Majestic Old Lion Apartments

Great apartment with all the facilities we needed after a week on the road. Laundry, comfy bed, good shower and toiletries. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free bus outside hotel into the city. Restaurants and takeaways nearby and a small shop down the road for essential stuff if you wanted to cook. Milk provided in the fridge. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our short stay.

Great experience checking in, clear directions on how to find our apartment. We stayed in the Annex building. The location was perfect for us. The room was spacious and well equipped. The 1 thing that absolutely changed my overall score was the bed! OMG it was seriously the worst mattress I have ever tried to sleep on! Pretty sure the floor was softer than the mattress! I feel a thick mattress topper would definitely help. Reception staff were all great to deal with. Car parking is an added cost of $15 per night.

These apartment hotels are perfectly located with the free bus service stop across the road, mini mart, bottle shop, chemist and plenty of various cuisine restaurants in a short stroll. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always cheerful to deal with. The only issues are the the rooms are very tired and in serious need of a revamp, the carpets are badly worn and impregnated with grit, the sheer curtains are threadbare and torn, furniture needs updating as does the kitchen and appliances. The bathroom floor wasn't properly cleaned, it appears to be a build up of cleaning compounds.

Nice spacious very clean and well appointed apartments. For me 10 minutes walk to the hospital when my business meetings were. Good room and a kitchenette. |Only minor issue was some external noise but this did not impact on my experience. ||The hotel beside had great coffee and breakfast available

1br apartment was well laid out and equipped. plenty of space and felt like home. glad to find washer and dryer in room. no view from the balcony though didn't spend time in it anyway. was there on a weekend and was able to find free off street parking with ease. otherwise it's 15aud added cost per night for underground parking. quiet and safe neighbourhood with nearby cafes and restaurants. staff wasn't very welcoming, maybe that's a long day. that didn't ruin the overall positive experience.

Sitting out the front for half an hour. No check in. Pretty poor service. Have yet to see the room let's hope better than front of house, if we ever get in

The website advertises 24hr desk and the sign on the door says reception is manned to 11. On at 10.30 arrival I was told I needed to pay for a cab to a different building to get the key. They would not come to me, and would not pay for the uber to pick up the key. The manager at the property where I needed to pick up the key from said he found it funny that I was upset by the experience.

I keep coming back to these Apartments. I have nothing but great memories here. I love the location. Close to great pubs, has a free city loop bus travel passed it, and is within walking distance of the city and the river. The Apartments are high quality and great to stay in.

Checked in late, in Adelaide for the Eagles. Very friendly front desk despite the hour. Noisy hotel next door but our 'Annex' apartment is large and peaceful. Good location, some entertainment / restaurants close by, and a few more 5 minutes away. Good sized rooms, very comfortable kitchen. Lots of stairs to get to room and very crowded car park. Otherwise a winner.
