My first time at Majesty's Pleasure (Yorkville) - I got a gel manicure done for a special occasion and the service was quite impressive. The staff are kind and attentive. Yerim took care of my nails and she did a beautiful job. Not only was the gel removal and cuticle care done gently with no discomfort (good for my sensitive nails), but she is incredibly skilled as her technique made the polish feel lightweight and durable (no chipping in over 2 weeks!!). I couldn't be happier with how they turned out.

As a reformed nail biter, I've been consistently getting my BIAB gel manicures done by Natalia, and, as someone who's very finicky about their nails, I can say that I wouldn't trust anyone else to do my manicures. She is always diligent and meticulous, and the end results look flawless. She has no issue with spending a little extra time to ensure that the nail looks impeccable. She's super sweet, too! Unlike some other nail techs that have serviced me in the past, she's not pushy at all. I am happy to call myself a regular at Majesty's Pleasure because of Natalia's incredible work. Thank you! <3 I would very highly recommend the BIAB gel manicures for anyone like me, who struggles with growing out their nails. My nails are the longest they've ever been in my life.

I’ve been to the King Street (Toronto) location a few times, and always had a great experience. Recently though, I visited the Yorkdale location for the first time to get an advanced design manicure and had SUCH a blast. The front desk staff were so friendly, and my nail artist (Huma) was amazing! I LOVED my nails and loved how flexible & accommodating Huma was with me - adjusting as needed, and moving quickly and efficiently. I am a little obsessed with my nails, lol, and I can’t wait to come back! The Yorkville location is beautiful, and I enjoyed my super belly mocktail a lot. I had fun, can’t wait to go back again soon!

This was my first visit to this salon for a Gelish manicure. While the staff was polite, and the view was amazing, I was quite disappointed with the overall experience. Firstly, the selection of colors was quite limited compared to other salons I’ve been to. The technician who did my nails was courteous, but unfortunately, the service did not reflect a professional standard at all. She removed my previous Gelish polish using a very coarse file, which left visible scratches on my natural nails. When I politely expressed my concern, it was dismissed without any acknowledgment continuing the same for the remaining of my nails. The manicure itself was poorly done, the color was unevenly applied, and the skin around my nails was not properly cleaned. I’ve attached photos so you can see the results for yourself. Additionally, I noticed concerning hygiene practices. The LED lamps were placed on the floor between uses and then brought back onto the table without being cleaned! Overall, I expected a higher level of care and professionalism and, unfortunately, I would not recommend this salon based on my experience.

I recently visited Majesty’s Pleasure for a nail service, and I had a fantastic experience! The salon has a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, and the staff was incredibly friendly and professional. My nails turned out exactly how I wanted, and the attention to detail was impressive. The overall service was top-notch, and I truly enjoyed my time there. I’ll definitely be returning for more pampering. Highly recommend!

Natalia is beyond talented and takes on a very holistic approach with my extremely fragile and brittle nails. Previous nail tech ruined my nails over a year ago and I have not trusted anyone since lol. Did my own nails for a year and avoided gel nails at all costs due to the trauma my nails went through. Natalia is slowly helping to get my nails back to being healthy again with biab gel manicures and all her general nail health advice. She is super careful and ensures the experience is not painful for me. I never thought that getting gel Manis could actually improve my nails until she started doing them for me!

Short review: i personally did not have a good experience here but their customer service was great and they did make it right for me after I submitted a complaint. That is enough for me to give them another chance next time if I’m ever in the area. I would caution people to ensure the technician they choose does good work rather than just going with anyone. I appreciate the business’ willingness to make things right with me and they were very prompt, professional, and understanding of my concerns which is refreshing. I will try them again in the future to see if my experience changes. Long review: The atmosphere, aesthetic, and vibe of the place is very cute. The service and quality of work is pretty bad from my one experience (and I will not be returning). I did the signature manicure. 1. I asked the technician to keep my nails long but they could be filed down to shape. I said the one broken nail I had could be kept short and I was fine with the others being long. She made them all short like my broken nail. By that point it was too late to do anything. 2. The nail polish was applied sooo poorly, as you can see by the bubbles in the pics. Nail polish only does this if they haven’t applied the coats evenly or have used too-thick coats. Overall not what I expect from a 55$ + tax + tip manicure. There was also no hand and arm massage (as advertised in the description). She rubbed my thumb for 10 seconds, put a warm towel on my hands and called it a day. Also no base coat, which I think is usually pretty standard in manicure. It’s an aesthetic place and if you’re fine dropping money for the vibes, go for it. However, the job done was not good and I’m surprised the tech thought it was okay to send someone out like this. Maybe it depends on the technician but for this cost, every employee should be doing the same quality of work. My friends nails were done really well, and she had a different technician. Two of my nails chipped the same night. I ended up removing them the next day because it looked so bad. I can’t believe someone can look at their work after doing this and be like “yeah I did a good job that’s worth 55$”.

Went to Majesty’s Pleasure for my sister’s bachelorette and had such a lovely experience! The space is beautiful—open, clean, and so well-designed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the celebration feel even more special. Plus, the location is perfect. Would definitely come back for another event or just a treat-yourself day!

Yelp
Horrible service. Waste of money. Created for loser pre-engagement thirty somethings. Expensive shoddy service. Loud crappy techno music. Can't afford to buy real pedicure chairs so you're sitting there in giant barstools made for amazons. They don't fit underneath the counter so you can't sit without leaning if you are of normal height

Yelp
Really up and down service. I use them for waxing. Sometimes the lady is great...sometimes they call me at 7 pm the night before I have a full leg apt, pre vacay, and cancel. Today was ... not great. It was a new wax lady, who took the time to ask me if I had sensitivities, only to ignore me saying I had eczema and to please use extra powder. I stupidly turned my brain off to relax while lying back and realized wax was on my chin...with no powder. So now my face is quite red. She also told me she was done while I had two HUGE hairs under my lip (I booked lip, chin, brow waxing). I did not even need a mirror to know they were still there. She then asked me if there were any other spots without giving me a mirror??? Maybe just not great training, I don't know, but for the price, it should b more nuanced.

Yelp
Great looking spot, but not worth the price at all. I got the signature pedicure, which included soaking and detoxing but my friends manicures lasted longer. The lady who did my pedicure didn't scrub my feet all that much and I had to ask for more. She also used a sugar scrub which she kind of used like lotion and just did a 2 second rub and put my feet back in the water. Highly overpriced and not worth the hype!

Yelp
Majesty's Pleasure is the place to go for all your pampering needs. This location is located in the heart of Yorkville on the upper floor. I had previously gone to their King West location years ago and was excited for some me time at their newest location. And I had a gift card to use as well so I figured, why not! This review is based on when I went recently where COVID-19 protocols were in place. I was able to book an appointment online fairly easy by choosing the time and manicurist I preferred (I chose Mariko just based on reviews); if there were any changes to be made that was easy to do as well on their website. I opted for an ultimate gel manicure (includes the Signature Manicure plus exfoliation, hydrating mask followed by an extended moisturizing hand and arm massage) which cost $90. In regards to the experience, my temperature was checked upon arrival and the place was not at full capacity (I went on a Friday morning). Masks are mandatory throughout your entire session and floor markers were present indicating for people to maintain a 6 feet distance. During the manicure, Mariko wore a face shield and mask and was very professional. She did a great job with cleaning up my nails! The exfoliation, hand mask and hand/arm massage was also a real treat. My gel manicure was great - I even went to workout after my manicure with no issues of chipping. The colour lasted more than 3 weeks. Overall, great service and attention to detail! Majesty's Pleasure is more expensive compared to other nail salons but my experience was just what I needed.

Yelp
Yesterday was my first trip to their Yorkville Location and it did not disappoint! From the moment you walk in you're treated with the nicest customer service. I spent over 4 hours getting a cut and highlights with Kevin. He was so much fun, knew exactly what I wanted after we chatted and I've never been happier with my hair. Also, the mimosas and spicy hot chocolate were delicious! The prices are really reasonable too. Highly recommend!

Yelp
loved our mani and pedi at majesty's pleasure! service was incredible - my mani is still intact and it's been weeks! i was recommended the rose or floral latte and it was soooo good! usually don't go for sweet lattes but this was perfect. the ladies did a great job with our pedis too. we reserved a few days before and when we went it was super quiet and relaxing. we can't wait to come back again soon! amazing birthday treat!! ps we did the shellac mani and regular pedi. this was pricey but worth it to us - please make sure to check out prices when you book :)

Yelp
I have been to many different spa's, with a few in Yorkville and this was the first pedicure I had that was so underwhelming and ridiculously over priced for what you get. It was a $30 pedicure at best. There was no luxurious experience or feeling of being pampered. It was actually below average and nothing special about it. I was surprised when she started scraping my nail cuticles without my feet softening up in the water first. And she barely scrubbed my heel/bottom of my foot, it was so light. It was not not like silk, which is what I am used to. A nude pedicure is $60 and to have them put polish was an extra $10!! Like really? shouldn't the polish be included? When we arrived the hostess was very nice and asked if we would like to drink something, I asked if it was complimentary and they said no. Like for a $70 pedicure, you can't offer your customers a bottle of water? Definitely doesn't make the customer feel special or wanting to splurge when you nickel and dime the customer. For top dollar the customer should be pampered. The place was just ok, but the bench we sat on was uncomfortable. The bathrooms were so dirty, especially around the toilet. Which was shocking. The only beautiful feature was the balcony and view through the large windows. However, I didn't leave feeling like my feet were rejuvenated or that the experience was so relaxing and enjoyable. Instead I left feeling robbed. I've had pedicures for $45 where I was treated like royalty and the pedicure was amazing. At this price the experience and end result should be perfection. Our final bill was just under $160 which is ridiculous for 2 below average pedicures. I will never go back.

Yelp
Waxing nightmare. Got my brows waxed and they BURNT MY SKIN. Was left with a red line between my eyebrows. Finally went away after a week of constantly applying polysporin for fear of it scarring for life. Very surprising as the staff appeared to be very professional.....side note also got my eyebrows and lashes tinted and they did a great job.....would go back but never ever for waxing.....ever.

Yelp
Lol this place is a joke. I went for a $100 pedicure, the girl cut my toe nails so short I'm surprised they didn't bleed. Then, she didn't remove the cuticle, but pushed it down unevenly and painted over it. To top it off, while I was waiting for my toes to dry, the girl in charge told me I had to wait outside on the patio for my polish to dry. It was 11 degrees and raining. I understand salons taking precautions due to covid but I'm pretty sure other nail salons aren't making patrons wait outside in the cold and rain while their polish dries.
