My fiance and I stayed at Maji Moto and did a walking safari with the Maasai. Our experience was nothing short of incredible. The food was absolutely divine and the hospitality and care of the Maasai left a lasting impression on us. Not only did they immerse us in their culture and provide exhaustive information on their way of life, but they truly welcomed us into their tribe and made us feel at home. They even gave us a traditional Maasai wedding while we were out in the bush. We still communicate from time to time with multiple guides and left the experience feeling like we were saying goodbye to family. Special shoutout to our two guides Sam and Duncan who were amazing, our cook Alex who knocked our socks off with every meal and Samson and the rest of the crew that assisted in our excursion. We will most certainly be back and cannot recommend Maji Moto and their team enough. If you have a spirit for adventure and want a glimpse into the life of the Maasai, this is a must stay opportunity.

Great place to add to your itinerary alongside standard Naivasha/Masai Mara etc. Beautiful spot with incredible views over the plains. Fairly basic but very tasty food. Great for kids (bead making, fire making, Masai dancing, traditional village etc). Comfortable tents. Well run. Only downside is it is very expensive for what it is, especially if you are a family of four as there are no family tents - $850 for two nights felt really quite excessive for the lovely but in many ways no frills (long drop, basic breakfast, tents without any frills etc) nature of the place. But memorable.

This camp was one of the highlights of my amazing three week adventure in Kenya and Tanzania. I got so much out of the walking tour, learning all about Maasai life traditional and in the present day, inspecting plants and flowers and finding out what they are used for. We saw the village down below the ridge where the camp is situated, and saw the hot springs and the town's people and children going about their business there. Our guide demonstrated his prowess with his spear and answered all our questions. Later we had a fascinating time watching the singing and dancing. A campfire after dinner will always be an unforgettable memory from the trip, as village members explained their culture and traditions. The meals were terrific, fresh and satisfying. Our lodging in a tent with comfortable mattresses was my kind of camping, now that I am age 70! The outdoor bathrooms and showers were special, clean and functional. The hot water came from the village hot springs. One outhouse had a beautiful carved "chair" with a great view of the valley below. In fact all the structures were thoughtfully designed, built Masai-style using available materials such as branches, stalks, grass, cow-dung, mud and stone. As such they made sense in the landscape and were pleasing to look at and use. We were happy to stay in a place operated by Masai people from the nearby village, who gain economically from our stay with them at their magical eco-camp.

We spent two nights during Xmas here and absolutely loved it! Everything is run by the Masai and they are all so welcoming, friendly and just want to ensure that you have a great time! Food was delicious (vegetarian was no problem) and we can just highly recommend coming here! You will learn a lot about the culture and can ask any questions. We will never forget our time at this wonderful place ✨💛

We spent the morning at Maji Moto and stayed for lunch - it was an amazing experience! The warmth and kindness of everyone made us feel right at home, and we learned so much about their culture. The setting is absolutely stunning. Lunch was served among the bushes, and they thoughtfully prepared a gluten free buffet for me, as I’m celiac.

We stayed 2 days (one night) on this amazing spot. Maji moto is a simple place but with a specific soul, a magnificent view, really good food too and really kind people. |Martin was our guide during our stay and he explained a lot of things about the culture, plants, traditions and actual pratice on Masaï Tribes!! It's not similar to some other Masai related touristic places. We really recommand this place and the guide Martin! |We had a really good time during our stay. So thank you!|Wallis and Pauline

We stayed at the camp for one night. It was great experience. Local guide Sam took us to the hot spring and Maasai village. The whole time Sam was really nice and knowledgeable about nature and culture. Sam talked about the local ecosystem and how people lives their life. On the road we saw many young kids carrying 10 or 20 liter water barrel from the spring water pool to their home. These are their cooking water. We visited the village and met with the women. They welcomed us with singing and dancing and allowed to their Maasai house . We brought them some small gifts. Before leaving, they also gave each of us a small gift. That was a big surprise, really touched my heart. The camp is in a very remote local. Tent is clean and comfortable. The environment is very peaceful and beautiful! People are very warm, especially our guide Sam! Thanks to everyone there, we had very nice stay!

We spent three days at this camp with our family. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure our son had an unforgettable stay. We explored the surroundings and studied insects with the Maasai. The food was also very tasty and suited the environment perfectly. The bed in the tent was clean and very comfortable.
