The two guys running the place tonight were 💯🆒delights! The chef upstairs, delivering his picture perfect & taste sensations from above, via his swinging basket technique is a legend too. Used to go to Maisys in my 20s... Always knew it for late nite hours - and while it's no longer 24hrs... It's still open til 3AM - which is almost unheard of in sleepy Sydney these days - where, despite Vivid - not just the bridge had turned back to its usual lighting pre midnight - Kings X, Oxford St & Darlinghurst we're all closed too, bar a few messy looking Macca's etc - so beyond Maisy being a late nite open oasis - it also has fantastic food (from fresh cocktails, to insta-worthy burgers and frothy soy/almond milk lattes) AND awesome service (fast, fresh plus funky music 🎵) with staff (thanks boyz) so lovely & chilled - I literally had to pinch myself we'd lucked out, we got to hang out & feel so welcome & relaxed there til 130AM or so. Bravo! It's my new official fav place anytime I'm out, even if it means driving to 'The Dark Side'... Before heading back home to Bondi. 💯🙏 THANK YOU! Stay amazing! x PS wanted to post pic of our yummo dinner, but can't seem to attach any here so you'll just hard to trust me when I tell you - it looked and tasted as 10/10 - as the place & experience was... aka perfection! x

What an absolute gem of a find! The service was great, a cosy and comfortable atmosphere and food slapped! The bruschetta was divine, the chicken parmi was good but if there’s one dish you MUST TRY it’s the mushroom risotto, it’s the kind of dish which tastes phenomenal from the first mouthful and only improves with each bite you take - it’s addictive, 10/10 would travel back for this meal accompanied by a chinotto, say less. Also, one of the only decent joints on Military Road open till 3am - such a win! I wish every inner city suburb had a Maisys. Get down, try the risotto & thank me later x

The atmosphere was quite nice, but unfortunately, the food didn’t match. The burger patty tasted overly fatty and artificial, and the bun felt cheap and flimsy. The chips were soggy and lacked any crunch (wasn’t worth adding double tomato sauce) I couldn’t even able to finish my meal and just left it. The thick shake was only edible but it still wasn’t worth the price Definitely won’t be back

We had such a lovely time. Just went in for coffee and cake. The gentleman there who served us was so lovely and so very kind 😇 The perfect afternoon for some time out. The coffee and cake were absolutely beautiful!!! This place opens at 3 pm. Anybody looking to stop by for a late coffee or tasty cafe food. Walk on in, you will be very happy.

Loved the food! Too good, subtle aromatic taste, not too over powering, just the way we like!. Paul was very friendly & took the time to suggest us what’s special in the menu and elaborated the dishes too! 10/10

Their New York baked cheesecake is absolutely fabulous. 😋 Their cheesecake is freshly baked in the shop. No doubt, one of the best in town. Their staff is so friendly. And they open till very late. Definitely my favorite in Sydney if you feel like food and some dessert in the middle of night. 👍🙂

Nice little Cafe; love that it is opened 24/7. Service was great, but food was disappointing. Caesar Salad was pleasant enough, but the other two dishes lacked flavour. Overall, dining experience was average.

Love the desserts, do try out their hotcake here. Hotcake is subtle sweet, it's served with cream and Maple syrup (goes perfect with coffee as well). It's one of their signature dessert. Lava cake is also another to try but not recommend for some who doesn't like the burst of sweetness. Best part is it's open till late so any late night craving can be satisfied 😌. Enjoy!!!

Yelp
Came here with my friends who told me that this cafe is 24 hours. The mud cake here is a must order!! I love the cold vanilla ice cream with the warm oozing chocolate. Heavenly match! The cheesecake here is pretty good too. Smooth and not too thick so you don't get sick of it after a few mouthful. I had the linguine pasta with chilli, shrimp and rocket. I personally found it a little too bland for my liking and wish there was more flavor. The dish just somehow lacks a kick. Overall a decent cafe for desserts and meetup :/

Yelp
Do you know any cafes open 24 hours that aren't at a truck stop on a dark and lonely stretch of highway in a country that isn't this one? I don't. Except for Maisy's. This place is a veritable institution, a beacon of light and coffee and chocolate cake on the traffic hell of Military Road, a 2am sanctuary where you can get hot chips or sandwiches or whatever takes your fancy at what is, let's be honest, an ungodly hour of the morning, when you don't want to look into the mirris that line the place because you might not recognise what stares back at you. The owners are super friendly and there's a Mad Max-like pulley system rigged up between the kitchen and the counter that trips me out every time I see it.

Yelp
Maisy's was a stop on my ongoing quest to find the best coffee in Neutral Bay and it missed the mark for a couple of reasons. For a start it really bugs me when cafe's charge extra for soy milk in a piccolo. I'm no tight-arse but charging 50c extra for a tablespoon of milk is just rude in my opinion. I never complain but I do take my business to businesses that are less greedy! So the $4.10 (!!) coffee was strike one against Maisy's. The coffee was actually alright- or would have been if my piccolo wasn't more like a 1/2 latte. I guess they wanted to give me my 50c worth of soy milk! That would be sweet if the point of a piccolo wasn't the small amount of milk involved. Lovely staff but Meh.

Yelp
Sydney has a cafe, and it's a 24 hour cafe. First off, hell yeah! You gotta love this place, it can be what ever you want it to be. Whether you're there for the coffee - which is great, or if you're a hot dog guy/gal, the food is great, but my favourite is there selection of cakes! It's just a perfect, modern cafe with all the mod-coms, huge air con in Summer, and WiFi available, a sly little upstairs area which is largely unknown and great to escape the crowds downstairs for a snack. I wish there were more 24 hour cafe's in Sydney. Sometimes it's 2am and I feel like a coffee, or midnight and I feel like a delicious heart clogging double chocolate cake with cream and fudge. Nothing beats their lLemon meringue pie though.

Yelp
Despite the fact it's located on the busy Military Road Maisys is hard to spot unless you are looking for it. The reason you'd bother looking for this wee cafe is if you're in need of a caffeine fix at an odd hour of the day or night - mum's with babies up all night, 5am start personal trainers and party animals off to work this is your place to get your caffeine fix. A rare find is a Cafe that's open 24/7 and happens to make delicious coffee. My sister told me about Maisys good coffee and I have to agree with her. The coffee beans are Vittoria but it's the barista that contributes half the taste and this one makes one smooth Soya Mocha. If you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy a coffee midweek this is a good place - that is if you can tolerate the Channel V music channel playing on the TV behind the bar. The breakfast and lunch menu is your run of the mill Cafe complete with smoothies and teas. A standard latte will cost you $3.80. Not so run of the mill is the décor - the entire Cafe is silver and mirrored. Maisy's are licensed with a modest selection of red, white, sparkling wines and beers. $2.50 corkage. WiFi available. Air conditioned.

Yelp
This was a revelation to me too. Sydney has an around-the-clock café/restaurant in the North. What do they say, you learn a new thing every day. North-ites, we're not New York City yet, but I bet within a few years we could rise to the occasion. If we really wanted to emulate, we'll have to get to work looking for some live rats and let them loose to decorate the place. But I digress. Maisy's main draw is the 24-hour thing. The food is the usual café food, albeit with more variety and options, and the fit-out is a little on the standard side as well. I looked up from my coffee a few times to check out the new music video clips being shown on the big TV above and the staff also provide a bit of entertainment but if you're choosing between an Opera House show or Maisy's Café the choice is an easy one (so easy that I'm not even going to spell it out for you). There is nothing that is overly special here but there is nothing that is in bad taste either.

Yelp
So it was 1am and we needed food, so it was either here or Pancakes on the Rocks. For 1am the food here is quite good. But if you are looking for a cafe in normal hours I would not come here. The service is here is bizarre, the waiter was trying to be funny but just came across as offensive. But we put up with this because we wanted our burgers and milkshakes. The food was good, compared to a midnight kebab, but as stated earlier would not come in normal hours. I have to admit the best thing is the dessert. The dessert here is large and delicious. But just a warning it is not easy finding room as this one of the few places opened 24 hours.

Yelp
There are two reasons why this place gets 3 star from me. 1. It is open 24 hours, this is an amazing feat for Sydney 2. Try the sticky date pudding. But do not get the ice cream as the ice cream is poor quality and ruins the amazing pud. These reasons above would generally warrant 4 or 5 stars. Other that there is burgers, and plenty of meals that they serve 24 hours. This is a great spot for late night snacks after a long night out. They also serve Vittoria coffee, which in my opinion is a decent bean at best. This is a slight mark down. Plus the coffee is a tad expensive (the other reason why I am dropping from 4 stars to 3). But then again, they are open 24 hours so if you need a 3am latte your options are quite limited. Oh and if you want a slightly quieter spot, try the upstairs seating. I expect it is usually open because the drunkards do not want to climb stairs late at night.

Yelp
I came here once many years ago and it had a reputation for being fairly average food and a little bit pricey. But I ate here late one night after a few drinks and ordered a lamb burger which was $19 and whilst still a little pricey the food was absolutely fantastic. Despite being late night the staff are very friendly seemed happy and upbeat. Considering it is open 24 hours I think this is an awesome place to get a late night snack or an early morning breakfast.

Yelp
Military Road cafe that does decent sandwiches, burgers, and cakes. Big attraction is that it's open 24 hours a day. Small, and can be very loud when there are more than a few tables of people. It's not open to the street - Military Road is pretty busy, you probably wouldn't want that - but there are a couple of sidewalk tables. Free wifi.

Yelp
Solid little cafe on military road - 24 hours make it a good bet to meet friends if you can't be bothered to work out what else might be open! The service is friendly, the coffee was not bad (even if Vittoria) and it is as central as you are going to get for the area! Coffee: Espresso Bean: Vittoria Crema: Very reasonable 7/10 Overall Taste: Not bad 6.5/10 Served in: Small cup (+1) Preparation: Solid, good enough :) Big plus to the fact they have wifi - I have not used it yet, but am super-excited to find anywhere that does have wifi. I love finding places where I can take my laptop and get some work done out of the house, which in my field basically requires a good net connection. This alone may bring me back, given the lack of places in Sydney

Yelp
JUST CRAP! ordered two things off the menu, one of which was no longer available so having made my second choice and watching my drink go cold waiting for my order, was finally informed they had run out of my second choice half an hr later. Nice staff, in property trained! seems to be a lack of any management what so ever. Point infact, I witnessed the party next to me endure such incompetence as to allow the waiter offer pepper for his meal almost half way through. Im not so sure I would have been soo patient. . however I am sure I will not return! To the staff, keep smiling, get some training and GET OUT!

Yelp
Not quite what I expected, Had issues the whole time in regards to not having powerpoints to charge my phone/ laptop (whilst being an internet cafe). We were unable to split the bill as all payments had to be made from the one account. Furthermore, they did not accept EFTPOS, and my friend had to embark on a brisk jog to the nearest atm with a stomach full of food (giving them a really pleasant cramp) just to be able to pay for the meal. Despite these inconveniences, the food was reasonably priced, and the waitress was quite lovely and understanding of the difficulties we faced. I think that everything which happens on the floor is great here but there are some definite changes which need to be resolved by the owners, to make the MAISYS 24/7 experience one that is not plagued by difficulties but rather filled with satisfaction.

Yelp
I Love Maisy's cafe. Was better when Paul was there. He was the best manager. He always made a point of remembering clients and our orders. Paul was a 10/10. The new staff don't care much, they treat you like you don't Matter - we waited to order 45mins with them and they got the order wrong. They were rude and dismissive-no smiles or kindness, just a snobbish arrogant attitude. They are a 0/10. However the food is amazing!!! The upstairs seating is amazing, as is outside and downstairs seating. I go for the experience. It's open 24/7 so it's good for early mornings. 10/10 for the food. I enjoy the pasta dishes, wedges, milkshakes, coffee and the hot chocolate mud cake I had! 10/10! The chefs and kitchen staff are A+++++!! 10/10 for the chefs. Highly recommend!!! Just don't count on the service of the new floor staff!!! But go for the experience in the early morning and for the food and beverages!!! So good!!!!!

Yelp
Low quality service, average food. Price way to high for McDonald level. Not much more to say.

Yelp
We had a late flight into Sydney and since we were staying near North Sydney, once we had settled in, we realised our food options had dwindled. At midnight we couldn't even find a pizza place that was still delivering. Luckily, I discovered Maisy's in my Yelp search. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it was a pleasant surprise. It has a very unique charm. The menu is interesting, all the diner standbys are there. The system of getting the food from the kitchen to the bar/dining area is pretty hilarious. There must be quite a few people with bruises on their heads at this place. The steak was pretty good, the reuben was just okay. For that time of night, we were still impressed. Great people watching, too.

Yelp
I simply love Maisy's Cafe for being a 24 hour destination. Sure it may attract a few drunkards in the early hours of the money, but its a great place to eat for a late night snack or an evening catch up. The place has lots of character and the staff are super friendly. A lot of young people from the North Shore populate the cafe. It seemed to be quite the hangout. The restaurant-cafe has free wifi which is a major plus, particularly if you're waiting around for a friend to arrive. The food is OK and the drinks a little better. Maisy's is best known for its coffee and milkshakes.

Yelp
I LOVE Maisy's. The 24 hour factor is the major drawcard for many, although I have to admit I've never actually been later than around 10pm. For those who poo-poo such places because they attract drunks at 2am, the 24 hour (on weekends) Cremourne McDonald's, located about 200 metres away, is probably more of a drawcard than the cute, character-filled Maisy's. Maisy's Cafe is a good choice no matter what time of day or night you choose to visit - it has yummy food (I recommend the wedges), pretty ok coffee and good vibes; it's a nice place to catch up with friends, see an old aquaintence, or sit by yourself and read a magazine. It's a tad expensive, but the central location is probably the cause of that. Speaking of central location, a word to the wise - don't try and park on Military Road, you'll get stuck going down the Warringah freeway if you can't hang a park in time; a better bet is to park in the council carpark behind. Hang a sweet park (or arrive on an extremely frequent bus), grab some wedges and hang upstairs with the cool kids.

Yelp
The worst service on graveyard shift. The middle-aged woman who works early mornings couldn't be more ignorant. I've been there 5 times this year between 2am and 5am and on all occasions she has failed to even bring me a menu. This last occasion, she sat there eating food and reading the paper while I sat at a table and waited. I walked out after 20 minutes.
