The main room is downstairs in a very beautifully decorated underground. The food was good. Even if I found it to be excessively salty. The soup I absolutely recommend. I wanted a vegetarian but traditional dinner, looks like I ended up having Thai food.

My food was mind blowing good. It was so tasty. Honestly one of the best dishes I ever ate. Highly recommended. I will definitely come back. I had the pumpkin curry and a very delicious coco water. Super yummy! Thank you!

Because of the great reviews we wanted to try this restaurant and it didn‘t disappoint! The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean (the smell in there was so good!) and the food was amazing! We ordered the Black Beer Goulash and the Asian Wok - both dishes were fantastic. If I am ever back in Prague, I‘m coming back for that goulash ;)

Google
One of our favorite vegetarian places to eat!! The staff is friendly and warm. With a table reservation, you are guaranteed a table in the first floor, if not you will be seated in the 2nd floor. The hummus appetizer with pita bread/chips was our favorite. We went there all the 3 days we were in Prague. They are walkable distance from the Old Town Square. They have loyalty card if one spends more than 1500 local currency and we used it. Would definitely stop here when we are in Praha next time!!

It’s a very beautiful and upscale restaurant, we went to experience the authentic Czech dish and it was really good, other foods also were nice and specifically mocktail drinks were . The theme of the restaurant seemed based on budhha and Bhutani also a touch of Hindu religion

Google
Beautiful restaurant, we ate downstairs which had plenty of tables, space and plants. Excellent service by all, the food is delicious and affordable, considering how close they are to the main square, really good value for money. Highly recommend the vegan black goulash and vegan burger. The coconut tapioca and date dumplings for dessert were other worldly (the tapioca acted as a great palet cleanser after a bite of the sweet dumplings). We hopefully will return on this visit, if not the next time we are in Prague.

Amazing! Definitely amazing! Service, atmosphere, staff, food, taste, music, design everything was perfect. I would love to go again. I tried a starter with chips and 3 different dip sauce. It was sooo delicious. Also tried Burger. That was very well made. Prices are good. Not too expensive. Looking forward to go there again. Staff is very friendly. This makes the place even cozier ☺️

Google
Delicious vegetarian food. Lots to chose from. We had the mixed starters and the Udong noodles. Both were excellent. The deco is quite eclectic - part Art Nouveau, part Buddhist. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly, efficient service. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this place as I was looking for vegetarian/ vegan options and I'm so glad I found this place. The ambiance has a very bohemian and soothing touch, you can see fountains and buddha statues all along. Maitrea is a complete vegetarian restaurant, serving local Czech delicacies. I tried the vegan Ghaloush and it was so so good. Typical Czech dishes are meat heavy so I am glad I got an opportunity to try something local and appreciate it. The dish had stewed veggies, a lot of spices and flavour and was served with horseradish dumplings and bread. Most of the tables around me had ordered Aperol Spritz, and I ordered the same, it was so good! Are you even on vacation if you don't drink Aperol/ Mai Tai?! Maitrea serves local delicacies as well as other vegetarian cuisines to fit everyone's palate. My vegetarian/ vegan friends, definitely give this place a try!

Yelp
As I am not a vegetarian or vegan, I would say that this restaurant is rather decent borderline food. I came to this restaurant with a colleague that is vegetarian and ordered the Tex Mex quesadilla. The quesadilla itself was good as well as the guacamole. The rice, however, was very bland and dry. My colleague ordered the salad and the Sweet Potato Curry. While I did not try it, she stated she enjoyed it. The ambience is quiet and nice. As far as service goes, the man who assisted us was quite nice and helpful.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants in Prague. Great vegetarian food, including versions of traditional Czech dishes. I went three times during our week-long visit and enjoyed the stir fry, especially. Excellent service.

Yelp
This restaurant has a few vegan options. Well, this was my first time having goulash and it was sooo delicious! The flavors, the paprika, the texture of the vegan meat, all on point! I considered going back to have it again, but I opted not too because I had a few vegan spots to visit on my stay. I didn't enjoy the taste of the raw chocolate avocado mousse; didn't finish it. If I am ever to visit Prague again; this will be my first stop for a meal.

Yelp
The food and service were just ok. It feels as if I overpaid for my meal and I wouldn't go back.

Yelp
Very bohemian and different from your typical restaurant in Prague. The main purpose of the place is to provide vegetarian or vegan options in a city that usually has a meat and potato type feel to it, think (goulash) etc. I'm not necessarily a vegan although trying to make an attempt to eat more plant based based on the group I'm with. Per Helena, who was our server, the menu does get changed every couple of months. Some of the previous Yelp comments of delicious Risotto, are no longer offered. The items ordered were the goat dumplings, a variant of papaya salad, and two different quesadilla. They did have a vegan goulash and a vegan paella option, but I'm so used to those items being traditionally with either beef or a seafood medley that we didn't bother with trying! (Lame) I know! The papaya salad and pea soup were delish and hit the spot. Not sure what was going on with the "goat dumpling" but it didn't resemble a traditional goat cheese dumpling at all. I usually like dumplings, and I usually like goat dumplings but this wasn't a hit. The quesadilla were a hit since they are such a comfort food. It was a 50 50 split with the group, some loved the spinach varieties and some loved the non spinach one. Overall lot of different main stream foods are offered as a vegan or vegetarian option. The decor of the place is very bohemian, Buddha statues, it gives a tropical, Bali type vibe. You do need a reservation ahead of time, so make sure you call at least several hours ahead of time. They seem to be strict about the 15 minute tardiness policy, so don't be surprised if they might give your table away. For drinks, the mint lemonade would hit the spot!

Yelp
My favorite place in Prague, this place is a MUST! Beautiful design, atmosphere and the friendliest staff. The Jasmine tea was the best I've ever had, and the truffle risotto was out of this world. Everything is vegetarian and vegan, and the prices are beyond reasonable. *make a reservation* 100% recommend!

Yelp
Located on a quiet street within the Old Town, this is a fancier sit-down vegetarian restaurant with plenty of vegan (and veganizable) options that are clearly marked on the menu (available in English). I ordered their vegan pea cream soup (95 Ck) to start and their bulgur risotti (255 Ck) which can be made vegan. Both were impeccably done. The pea soup was richly flavoured, with a drizzle of olive oil on top and a nicely seasoned pea character. This was the best of the pea soups I tried on this trip. 5/5 The risotto was simply sublime. The "nomeat" texture was really interesting and fit perfectly in this dish -- almost like a mix of artichoke and firm thinly sliced tofu. Wonderfully seasoned and a pretty damn large portion. Wonderful dish. 5/5 Service was friendly and fast. Quite simply, this was one of the best meals I had on this week-long trip to Czech. Highly recommended.

Yelp
This restaurant has some of the tastiest food I've ever had. Prague isn't the most vegetarian friendly place but this restaurant is absolutely amazing and I miss it so much. The BBQ jackfruit nachos were the best nachos I've ever had. I stayed for 10 days and ate/ordered from here 4 times. The restaurant has a very cool and friendly vibe and the waitstaff were nice. Definitely try and get a reservation, especially on the weekend.

Yelp
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Maitrea. Despite having no reservation and with a full restaurant (staff cautioned us the food would take a while to come) We were immediately offered a table and appetizers and drinks came quickly. My husband who is not vegetarian enjoyed the Kra Pao of minced no-meat with chilli, egg, garlic, bamboo shoots with jasmine rice; I had the "healthy poke bowl with sweet potatoes, avocado, chickpeas, edamame, cabbage and pickled onions. Everything delicious and the service was perfect. The design of the restaurant with natural elements such as a beautifully curved wood bench and light fixtures that look like squash blossoms, added a natural and artistic feel to the ambience. Recommend!

Yelp
Lucky enough to have an open table, karma smiled on us with Restaurace Mailrea. Nice Asian theme with Buddha's all around, we were seated downstairs and the ceiling was light up like a daytime sky which was very happy and open Everything is vegan here but we were looking for a traditional dish so we chose the Veggie goulash with dumplings......the dumplings here are not the expected German / Bavarian style we were used to. These were what the Mr described as "napkin style" where a huge roll is made then sliced. To me they tasted like sliced bread but they were still tasty Dark super flavorful gravy and hunks of tempeh, this was savory, warming and hit the spot after walking around the cold Christmas markets all day

Yelp
If you ever find yourself in Prague and are either a vegetarian or vegan, Maitrea may be a choice resauraunt for you. I definitely am an omnivore but enjoyed this lighter fare. Seated downstairs, we relaxed and ordered two entrees and a salad. The Spinach Quesadilla tasted amazing and was warm and had a plate of sides (guacamole, salsa, sour cream) to compliment the item. Oddly the quesadilla was rolled like a wrap and wasn't in a typical flat quesadilla form but that didn't stop us from enjoying the hot food. I ravished eating some greens in the Goat Cheese Salad but thought the item didn't have a complementary flavor profile. While I enjoy olives, green grapes, walnuts and goat cheese I didn't think all of these ingredients were cohesive. In my opinion this restaurant is preferable to Clear Head, another vegetarian restaurant by the same owner, as the menu selection and ambience is superior.

Yelp
Steps from the main square, this is a fabulous vegetarian friendly restaurant with an attractive decor and full liquor. We had the udon noodles and healthy poke bowl, both we fabulous, generous portions, friendly, efficient staff, reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Excellent food and service! Luckily, we went early and we were able to be seated. Recommend getting reservations. It was a little frustrating finding the location so make sure you have directions. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I came looking to get a light lunch after another vegan place I wanted to go to was closed (it was a Saturday and the other placed was closed Saturdays). There are a few tables upon entering, but more tables downstairs. There are a good number of vegan dishes among the otherwise entirely vegetarian menu. In addition to the allergen coding that seems to be standard here, there are also symbols indicating items that are raw, that contain honey, items that are vegan, items that CAN be made vegan, items that are gluten-free, items that CAN be made gluten-free, items that contain garlic, and items that contain onion. SUPER handy for those with allergies or restrictions. So since I was getting a light lunch, I got the tempeh fresh spring rolls and the vegan creamy split pea soup. Both were incredibly tasty, flavorful, and were exactly what I needed. Neither was at all heavy, and I have to say the soup was perhaps the best split pea soup I have ever had. I wished my soup bowl was bigger! The only mildly negative comment I had was that our server was hard to track down. After he had come to ask if we wanted anything else for our meal and we said no - twice - he still never brought us our check. Then after we flagged him down and asked for the check, he still never brought us our check like he said he would. Finally, my friend had to get up and go look for him. But, despite that, I would still love to come back here and try other items that are on the menu. They sound amazing!

Yelp
Delicious vegetarian restaurant in the heart of old town. Great ambiance and cool playlist. The service was friendly and informative. We started with the strawberry juice (yum!) and activated water. Our appetizer was the pate' and it was very good. It's served with some seeded bread. Our main was the Maitrea burger and the 'chicken' quesadilla. Both were filled with flavour and very filling. Check for hours and possibly needing reservations. You won't regret it.
google avatar

Chaithra M.

Yelp
Lovely place, great food. A variety of vegetarian selections that can be customised wherever possible. However, the menu could have been a bit more clear for where ever the word "chicken" was mentioned. We visited the place on a Sunday afternoon and the ladies who attended us were very rude!
google avatar

Sejal D.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious and worth every penny spent. My husband and I came to Maitrea for date night in Prague and were overwhelmed with the number of options. Similar to Lehka Hlava, we noted Asian options, burgers, but also a quesadilla. I opted for a fried rice type dish and loved their use of seitan as a meat substitute. I do agree that the service was a bit slow but I also think the restaurant is trying to create an experience for their patrons. I'd recommend any one (vegetarian or not) give Maitrea a try when in Prague.
google avatar

Yelp
Great veggie spot! While visiting Prague, we were pretty bummed to see that many of the dinner spots recommended to us by our Airbnb hosts were all full without a wait list. We found Maitrea per a recommendation from another website and were impressed with the reviews. Maitrea has two levels that I'm aware of -- ground level and a level below. Since we didn't have a reservation, they had us sit at a table downstairs h which was actually cuter than the upstairs environment, in my opinion. The ambiance was great and had an intimate feel. We actually didn't realize this place was vegetarian before going in, but we love vegetarian food so this was a cherry on top. The menu has a bit of everything -- Asian, American, traditional Czech food, and even TexMex. Vegan options were abundant and they had a good wine menu and a wide assortment of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. We ordered the spicy goulash with whole wheat dumplings, the paella, an aloe water, a glass of rose, and the pistachio mousse for dessert. The goulash and just as delicious as any other we'd tried the entire trip, and the paella was moist and flavorful. The pistachio mousse was delicious as well, I'd highly recommend it as an end of dinner treat!! Service was very friendly and quick, they took credit card for the bill and tip. Maitrea was one of the food highlights of our stay in Prague and I'd recommend it to everyone, vegetarian or not.

Yelp
A vegetarian/vegan dream. We came here for 2 meals in a row: dinner and then lunch the next day. Beautiful, peaceful atmosphere and great staff. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the dishes. This is a can't miss in Prague.

Yelp
Personally, I love this place. When I first came here a couple of years back, it was a great surprise to me and I felt astonished by the ambiance, the super friendly staff, interesting and unordinary yet very tasty food and very good prices. If you come here, definitely go try to find a spot downstairs as the atmosphere is much cozier in the cellar. They only serve vegetarian meals in here and everything is very healthy but you can still also get a nice wine in here, which is great for ultimate wine lovers like me. They prepare regular meals that are familiar to you from normal restaurant but in a very sophisticated vegetarian way so that very often it is hard do recognize that what you are actually eating is vegetarian meal. I love their Mexican meals like burritos or quesadillas and even though I am not a big fan of normal beef goulash, their vegan version is pretty amazing. Also, if you are into yoga or any kind of spiritual activities, you can ask the staff or check the boards by the entrance in order to get information about various events in Prague :)...

Yelp
This restaurant has delicious food in a great location with a *decent* amount of vegan options. I love that they have vegan traditional Czech food, and it did not disappoint! I had the goulash, made vegan with potatoes. Extremely beautiful interior. The atmosphere alone would keep me coming back. I do wish they had more vegan options for desert though. I had the raw apple strudel and it was just meh... probs wouldn't get it again, but nice to try if your in the mood for desert. I think the only vegan deserts on the menu were raw, and I'm not always the hugest fan of raw deserts because often they aren't executed very well. So as a vegan, pros: great location , yummy vegan options , lovely interior Cons: wish there was more/ better vegan options for desert :) Overall good experience. Would come back if I was in town again to try more dishes! **definitely make a reservation

Yelp
I visited Prague in 2010, and did some research to find vegetarian food before I got there. There wasn't much to choose from, so Maitrea definitely has an edge. My memory of the atmosphere is that it's very calming and zen with a soft candlelight glow. I immediately loved sitting in this restaurant. I don't recall the service, which probably means it was just fine. I visited Maitrea a couple of times, and I don't remember what all I ordered. I have a pic of an eggplant curry dish. And OMG the olives. I DO remember the olives.... Oh yes. They were soaked in soy sauce and honey. I could have ate a bucket of them! If I ever make it back to Prague, I will definitely visit Maitrea again and I highly recommend it if you are veg, or just need a break from all the sausage and cheese.
google avatar

Yelp
The vegetarian amazing sister restaurant to Lehha Hlava - itself a five star must visit vegetarian restaurant. Maitrea is even better than Lehna Hlava - if such a thing is possible. If I had one and only one meal to have in Prague - I might skip the sausage and duck places altogether and just eat here. This particular meal I had no fewer than SIX - count them SIX - legendary dishes. And here comes the wild part. Three of them were Tex-Mex! I come from Austin, Texas - and these dishes trumped anything I get at home. ***** The six super-dishes were: 1 2 and 3: Tortilla chips with guacamole and dip. Chips and dips are the Austin national dish. I have eaten more chips and dip than any other dish on the planet - and that includes breakfast cereal and hamburgers. These were the best tortilla chips and the best dips I have ever had. The tortilla chips were light in feel and in taste - but structurally strong. (Those two things don't go together in U.S. chips.) They had a fantastic light almost cinnamon-y taste. Guacamole is generally one of the dullest dishes on the planet - and that includes guacamole I have had in New Mexico in a famous guacamole restaurant. The guacamole at Maitrea puts my home town guacamole to shame. Light -but spicy. Plenty of excellent tomatoes. (This may have been one of the secrets. Both U.S. and Mexican tomatoes are terrible.) No chiles, no cilantro, minimal lime juice. Here the vegetables were carrying the taste rather than the flavorings - and the vegetables were simply superior. The dip was a wild choice. Yogurt with orange rind!!!!!!! No one in Texas would ever think of serving that as a dip with chips. It was addictive! It was outstanding! It was intoxicating! And I could probably make that myself at home in three seconds. This is something I intend to do for the rest of my life. ***** What were the other three super-dishes? 4. Raw tacos with a sun-dried tomato filling. A total mouth explosion. 5. Udon noodles with the lightest but most peanut-ty peanut sauce I have ever had in a bowl of fresh vegetables. This was my wife's dish rather than mine. I couldn't keep my fork out of her plate. (Fortunately she was saving room for dessert . Otherwise she would have had legitimate grounds for divorce.) 6. This last dish was a hard to find commercial bottle that they poured from the bar. It was something I had never heard of. It was a grand slam home run. Xante. Xante is a Finnish pear liqueur. Imagine a great big pear that has been aging on your counter-top to being totally brown and soft but still edible. It is pure pear sugar. Now put that taste into a liqueur. No cloying-ness. No sweetness. Just pure overpowering pear taste. An absolute peak experience in a glass. *** We ate other stuff like a raw chocolate chocolate cake. The other stuff was fine - but nothing could come close to those six "the-earth-moved" experiences. Anytime I go to a restaurant and get six "best-I-have-ever-had-in-my-life" plates - I become a complete devotee for life. Maitrea owns me. Go eat there. It will own you too.

Yelp
Traveling in Prague, it's assumed that the food is meat heavy and unfriendly to vegetarians. Not the case - there is a good selection of restaurants that cater to the murder food adverse. See what I did there? Maitrea is the best of the bunch, located just off the main square in old town. Super friendly waitstaff and a menu with a wide variety of delicious options. Being in Czechia I of course wanted to try traditional food, and they have vegetarian versions of the local Goulash. Tip: Ask to be seated downstairs - definitely the cooler part of the dining room.

Sumeet R.

Yelp
Loved Maitrea! We had a low table downstairs. The place gets crowded - so reservations are recommended. Loved the wine pairing with my paella!
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite vegatarian restaurant in Prague. Great decor, service, and fantastic food. Make sure to reserve a table on forehand. This place is very popular!
google avatar

Yelp
Traditional Czech cuisine and vegan sometimes is a difficult pairing, at least if you want to go out eating in Prague. This is why I am very thankful for Maitrea, that offers a vegan version of iconic Czech dishes. A friend took us here when we visited Prague and none of us would have guessed from the outside that this restaurant is this large. I had the Gulash with dumplings which was well seasoned and nice while my friends went for the Asian dishes. Everything was fresh and delicious. I can also recommend their wine cart to accompany the food.
google avatar

Stedman S.

Yelp
Wonderful menu, Wonderful location, Wonderful service! The tradition vegetarian Czech meals are delicious and still give you an authentic sense for the dishes without meat. Not that easy to pull off! Congrats on making this restaurant succeed in all areas of service and cuisine!

Yelp
Again, super glad to find another veggie restaurant in Prague. Sister restaurant of Lehká hlava. Nice decor inside! Vibe was very different from Lehká hlava. Reservations recommended. Their food was also very delicious. The service was great and they gave us recommendations. For any vegetarians traveling to Prague, add this to your list!
google avatar

Yi H.

Yelp
Love this cozy and friendly vegetarian restaurant! Came here based on Yelp's review, it's true that reservation is highly recommended. It's unlikely you will get a table without reservation. The service is very friendly, although food might take a while to be ready. We were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids, our favorite dishes were red curry and quesadilla. Highly recommended if you are looking for some light and healthy!

Yelp
Moving some of my old reviews over to Yelp. This review was originally written/posted on 10 Oct 2010. Nice place, meh food. Honestly I didn't really like Maitrea. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but then again, there weren't too many vegan items that day. I think the dish was called Kung Pao something... It was just bland and meh overall, although my bf thought it was OK. There were a lot of mushrooms and carrots in the dish and very little vegan chicken, which I found disappointing. I think the inside, especially the lower level, is really nice but I can't see myself eating there again.
google avatar

Orla T.

Yelp
Absolutely Delish food! One of our favs in Prague! Very fast service. We ordered the spinach crepes which were so tasty and for main course I had the eggplant curry which was so flavorful. My husband had the peanut noodles and loved it. Top class. If we ever make it back to Prague this will be on th 'must go' list!
google avatar

Maddie M.

Yelp
This is one of the best vegan meals I have ever had. The vegan goulash was phenomenal, not too spicy and super flavorful. It was really great to experience Czech cuisine as a pescatarian! The dumplings were soft and everyone enjoyed their meals/sides. Our waitress was super attentive, and the espresso was the best I had during my stay in Prague.
google avatar

TJ A.

Yelp
I'm a carnivore and after seeing so many great looking meaty spots around I was kinda bummed when my group wanted to come here; BUT THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD. Tried a bit of everything and it was all awesome, fear not meat-eaters this place was great.
google avatar

Natalie Y.

Yelp
Pretty restaurant in a great location, but not so special for vegetarian food. The guacamole we ordered as a starter was tiny and the size of a personal side, and both orders my brother and I got were very oily and over sweetened in my opinion. I got the tamarind stir fry and my brother got the Thai eggplant curry, neither of which I was expecting to be sweet. I didn't even bother taking pictures because the presentation of the food didn't look that great. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Prices were reasonable, we ended at 600 crown which is around 30$ for the two of us. Maybe I'm spoiled with the vegetarian restaurants in the US, but I personally wouldn't come back, even though prices are decent. Maybe I chose the wrong menu items..

Edward G.

Yelp
Excellent vegetarian food, friendly service, great soups, fresh juices, one of the 2-3 go to veggie restaurants in Prague. Highly recommend...

Yelp
Honestly, I can't stop thinking about this place. This was the highlight of my trip to Prague... in such a beautiful city, I absorbed the delicious food and Eastern feel ambiance at Maitrea. Maitrea reminded me of my days in Goa. Anyway, table for one! Let's begin. They have an extensive drink menu from kombucha to aloe vera. They have a "daily offering" special which was a vegan lemon and fennel soup paired with a curry rice baba ganoush dish. I opted for something that caught my eye on the menu called Besamaze. Homemade meat balls and pesto, roasted vegetables and a tofunaise. Delicious! With tip, my drink and meal cost 15 USD. Without tip it was around 11 USD. I can't wait to go back..... Seriously!
google avatar

Alex H.

Yelp
Excellent place, great design and ambiance. Not a vegetarian here, but thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we had at lunch. Would definitely return and bring my veg friends with me.
google avatar

Chris G.

Yelp
Fantastic food. Even my none vegetarian friends fall in love with this place. Get the shared starter...the mushroom pate alone is with the trip. While they are a bit backwards in how they book tables (a table booked at 8:30 often means it's not available for a walk-in at 6:30...what?!?) but their disorganization is still worth tolerating for the food. Too many fantastic items to mention....but if you go to Prague and don't visit, you have missed a great opportunity for beautifully prepared food food!

Yelp
Maitrea is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at while travelling. Honestly. The ambiance is lovely. Low lighting, soothing music, and super relaxed wait staff. We were only in Praha for 2 nights and we ate here both nights! It's that good. All vegetarian friendly with some vegan and raw dishes thrown in as well. The house made drinks are delicious and I can not recommend the ginger lemonade enough. And get this, the Meatless "Mushroom" Balls with potatoes and tomato sauce were so delicious that I ordered it AGAIN when my husband and I came back for dinner the next night! Wholeheartedly, Maitrea is NOT to be missed if you're in Praha!
google avatar

Ava P.

Yelp
Location was really good, and the decoration inside was beautiful. We ordered the halloumi burger and the saffron risotto, and we had to wait for 45 minutes. The waitress only informed us once that the food was delayed, yet somehow all the other customers that came after us got their food first. The presentation of the food was nice, but it seemed like it only concealed the blandness of the food. Basically the only good thing was the beer.
google avatar

Mari M.

Yelp
A delightful vegan spot with a lovely calming atmosphere, good wine choices, and great food. We showed up without a reservation and got the last table of the night, so its probably best to make one. We were seated downstairs. It's fantastic that everything vegan is marked, and they also offer an English menu if your Czech isn't fluent. I had the peanut udon noodles and they were delicious, cooked perfectly with fresh veggies and a rich sauce. The vegan raw apple strudel was also fantastic! A wonderful addition to our stay in Prague.

Yelp
Most people visiting Prague plan to try traditional Czech food... Well.. once would be oK but then you might want to try all variety of food that Prague offers. Vegetarian food doesn't sound too appealing to you in Pragu? Think again. This place has very cool ambiance, especially basement. You will find mostly locals, not tourists. Portions are generous and well priced. I tried vegetarian sausage (similar to vegetarian sausage you find in US) and veg. gourash. Both were quite tasty although Gourash was a bit too salty for my taste. My friend had veg. shrimp curry with rice and she loved it. Burger with goat cheese was another good choice. The best part was the dessert. I loved white chocolate mousse. Hard to believe it was vegetarian.. Highly recommended.

Outstanding vegan dishes, attentive service and comfortable atmosphere. Really enjoyed our lunch here after a morning touring around the Jewish Quarter.

Yelp
Not sure how I got dragged into this by a bunch of friends who are tourists in Prague for a few days and wanted to try traditional Czech cuisine in a vegan restaurant? Anyways, this place definitely screams hipster and zen. The first page of the menu has some zen quote about Buddha. Really nice place though, and very solid variety of vegan cuisines and dishes all at the expensive hiked up price that you would expect in the heart of Old Town. I didn't order a dish, but had a bite of my friend's imitation goulash which was... goulash tasting I guess. I wasn't a fan, but if you're vegan, this place is definitely a good alternative. I do have to admit it was honestly very good imitation goulash. My other friends ordered a variety of other dishes that looked good--one of the salads even came with quesadillas! But as a very keen meat eater, this wasn't exactly my jam. tl;dr great vegan place, slightly higher prices. give it a go if you're vegan, but this shouldn't be on your radar as a much go if you're only in Prague for a few days.

Yelp
Prompt service and excellent food choices! Not a lot of vegan options, but a few so we were happy! Cool decor and great atmosphere.

Yelp
My most beloved vegetarian restaurant in Prague. Fantastic food, welcoming service and nice interior. I recommend to make a reservation, especially for the dinner and/or bigger groups. Also to take some fresh juices and if you want to try a typical Czech food in a vegetarian version - take Svíčková;)
