Majestic City Retreat Hotel

I booked this hotel because it was good compromise in distance between city center and airport. We arrived to Dubai after difficult mountain expedition to relax. I saw that at 24 floor of hotel is wellness and spa. I booked pair massage for me and my husband for 610 AED!!! As soon as we arrived to massage room we found out that this place is not for decent people but it is shady place, I didn't expect something like this in Dubai neither in 4 star hotel!!! In massage room was shower, bed, everything ready for something else than real massage. We didn't want to be rude, and wanted to be polite so just asked if we can finish massage earlier, they didn't want, because we already paied. So my husband stand up and act like he starts feeling sick, so we could left after 10 minutes! They even wanted tip by us! Nobody give us money back, they even make jokes about us when we left! It is shame that in Muslim country, in 4 star hotel is shady place like this! Breakfast at hotel are not good, focused just on Indian customers. I get free upgrade for extra big apartment which I didn't even want, when I wanted to prolong stay for one day, I had to pay full price for one more night.

The pictures and the reception look good but the actual rooms are very bad when you not comfortable and overcrowded lifts. ||||The staff are very good i would like to say Praneet was the one that checked me in good service from him and all the staff.||||Initially was going well they said they gave me a different room from what I had booked as an upgrade. Which was nice at first. ||||But after moving in the room, it was done to a very bad standard.||||The Floor was lifting and maybe dangerous as could cut your feet or get a splinter, i had to were my shoes the entire time. ||||The drainage in the bathroom would smell and the shower drain wouldn't drain properly due to the bad design, and the bed mattress was not comfortable i couldn't sleep I ended up booking another hotel because of this along with everything else. ||||I tried to get the mattress changed but they didn't have anything available. The electric sockets dont work properly and would start to break when you tried inserting something like there very cheap quality and not properly secured to the wall. ||||The room decor looks ok initially but done to a very bad standard, I cut my finger on sharp mirror when I was opening the curtains. ||||The AC would make a noise each time it goes on and off. ||||They only have 2 lifts which are always packed wouldn't want to bring a family to a hotel like this would be very uncomfortable. ||||I tried to pay extra to get a better room that might have a more comfortable bed, but the price they offered me was working 25% more expensive than rebooking on booking.com and they mentioned i wouldn't get a refund from my existing booking anyway. ||||I booked the hotel 2 weeks prior at a fairly good price I thought at the time based on the pictures as I wanted to explore Bur dubai and thought this would be a good option. I was checking prices for hotels and seen this same hotel from 50% less than what I had paid and the there most premium suite they offer for 20% more than what I had paid

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. What really made my experience special was the excellent service — Deepak and his team were extremely helpful, polite, and always ready to assist with a smile. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. Truly appreciated their warm hospitality and professionalism. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay

The bathroom smells like sewage. The smell never goes away. The hotel staff were very kind and this is likely something out of their control but something a traveler should be aware of. We did tell them several times. Love the ambiance of the hotel and the restaurant staff are very friendly.

We had a great experience and hotel staffs are really professional and supportive during our stay. We would like to specially mention about the resturant staffs whom we mostly meet during our stay are very cordial and always checks about the food quality especially Chef Mahalingam. We recommend this hotel for all family visiting on a tourism to Dubai

I had a great experience thanks to the amazing service from Praneeth and Nazeer at the front desk. They were both extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist me. Even though I'm not a regular guest, they treated me with exceptional care and upgraded my stay, which I truly appreciated. Their professionalism and warm attitude made a big difference. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay for Family and friends! I stay with family at Majestic Retreat Hotel in Dubai, The rooms were spacious, neat and clean, The staff was always ready to help. We especially enjoyed the night club and the breakfast buffet—great variety and quality. Perfect location for exploring the city. Highly recommended for families!. Thank you for the lovely stay. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon.

Geeta, Usama, Nazeer, and Sherebanu provided excellent hospitality at the front office. Their warm welcome and professional service made the stay truly enjoyable. The hotel's location is also ideal, close to key attractions and easily accessible. A perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and outstanding customer care. Highly recommended!
