genuinely one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at….and I’m from London!

Everything is perfect, from the owners, staff, food and accommodation. It is clean and comfy, and at the heart of siem reap (a small walk to the center of town). I highly recommend if you need a little haven for your holidays

I discovered this hotel from Miss Melia Instagram and I don’t regret it ! Very nice stay at Maison 557. Hotel is quiet and has a lovely design. The owner Mr. Gauthier is very kind and gave us a lot of tips. We enjoyed Siem Reap so much.

This was two years ago but still very memorable. We stayed in a luxury room with a private swimming pool. LouLou helped us arrange tours whilst we were there all of which were superb. When there was a problem with one of the tours she helped us to rectify it. LouLou even called us prior to our reservation to help us with things we were unsure about. The service was incredible. We had a traditional evening meal prepared for us and brought to the swimming pool in the evening. It was really tasty served on a banana leaf. The service of everyone was top level.

The staff at Maison557 were absolutely wonderful—kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their hospitality truly stood out and made my stay enjoyable. That said, I was disappointed with my room (Room 4). It didn’t match the pictures on the website, felt dated, and was extremely dark. It also had a damp, musty smell, which made it less comfortable. Also, when I booked, the price I agreed to pay was never stated as cash only. This wasn’t mentioned in the confirmation, they sent either, so I was surprised to be charged an extra 3% for using a credit card. It would be helpful if this had been clearly communicated upfront.I used my credit card for 4 weeks in Cambodia, no one else charged an extra fee. Overall, the warmth of the staff was the highlight of my stay. With a few updates and more transparency about payment policies, this could be a truly great place to stay.
